The Yale study concluded that the risk of COVID-19 reinfection stands at 5% at three months after recovery and decreases to 50% at 17 months. By contrast, COVID-19 vaccine protection against infection can wane to a mere 20% as early as five months after full vaccination. On Sunday, KGVO reported that a 19-year-old man “on a worldwide trip from Afghanistan” was arrested and charged with having “sexual intercourse without consent” with an 18-year-old woman at a Residence Inn by Marriott in downtown Missoula, Montana.
According to KGVO and recent statements from Montana Governor Greg Gianforte, the suspect, Zabihullah Muhmand, wasn’t simply a world traveler. He was “in Montana under Humanitarian Parole, which is separate from the Special Immigrant Visa program.” In other words, Muhmand, the accused rapist, was an unvetted Afghan evacuee placed in Montana by the Biden administration.

Ersie Joyner, an officer who retired in 2019 after 28 years of service, was pumping gas when three people in hooded sweatshirts and face masks tried to rob him. Surveillance video shows the three individuals grab Joyner and try to take his belongings. The legislative proposals include the provision of reemployment assistance to people who are fired due to failure to comply with an employer’s vaccine mandate. Some conservative Indiana lawmakers wanting to stymie President Joe Biden’s planned COVID-19 vaccine mandates for private employers are facing skepticism from their own Republican leaders and the state’s largest business group.
While Biden has promised federal vaccination-or-testing regulations for all companies with 100 or more workers, bills are planned by some Indiana legislators who want to join other Republican-led states in trying to prohibit private companies from requiring vaccine shots.

I’m not sure who thought this was a good idea. But even within the friendly confines of CNN, it was a complete train wreck — even by Biden standards.
Naturally, most of the questions from folks in the audience were Democrats or softball questions. But there were some highlights and it was disastrous.
