If you thought the presidential election was already too hot and too nasty, brace yourself. You ain’t seen nothing yet. The mourning for Ruth Bader Ginsburg had barely started when the first political shots were fired. At 7:51 pm, about 15 minutes after news broke of her death, Sen. Chuck Schumer tweeted his demand that “this vacancy should not be filled until we have a new president.”So much for rest in peace.
There’s no surprise in Schumer’s position or his desire to get out in front of the issue, but neither carries much weight. The decision about whether to try to fill the court’s vacancy is up to Republicans.

A recently leaked phone call between then-Vice President Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko directly after the 2016 presidential election shows that Biden sought to sabotage the incoming Trump administration before Donald Trump even took office, and much worse.
During the course of the call, Biden badmouthed the incoming administration, saying, “The truth of the matter is that the incoming administration doesn’t know a great deal about [Ukraine]” and that they were unprepared for the transition. This in itself is inappropriate, but it was meant to set the stage for Biden’s next statement and future plans.

A Joe Biden town hall does not hit the Pinocchio meter as much as a Donald Trump town hall. Biden tends to stick close to the facts but occasionally gets carried away with some over-exuberance. While Biden's performance has received praise for his ability to display empathy towards Pennsylvania voters selected to ask questions, what has been described as the "softball" treatment of the former VP by CNN was widely panned on Thursday night, especially following the grilling President Trump faced at the ABC News town hall on Tuesday.

The CDC has had more prominence this year than usual, thanks to the Wuhan virus. However, when America looked to it for help, it wasn't ready, whether with tests or useful advice. Its lack of preparedness might have been because the CDC's been expending its time and your money training its people in Critical Race Theory (CRT) rather than disease control.
