Automobile ‘kill switch’ law to spy
on and control Americans

Original Article

President Joe Biden recently signed a law mandating (persondating?) that all new vehicles sold after 2026 must be equipped with electronic “kill switches.” These switches could conceivably be used by government officials—or hackers—to seize control of one’s car without permission or oversight. Oddly enough, the law was essentially hidden inside of the administration’s LGBTQ-friendly $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill that was passed late last year. The “kill switch law” would potentially allow law enforcement to shut one’s car off remotely, and also to track the car’s metrics

Now hackers will be able to cause traffic jams at will. Imagine this happening after 911 or during a hurricane evacuation. Didn’t pay your federal taxes, sorry your car no worky until you do. This will be even easier with electric cars, you plug in and Uncle Sam says no power for you butthead! This is Authoritarian Control 100%.

This will be overturned by executive order come the next presidential election, or the auto makers will lobby for it to removed because they will see new cars sales dive as 2026 gets closer.

Do ANY of these fools ever just sit and THINK for a moment ? Anyone here ever try to steer a car with POWER STEERING when the engine isn't running ?? Broken fan belt or serpentine belt breaks and the hydraulic pump stops and steering becomes, Oh, Um nearly impossible and you certainly can't steer quickly - ie - dodge an object !! Same is true for power brakes. Once the vacuum reserve is depleted, 1 or 2 'uses' of the brake pedal, you have to darn near STAND on the foot pedal to get any braking action at all. And if you think your 'emergency brake' will save you - find a country road some time and try stopping your car from about 50 or 60 MPH using only the 'emergency brake' ! This what happens when you have lawyers, who make up a LARGE percentage of the 'control arm' of our government, making technical decisions about which they, apparently, know little to NOTHING !!

I worked in a GM assembly plant back in the mid-seventies. My first job was testing the starting of the vehicle where the driver had to sit in a particular spot on the driver's seat for the car to start. If one sat just a few inches on either side of that spot, the car would not start. Shortly after I started, the government program was eliminated because of complaints from car buyers and government officials. They were getting an ear full from people back home. Government overreach.

The long knives are out for Fox News Channel and also Rupert Murdoch and his family. Again. The cable news network with the highest ratings regularly comes under attack by those who work for other networks and their guests. Something odd is going on lately, though. Two men in particular have leveled wildly dramatic claims against FNC hosts like Tucker Carlson and suggested draconian punishments like jail time or even deportation for the Murdoch family. Remember “Campaign Carl” Cameron? He worked for FNC as a political reporter for two decades, thus the nickname. He was good at his job and mostly stayed in a neutral position

Netflix telling its woke employees that if they really don’t like what the company is doing they should find work elsewhere was a sign that the streaming service was leaving behind a lot of its woke past and embracing a far less politically leftist bent. As many speculated, it was also a portent of things to come. First, the company decided to cancel a number of its woke programs, especially those aimed at children. Now, it seems that the memo Netflix sent out wasn’t just for a bunch of shows coming out, it was about one in particular
Is This How Biden Hopes to Save the Democrats

It was widely believed that Trump was going to cruise to re-election in early 2020. The economy was roaring, and the Democrats’ absurd efforts to impeach him failed to kill his momentum. But when the pandemic hit, there were massive changes to election laws, many of which were done illegally, and many say the changes made our elections more susceptible to fraud. However, the pandemic is essentially over now, and Democrats are heading into the 2022 midterms in a terribly weak position.

I don’t think I have to be the one to tell anyone reading this the news — as you are probably already well aware — but things aren’t going well under the Biden administration. In a sentence I’ve typed way too often over the last year, inflation continues to sit at astronomical levels, gas prices keep increasing, and the border is in shambles. To make matters worse, over the past month, the stock market has crashed, eating away at people’s retirements and investments. Dreams that people had are now going to be on hold for years based on the hope that things will recover, and time isn’t something

“President” Biden made big news this morning with his announcement that the United States would defend Taiwan in the event of an invasion by China. See the triple-bylined AP story “Biden: US would intervene with military to defend Taiwan.” The AP reports from Tokyo: President Joe Biden said Monday that the U.S. would intervene militarily if China were to invade Taiwan, saying the burden to protect Taiwan is “even stronger” after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. It was one of the most forceful presidential statements in support of self-governing in decades. Biden, at a news conference in Tokyo, said “yes” when asked if he was willing to get involved militarily

The world population checks in at just a little under 7.9 billion people. Of that number, Europe has identified 100 cases of monkeypox and the United States has identified...two cases (out of a population of roughly 330 million people). Nevertheless, Joe Biden is already hard at work ratcheting up the fear. Based on the information available, though, we probably don’t need to worry and this should not turn into a government power grab, complete with election control. Preliminarily, Dr. Robert Malone has written a great post about monkeypox (“Truth versus Fearporn”), from which I’ve gleaned a lot of my facts about the disease.

I’m surprised Biden is already in “concerned” mode about this. The political incentives require it, I suppose, as he’d be pilloried by Republicans if he downplayed the outbreak only to have it erupt nationally later. (He’s been burned by premature declarations of victory over viruses before.) But you would think a guy who got elected promising normalcy, facing an electorate that’s exasperated by his failure to deliver on that pledge, would want to ease people’s minds about the latest Thing To Freak Out Over. The burning question about the global monkeypox outbreak is whether the virus has evolved

The number of Americans who think that things are going badly generally is at the highest it’s been during Joe Biden’s tenure in office, according to a new CBS News poll. Seventy-four percent say that things are going badly in America. Most of that has been driven by inflation at 40-year record highs. But now, the stock market has taken a sharp downturn as well, making people even more pessimistic and wondering if their retirement savings may be in jeopardy. Two-thirds of those who have invested in the stock market are pessimistic. A damning indictment of the Biden presidency: 69 percent say the economy is bad. 77 percent are pessimistic about costs.
