A Southern Australia public high school has enraged and horrified parents by removing outer bathroom doors in order to create “non-gendered” facilities and in the process sacrificing privacy by exposing toilet cubicles to students and teachers walking past the restroom.Peter Kuss, who is the principal of Golden Grove High School in Adelaide, sent out a letter on May 12 to parents and caregivers informing them of bathroom changes that were being implemented according to the Daily Mail.“The health, safety and wellbeing of all young people is important to us. We understand that accessing toilet facilities whilst at school can cause anxiety for some students,” he wrote in the letter.

Federal government employees have a sweet deal that may just get sweeter -- if you're into infanticide. In a May 18 letter, the Department of Justice Gender Equality Network (DOJ GEN) penned a letter asking the administration to “swiftly consider” granting federal employees time off for them or their family members to travel for abortions. The DOJ GEN is listed on the DOJ site as an employee organization and is a group of 1,150 DOJ employees that are recognized by the DOJ but don’t speak for it directly, The Blazereported. The letter was sent to the White House’s budget office, Gender Policy Council and the Office of Personnel Management.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) said Thursday that he is “hopeful” Vice President Kamala Harris will be “the next president of the United States.” Newsom’s comments came during an interview with the San Francisco Chronicle editorial board. The board asked Newsom, who is running for a second term this mid-term election cycle, “if he would promise to voters that he wouldn’t run for president before the end of that term,” which would expire in 2027.“Yeah, I mean, I have sub-zero interest. It’s not even on my radar,” he said, adding that Harris, who has drawn criticism regarding her performance as vice president, should succeed President Joe Biden, the Chronicle noted.

His famous name shadows George P. Bush, the only member of the dynastic political clan now in public office, as he enters the final days of an uphill campaign to unseat Texas’ attorney general.
To some Texans, the Bush family name is a badge of integrity, harking back to a bygone era of rectitude and respectful political debate. To others, it is the disqualifying mark of a Republican old guard that failed the party and betrayed its last president, Donald Trump.

George Washington University law professor and self-proclaimed liberal Jonathan Turley said Friday on Fox News’ “Special Report” that Hillary Clinton will probably avoid “direct responsibility” in the Durham probe because of her “Voldemort-like status.”
Apropos of nothing, but since we’re busy comparing public figures to Harry Potter characters, I would like to point out that our short-lived disinformation czar Nina Jankowicz can be compared to similarly temporary-tenured Hogwarts Headmistress Dolores Umbridge. Just sayin’.
But back to the story at hand. Appearing with host Bret Baier on “Special Report,” Turley predicted Clinton would escape consequences like she always seems to.

The last several weeks in the United States have been a wild ride. Everything that could go wrong, short of a full-blown apocalyptic situation, has gone wrong. The stock market is currently in the midst of a collapse, with the Dow Jones losing nearly 5,000 points over the last 30 days. Inflation clocked in at 8.3% for April, representing another crushing blow to Americans. Of course, gas prices continue to break milestones on a daily basis.
Meanwhile, the border crisis is completely out of control, with the only somewhat positive news being that a court blocked the Biden administration’s push to lift Title 42,

I’ve previously reported how Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) took Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm apart when she tried to blame rising gas prices on Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. Then there was Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) who exposed an insane announcement from the Interior Department about stopping all new oil leases. Interior Secretary Haaland also refused to tell Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) whether it was environmentally better to produce oil in Venezuela or the U.S. — his point being if this is about what’s better for the environment, you’d want to produce it here. Yet the Biden team is hindering production here, while reaching out to Venezuela.

WASHINGTON— The top U.S. military officer challenged the next generation of Army soldiers on Saturday to prepare America’s military to fight future wars that may look little like the wars of today. Army Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, painted a grim picture of a world that is becoming more unstable, with great powers intent on changing the global order. He told graduating cadets at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point that they will bear the responsibility to make sure America is ready. “The world you are being commissioned into has the potential for significant international conflict between great powers.

There’s a lot to be said, and some people are already saying it. One is Jonathan Turley, and another is Devin Nunes. Nunes gave a very lucid interview to Fox News that happens to work very well with Turley’s equally lucid article at The Hill.If you read Turley first, then listen to Nunes’ explanation of the significance of it all, you’ll get a very good overview of why this revelation will end up being very important—whether or not Sussmann is convicted.

