Frustrated NYC detectives leaving ‘insane’
NYPD, have ‘had enough’

More than 100 NYPD detectives have retired in June — and another 75 plan to put their papers in next month — as many become frustrated by revolving door justice and rules that hamstring them in the Big Apple, officials and detectives told The Post. “That’s going to have a major impact on investigating crimes,” Detectives Endowment Association President Paul DiGiacomo said. “The detective squads are down now as we speak and are investigating more cases. It’s going to have an impact on public safety.” So far this year 250 detectives have retired, leaving the total number at about 5,600, which is nearly 2000 less than two decades ago.

What is the point of investigating if no one is prosecuted? How useless do the people feel?

Wasn't it the whole object of so-called justice reform in NY? Let the prized criminals escape all punishment and get rid of all cops? How's that working out for NY? A recent case in upstate NY where two people were let go for tracking pounds of illegal drugs. How's that working out? Take drugs and drop dead from fentyal. ""the total number.... is nearly 2000 less than two decades ago."" Isn't that the ultimate goal. As Ocrazio Cortes stated "less police equals less crime". In a few years there should be no crime at all. Most burglary and theft will be reclassified as reparations. Any murders will be called retroactive abortions.

Their best detectives will be replaced with young patrol officers who have not done any police work except answer calls and take reports. This should be interesting .

Kamala Harris’s ‘clarified’ statement about Joe Biden’s plans for reelection (if he’s even alive in 2024) raised some eyebrows. Harris previously said, “Joe Biden is running for reelection and I will be his ticket mate.” On Wednesday Harris clarified her statement, “The president intends to run and if he does, I will be his ticket mate.” No prominent Democrat lawmaker will even go on the record and endorse Joe Biden for 2024.

The testimony of former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson regarding former President Donald Trump on Jan. 6 is at best questionable, but proponents of the narrative are so desperate for it to ring true that they will risk any remaining shred of credibility they have left to defend it and their fellow service members on the frontlines of corporate media hackery. Cue Geraldo Rivera. The co-host from Fox News’ “The Five” knows that, as yet, there have been no reported confirmations that any of the claims made by Hutchinson, the aide to then-White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, are true.

The left’s reaction to the Supreme Court’s historic decision last week overturning Roe v. Wade has been uniformly appalling but not at all surprising: violence, calls for more violence, calls to pack the court, ignore its decisions, dissolve it. In other words, about what you’d expect from people who want to destroy every institution they don’t control. On the right, the reaction has been rather more mixed, mainly because of the cowardice and intellectual dishonesty of the Never Trump faction, whose leading lights can’t bring themselves to give credit to former President Donald Trump for accomplishing what the Republican establishment could not.

In case you were too busy caring about things that actually matter to notice, the January 6th committee is back in session. That came after its members announced an “emergency” hearing for Tuesday, including the inclusion of a “surprise” witness. Now, you’d think going through such pomp and circumstance meant they came across some damning new evidence proving their assertion that Donald Trump organized an insurrection. But if you thought that, you thought wrong. Rather, Tuesday’s hearing was another ridiculous parade of absurdity, full of hearsay and no hard evidence of essentially anything.
