Dark on TV. Trailing badly in polls. Written off by Republican political insiders nationally and in Georgia.
Former Sen. David Perdue’s once-spirited primary challenge to Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp appears to be sputtering in the homestretch ahead of Tuesday’s vote.
Even the man who recruited Perdue to run against Kemp — former President Donald Trump — seems to have given his campaign up for dead, said three Republicans who have spoken to Trump. They say Trump has groused about what he believes is a lackluster campaign effort from Perdue.
Trump isn’t planning to make any more personal appearances

An article designed to dishearten and sow resentment and discontent among Republicans.

Trump's support of Perdue was all about 2020. There's a lesson there.

Oh please, why didn't NBC just endorse Abrams & leave us alone!! Comcast NBC is more bias than AP.. Palin is campaigning for Perdue in Ga. I can't believe a republican would vote for Kemp!

The part about Trump pulling his support from Perdue is false, but Perdue is only pulling in 8, 10, 12 people at his latest campaign stops. He's thought of as an insider Washington politician here in Georgia and we don't trust him. Kemp has been a decent governor, was one of the first to open his state when covid hit, just passed Constitutional carry in Georgia and he beat the socialist Stacy Abrams once. We know he can do it again. Perdue running on sour grapes and seeking political power again doesn't fly with us patriotic Georgians.

Kemp is going to win the primary. He has been a good governor, the 2020 stuff notwithstanding. He has kept the state open, brought new business in, and kept unemployment very low. Perdue can't beat Stacy Abrams and that's what really matters. If President Trump is smart, once Kemp wins, he'll make one of those "we all have to unite" statements. Stacy Abrams will absolutely destroy the state!

Living outside of Atlanta I can tell you , except for the TRUMP ads for Perdue , There has hardly been any Perdue ads.
This is the way he campaigned against Ossoff and lost. If he wins the primary he will do the same I'm afraid with Abrams.
...and I like the guy.

Watch a lot of Atlanta tv. David Perdue has disappeared from Atlanta tv. Brian Kemp is running against The Blob. Always things that amuse in politics. Kemp is bragging that he balanced the budget for 4 years. Well, of course he did. States are not allowed to engage in deficit spending. Only the feds can do that. Perdue, like many politicians in the past, said he would eliminate the state's income tax. I'd love that because I hate filling out the stupid form. (Divide the amount on line 7j -the mean of lines 9y and 16j by the square root of the number of dogs under your porch.) Tennessee is often used as an example of a state doing well without a state income tax. But, Tennessee has a sales tax of 7% whereas in Georgia it's 4%. The government is going to get your money one way or the other.

It's NBC.....one of the top Fake New sellers. Why would anyone believe this? I have no real idea who will win. Kemp seems like a guy working to prevent the truth about voting fraud from coming out. That sounds bad, but being many states away - the story may look very different from how it looks to folks in Georgia.

Trump's vendetta against Gov. Brian Kemp is doing more harm than good. Most people believe his last intervention in Georgia cost the Republicans the majority in Senate. The Democrats sold the idea that "orange man bad" to the public. His actions are making people believe the Democrats are correct.
Trump would do well to stop complaining about the past and present a positive plan for the future.
