Thanks to the overturning of Roe v. Wade, young women are confronting some basic truths about men and women that feminism has denied for the last half-century. Like other left-wing movements, feminism is based on a denial of reality (or, if you prefer, on lies). The best-known example is the feminist insistence that, except for physical differences, men and women are basically the same. This includes the central feminist belief about men's and women's sexual natures. For half a century, women have been told that their sexual nature is no different from male sexual nature --

Unwilling to avoid having sex with every penis that walks by, and tooo stupid or lazy to use contraception is a really sad way to go through life. Add in murdering babies on top of it, and what a hellacious life.

Hookups and casual sex are not women’s natures. Women were pressured into having such sex because of the culture. I hope this does bring an era of discrimination and discretion. Women should look at every male partner as a potential father of their children - with or without abortion readily available. It may be a relief for women to have more say.

If you are going to live the life of a feral animal. For God's sake please get yourself sterilized. And a good medical policy to help out with all the diseases you might acquire.

Sexual Reality is that sex is meant to create children and propagate the human race. Consider the consequences before you bring that person home you met in a bar, which is a difficult thing to do when you've been drinking alcohol all night.
FTA: "For example, some women have called for a sex strike against men."
It doesn't have to be called for, it's called "marriage." Obviously these things must be discussed before taking further steps when you meet somebody.

FTA: "The whole issue is saturated with irony. With regard to men and women, most of what feminism fought for has hurt women and benefited men. Brainwashing women into believing that their sexual nature is no different from men's only benefited men."
This time around the snake in the garden was a man named Larry Lader, the apple was abortion, and Eve was played by Betty Friedan.
The National Organization for Women was pro-life when first formed in 1966, and its first president was Betty Friedan. Betty came under the influence of Larry Lader, the founder of the National Association for the Repeal of Abortion Laws - eventually becoming NARAL Pro-Choice America. Lader was also a biographer of Margaret Sanger and an advocate for population control. He said the idea of legalizing abortion, "struck at the tenets of the Roman Catholic Church and fundamentalist faiths, but even more important, at the whole system of sexual morality to which the middle class gave lip service." His goal was the total dismantling of sexual morality.
Over many years Larry cultivated Betty and finally persuaded her to include the sexual revolution's demand for abortion in the women's rights platform. At NOW's second annual convention in 1967, Betty packed the room with students from the Eastern women's colleges and late one night, at 11:00 pm, she added support for abortion to the platform. The recorded vote was 57 in favor and 14 against. One third of the original NOW members left the organization. Many of them went on to found the pro life groups that began the fight finally victorious this week.
To learn more about this story, and the equally amazing details of Justice Blackmun's Roe's decision, you've got to read "Subverted: How I Helped the Sexual Revolution Hijack the Women's Movement" by Sue Ellen Browder. Sue Ellen was a former Cosmopolitan writer under Helen Gurley Brown. She now writes for the National Catholic Register, is an Eastern Orthodox and a dear friend. Its a fabulous book, even if I am biased.

With a lot of species of animals the females doesn't mate with the first male that comes along. It's up to the male prove/ attract the female to maintain a strong genetic foundation. Not so with some humans.

Contraception gives the illusion that sex and procreation are not the same thing. If you have sex with someone, you had better be prepared to parent with them.

Ever notice all the men at those Roe vs Wade so-called "peaceful" protests? None of them want to pay for child support.

When my son started to cast an eye towards the ladies, I told him to take a good, long look and ask himself if he would want this girl to be the mother of his kids, because if HR didn't keep his drawers on, this is a possibility. Thankfully he listened.