Does it say something about the state of the country that a generally very perceptive observer of politics like Conrad Black believes that our future may hinge on a, frankly, elderly man like Trump? Yet that is Black’s claim in a thought provoking article that first appeared in The Epoch Times. I’ll link to the version that appeared this morning at Zerohedge:
The Swamp Must Be Drained
I don’t agree with all of it, and disagree vehemently with some of it(snip)Nevertheless, even after criticizing Trump (snip) Black maintains that Trump is the only one who can drain the Swamp. In the process, he provides a considerable amount of food for thought.

The Democrats are increasingly desperate as the return of Donald Trump becomes more likely each week. They are muddling the sequence of events that got us to the present impasse: Trump ran against the corrupt back-scratching, log-rolling society of the OBushintons—the Clinton pay-to-play schemes, the Biden sales of influence and access, the semi-disguised socialist racism elitism of the Obamas, and the flabby sameness and ineffectuality of the Bush–McCain–Romney–McConnell–Ryan Republicans. Trump sensed the people were dissatisfied with the bipartisan Swamp, and he ran as strenuously against the Bushes and McCain and Romney in 2016 as he did against the Clintons and Obamas.

I asked him what he thought about Boise, and he said he loved it here better than Mumbai. People don't care about you in a big city, he said. Whether you live or die makes no difference to them.

I keep getting asked the same question again and again; is this outbreak of monkey pox a real threat, or is this another case of overstated and weaponized public health messaging? I am going to save my answer to this question for the end of this article and instead focus on what monkey pox is, the nature and characteristics of the associated disease, what we know and don’t know. because Monkeypox is related to Smallpox, this does not in any way mean that it represents a similar public health threat. Anyone who implies otherwise is basically engaged in or otherwise supporting weaponized public health-related propaganda.

Either way, the trends aren’t great.Today’s global cases are double the number recorded on Wednesday. Cases have also doubled in the UK. The virus has been found on at least four continents in the past month, suggesting that something has changed about it qualitatively. But if it has, it’s curious that Africa isn’t seeing an unusually large outbreak this year.

Oddly enough, the law was essentially hidden inside of the administration’s LGBTQ-friendly $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill that was passed late last year.
The “kill switch law” would potentially allow law enforcement to shut one’s car off remotely, and also to track the car’s metrics

The footage shows a man on a dirt bike wearing an orange helmet, whom the sheriff’s office has identified as Barreto, fleeing from a patrol vehicle at a high rate of speed in Osceola County.
He could be seen weaving in and out of traffic, driving the wrong way and popping

If you were to believe leftist, bolshie rhetoric you’d think mullet-topped bumpkins with muskets were falling out of every Ford F-150 rambling the back roads of ‘Merica, looking to lynch black folks.
The Democrats like to throw around the term “white supremacy” every chance they get. Joe Biden, who gave a eulogy for an actual Klansman — Hillary Clinton’s mentor Sen. Robert Byrd (D-W.Va.), the longest-serving Senator in history) — dared call 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse a “white supremacist” after he lawfully ventilated three white Antifa prags in self-defense. The ONE attacker he didn’t shoot was the black guy who kicked him while Rittenhouse was on the ground. [Tweet] “White supremacy”

When it comes to innovation from a global perspective, the ideas and products from America’s Silicon Valley are second to none. And when we consider which of those Big Tech companies has been the boldest, it’s difficult to argue against Apple. From producing the very first home computer known as the Macintosh, to its iPods and iPhones, to the Apple Watch, there is no doubt Apple Inc. has been on the cutting edge of technological development for the better part of four decades. But their latest venture into electric vehicle manufacturing has just hit a major pothole.

The Biden administration privately acknowledged late last month that a mathematical error is delaying the federal government’s offshore oil and gas program.
In an April 29 letter to industry leaders obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation, the head of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration says that a subagency “discovered a miscalculation” that has caused a massive backlog in permitting.
Richard Spinrad acknowledged in his letter that the National Marine Fisheries Service—the subagency tasked with analyzing the impact of offshore drilling projects on wildlife—has used faulty computer modeling on such impacts. As a result, Spinrad wrote, the subagency overestimated wildlife effects, delaying permitting on existing leases.

