The “Let’s Go Brandon” (code for “F*** Joe Biden”) phenomenon has been a fascinating trend to watch unfold in recent weeks, and on Thursday, it officially made its way to the floor of the U.S. House. During a floor speech railing against President Biden’s “Build Back Better” plan, Rep. Bill Posey (R-Fla.) began by stating that “the President’s theme ‘Build Back Better’ just can’t pass the straight-face test.” “In reality,” he suggested, “it’s like a ‘Demolish America Faster’ agenda. “If you really think it builds America back better,” he continued, “your view of America is different than most of the people I know.”

Unvaccinated Americans are more likely to die of non-Covid causes than those who got their shots, a new report finds. Researchers from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) compared deaths among those aged 12 and older who got any of the three authorized vaccines in the U.S. to teens and adults who did not. Deaths due to causes unrelated to the virus were up to three times more likely in unvaccinated people than those who got either the Pfizer or Moderna Covid vaccines. To their dismay, the Yale School of Public Health just concluded that immunity acquired by COVID-19 infection lasts three times longer and is stronger than that provided by vaccination. Naturally, the Yale Daily News downplayed the info under the headline, “COVID-19 reinfection is likely among unvaccinated individuals, Yale study finds.” The Yale study concluded that the risk of COVID-19 reinfection stands at 5% at three months after recovery and decreases to 50% at 17 months. By contrast, COVID-19 vaccine protection against infection can wane to a mere 20% as early as five months after full vaccination. As one might expect from a Democrat, President Biden isn’t afraid to work blue. Politico reported Thursday that Biden—once caught on a hot mic calling the passage of ObamaCare a “big [expletive] deal”—regularly uses profanity in meetings with West Wing aides, displaying a particular fondness for “[expletive].” Variations on the theme, according to the outlet’s West Wing Playbook email newsletter, include the phrases “[expletive] them,” “What the [expletive] are we doing?” and “Why the [expletive] isn’t this happening?”(Snip)That may be news to Vice President Kamala Harris, who told NowThis News in 2019 that her favorite curse word “starts with an ‘m’ and it ends with ‘ah.’

Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-The Moon) made the Democratic position clear Thursday: If you’re not with us, you’re terrorists. During his opening statement for the Attorney General Merrick Garland hearing, Nadler said there was no difference between the rioters who stormed the Capitol on January 6 and parents who are angry about what is being taught in schools. “This growth in extremist ideology is echoed in an epidemic of violence and intimidation directed at our health care professionals, teachers, essential workers, school board members and election workers,” Nadler said.

Last night, CNN held an invitation-only “town hall” for Biden in Baltimore. The audience was beyond friendly, the questions were obviously vetted, and Anderson Cooper was there to hold Biden’s hand. And still, as the RNC’s Twitter feed reveals, Biden repeatedly showcased his weirdness, incipient dementia, inability to lead, and sheer heartlessness. No wonder only 27% of likely voters are confident that Brandon...er, Biden is up to the job. (snip) At one point, Biden spoke out loud what everyone else was thinking: “What am I doing here?” he asked. He was trying to remember “Long Beach,” a name that should be at the forefront of his brain

Some conservative Indiana lawmakers wanting to stymie President Joe Biden’s planned COVID-19 vaccine mandates for private employers are facing skepticism from their own Republican leaders and the state’s largest business group. While Biden has promised federal vaccination-or-testing regulations for all companies with 100 or more workers, bills are planned by some Indiana legislators who want to join other Republican-led states in trying to prohibit private companies from requiring vaccine shots. Supporters of that action are already preparing to raise the issue again when the new Indiana legislative session starts in January, even though similar bills failed during the 2021 session.

White House advisers were forced to 'clarify' a comment by Joe Biden that the US would defend Taiwan in the event of an attack by China, in breach of a longstanding policy that states otherwise. 'Yes,' he responded when asked in a CNN town hall about defending Taiwan. 'We have a commitment to that.'Biden's statement was at odds with the long-held US policy known as 'strategic ambiguity,' where Washington helps build Taiwan's defenses but does not explicitly promise to come to the island's help in the event of an attack. After Thursday's town hall, a White House spokesperson was forced to clarify the president's position,

The school board association responsible for comparing parents to “domestic terrorists” reportedly collaborated with President Joe Biden’s White House before publishing its letter calling for federal assistance in dealing with concerned parents. Emails obtained by Parents Defending Education, a concerned parents organization, uncovered that the CEO of the National School Board Association (NSBA)

Meghan Markle called on Congress to pass a federal paid parental leave program Wednesday in an open letter in which the Duchess of Sussex said she “grew up on the $4.99 salad bar at Sizzler.” In the letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), the Los Angeles-born Markle said the COVID-19 pandemic had “exposed long-existing fault lines in our communities.” “At an alarming rate, millions of women dropped out of the workforce, staying home with their kids as schools and daycares were closed, and looking after loved ones full-time,” she wrote.

Preliminarily, it is tragic that 42-year-old Halyna Hutchins, a rising cinematographer in Hollywood, died yesterday on the set of Rust, a movie being filmed in Santa Fe, New Mexico. My thoughts are with the loved ones she left behind. Having said that, I cannot escape a feeling that karma had a hand in this one because the finger on the trigger of the gun that killed Hutchins belonged to Alec Baldwin, a hysterical leftist who is fanatically opposed to the Second Amendment. To give a sense of Baldwin’s hostility to gun rights, in 2018, the smug and constitutionally illiterate Baldwin had some harsh words for Dana Loesch, an NRA spokeswoman

President Biden has granted one-fifth as many interviews as Donald Trump, one-eighth as many as Barack Obama and half as many as a nearly assassinated Ronald Reagan did at this point in their presidencies, data shared with The Post reveal as reporters fume about limited access. Biden’s Thursday night CNN town hall will bring him to 16 interviews total — versus 82 by Trump, 131 by Obama and 32 by Reagan, according to data compiled by presidential historian Martha Kumar. The lack of interviews comes amid plummeting Biden approval figures following the chaotic US troop withdrawal from Afghanistan and a resurgence of the COVID-19 pandemic —

Proof of vaccination against seasonal influenza will be required to work or attend classes at Johns Hopkins University on any of its Baltimore or D.C. area campuses. The institution’s website states the policy was created in response to the COVID-19 pandemic in the interest of ensuring the safety of the school community and surrounding communities. “Having as many students, faculty, and staff as possible vaccinated for both COVID-19 and the flu, in conjunction with other health and hygiene policies, is vital to the safety of our community,” the university website states.(Snip)This year, other schools, such as the University of Miami are joining Johns Hopkins in following suit.

Somehow, someone made the decision to let Joe Biden out and to go to a CNN town hall. I’m not sure who thought this was a good idea. But even within the friendly confines of CNN, it was a complete train wreck — even by Biden standards. Naturally, most of the questions from folks in the audience were Democrats or softball questions. But there were some highlights and it was disastrous. Let’s start with the creepiness and the incoherence. Here’s Joe Biden claiming that top corporations “don’t pay a cent” in taxes with that creepy stage whisper voice.