The damage the women’s movement has done is immeasurable in terms of lives lost and ruined. We traded morality for indiscriminate sex and that put us on a collision course with abject misery especially women. While abortion was lauded as panacea of all our reproductive problems, it turns out it was a lie that would result in over 60,000,000 deaths, massive guilt, and physical and psychological problems for many women. It hardened women. They were fed a bunch of lies about how unfulfilling staying home and raising a family was. Intelligent women didn’t do this we were told. As I look back on those years I see how this philosophy actually subverted the concept of a family and we are paying the price today.
The sexual revolution has been a disaster. It encouraged women to take a path in life that was antithetical to who they were. It encouraged them to believe they were just like men and promiscuity was their right, and society has paid a high price. Women became more masculinized and men become more feminized. Roles were changing and the very idea of family as we had always known it changed too. Children have suffered for it and continue to do so today. This movement has devastated the foundation of morality. Just look at what we tolerate and are expected to celebrate. Women’s rights which promised sexual freedom has opened a Pandora’s box of perversion. We went down a slippery slope and have ended up with a hedonistic society that preys on children. Every aspect of our lives has become sexualized even children’s cartoons and books. Culture rot is rampant. Every family is at risk. Violence is escalating. Respect for others is fading. The country has lost its way.
However, there is a remnant of sanity where traditional values are lived out. If your community values faith, family, and country fight to preserve it. Live out your faith and values. Give your kids the life they deserve and were intended to have. Regardless of what the left wants you to believe, there are more of us than there are of them. The irony is that they are creating more of us everyday as we see the perverted game they are playing and demand we join in. Most of us have had enough.

As they should! An old man who lived near me and was full of old corny jokes used to ask people, Do you know what causes twins? Usually they would answer, no what causes twins? PH---ing, he would say.

Here's some sexual reality.
Sex is for making babies. It's not simply 'fun'.
Sex has consequences, and it's a form of russian roulette. Consequences might be pregnancy, venereal disease, HIV, and a number of other negatives... or all of the above.
There is no such thing as free love. Someone always pays the price.

Think of abortion as equivalent to making horcruxes (Harry Potter).
Also, NEVER imagine abortions are safe for YOU. Lot's of girls die on the table each year because the provider botched the procedure.

I suspect that many young women don't want to be held accountable for the bad decisions they make such as getting pregnant outside of marriage. This is why the right to an abortion is so important to them. This way they can blame their lust for recreational sex on someone else while using the right to an abortion which they believe is their moral cover.

Conception can be prevented - in at least 17 different ways: contraceptive pill, contraceptive implants, tri-monthly contraceptive shots, IUDs, spermicides, contraceptive patch, contraceptive vaginal ring, diaphragm, contraceptive sponge, rhythm method, emergency contraception such as the morning-after pill, male condom, female condom, tubal ligation, monitoring fertility period, vasectomy, abstinence. Interestingly enough, neither abortion nor abstinence is on their list of birth control methods. (https://www.cdc.gov/reproductivehealth/contraception/index.htm)
Any child who is afterward conceived and unwanted can be adopted by loving, caring parents or fostered (and hopefully monitored for a good outcome). We have a safety net to catch and care for these children and it needs to be strengthened.
If memory serves correctly, former president George H. W. Bush said “one does not control the size of one's family by murdering its members." George W. Bush said, "The fingers and toes and beating hearts that we can see on an unborn child's ultrasound come with something that we cannot see: a soul.” Isn't it more humane for us as a society to promote contraception rather than murder?

Several thoughts:
What happens when casual sex leads to making a baby with someone you don't even like or know?
Sex for self-gratification quickly becomes a meaningless empty act. The other person isn't even thinking about you.
How many sex partners must one have before they come the equivalent of a human toilet? You can pick up any diseases they have or diseases they picked up from their other partners.
The lifestyle does not work.

The denizens of that 3rd world s••thole we call hollywood, with one marriage after another (think kardashians) has led people to believe marriage is outdated. 3, 4 and 5 divorces are not uncommon in the small Louisiana parish I live in, amongst the younger set, 40's and under. Yet, in my group of friends, we've all got marriages of 50+ years! It's a generational thing, I believe.

According to a Fox News report I heard last night, 54 percent of abortions are done using oral "medication". Even Gov. Kristi Noem (R-SD) hesitates to say whether their prescription is illegal in her state - just so they're not delivered by mail from outside the state. The overturning of Roe does not outlaw abortion. SCOTUS did not recognize any right to life. It merely returned governance of the practice to the states. Think California or New York will ban abortions anytime soon?