He also announced that Florida is registering almost 45 percent of the market share of overseas traveling, the highest rate in the country and the highest ever recorded, beating out New York which previously had the highest numbers.

As many as three donors to Hillary Clinton’s past presidential campaigns are members of the jury in the trial of former Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann in Washington, D.C., who faces the sole charge of lying to the FBI.Prosecutors working with Special Counsel John H. Durham contend that Sussmann concealed his work for the campaign when passing along information to the FBI about an alleged link between then-candidate Donald Trump and Russia, via Alfa Bank. The Alfa Bank claim was later found to be baseless, and witnesses said this week that Sussmann’s alleged deception gave him status as a confidential source that meant FBI agents could not ask further questions

After a promising start to morning trading, the major stock indexes turned sharply negative Friday with the S&P 500 tumbling into bear market territory and the Dow Jones Industrial Average setting up for the longest streak of weekly losses since the Great Depression. And then stocks turned around again, to end the day mostly flat. The Dow ended the day nearly flat, which brings its weekly decline to 2.77 percent. This was eighth consecutive weekly loss for the index. That is the longest losing streak since 1932.

Elon Musk called out an old Hillary Clinton tweet as a “hoax” Friday after a Twitter user flagged it for misleading disinformation and was ignored. The tweet, written Oct. 31, 2016 during Clinton’s failed presidential campaign, is a statement issued in response to a news report about an alleged secret server at Trump Tower that was being used to covertly communicate with Russia.
“Computer scientists have apparently uncovered a covert server linking the Trump Organization to a Russian-based bank,” Clinton wrote in the tweet alongside the statement issued by one of her then-top aides, Jake Sullivan.

The Biden says it disagrees with the ruling by a Louisiana federal judge which blocked them from ending Title 42 - as the Justice Department announces it will appeal.White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said that the authority to make decisions on public health policy nationally 'should rest with the Centers for Disease Control, not with a single district court.Judge Robert Summerhays, a Trump appointee in the Western District of Louisiana, had granted a preliminary injunction on the Biden administration's move to end the restriction on Monday in response to lawsuits from two dozen Republican states, led by Arizona, Louisiana and Missouri.

Dark on TV. Trailing badly in polls. Written off by Republican political insiders nationally and in Georgia.
Former Sen. David Perdue’s once-spirited primary challenge to Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp appears to be sputtering in the homestretch ahead of Tuesday’s vote.
Even the man who recruited Perdue to run against Kemp — former President Donald Trump — seems to have given his campaign up for dead, said three Republicans who have spoken to Trump. They say Trump has groused about what he believes is a lackluster campaign effort from Perdue.

An NYC patient has tested positive for the same genus virus as monkeypox sparking calls from the health department for residents to wear masks indoors—just as New Yorkers were finally returning to mask-free normalcy after COVID-19. The CDC is still waiting for confirmation that it is monkeypox, after the patient tested positive for orthopoxvirus—the genus of viruses that includes smallpox, cowpox, horsepox, camelpox, and monkeypox. City officials say a second possible monkeypox patient tested negative for the virus.
The health department is encouraging New Yorkers to wear face masks to protect against the new virus outbreak, as well as COVID-19 and the flu.

Is this an admission that Karine Jean-Pierre has not exactly risen to her new position as White House press secretary? Yes, if you ask me. Pentagon spokesman John Kirby is a consummate professional, regardless of your political party of choice. The fact that he is being moved into the White House now that Jen Psaki (Psaki bombs) is gone is pretty much an admission that the wrong choice was made for her replacement.
Kirby’s current official title is Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs. He’s clearly comfortable working in Democrat administrations and on lefty cable news networks, as he did at CNN from 2017 to 2021

The US central bank is in the midst of a "whatever it takes" moment when it comes to inflation, but if Fed officials had known how high inflation would rise, they would have changed their course on policy earlier, Fed Chairman Jerome Powell said Tuesday.
"In hindsight, it would have been better to raise rates earlier," Powell said in an interview at the Wall Street Journal's Future of Everything event.
