Hollywood actor Jim Caviezel went on with Shannon Bream on FOX @ Night to discuss his latest movie Infidel that explores Christian persecution in the Middle East.
Infidel will hit theaters across the country this weekend.(Photo) During the interview Caviezel went off on the milk toast Christian leaders who are silent in this age of Cancel Culture and who say nothing as politicians shut down churches but open liquor stores and abortion clinics.Jim Caviezel says the Gospels are “very much alive today.”He went on to say “it’s a bloody shame” that you cannot tell the difference between priests, bishops and politicians. This was a POWERFUL WITNESS to Christ.

If you could somehow watch Jim Caviezel's interview on Newsmax TV you would be blessed and uplifted. When my cable carrier dumped all the channels I used to watch (to keep from having to watch the big 3, er 4) they let us get Newsmax TV. It is what FOX once claimed to be.

Caviezel is so right about Church leaders just rolling over. There have been several Pastors on FOX in the last few months who've made the case for re-opening Churches and pointing out that the gvt is supressing religious worship, but then we also have flat out batshit crazy Pope who is just as lost as Joe Biden. Pope Francis should be RAILING every day about how politicians are using fear to suppress worship but all we get from him is crickets. I do so miss Pope John, my faith misses a leader like him.

Love it. Jim is a true believer and is standing up for Jesus! What a witness! Am looking forward to the movie.

I love him even more now! If I didn't have to wear a mask, I would venture into a movie theater for that one.
I'm sure he is disgusted by California pastors. I know a church that has already announced they will stay shut down at least until 2021!
I just sent the link to my Iranian friends, who are believers.

One thing that has become crystal clear, FOX News is fast circling the bowl and leaving skid marks.

He's giving church leaders too much credit.
Many are essentially infiltrators with their own progressive agendas. GOD is the last thing on their minds
The head of the religion department in my college (1980, roughly) did not believe in God. He was a Marxist, and would not graduate any religious major to seminary, unless they convinced him they believed as he did. This was a Lutheran College, you understand. But he was the Head of Department, and had tenure, so they couldn't do anything, they said.

Forgive the second post. I just discovered that masks are not required while eating or drinking, so we will get a big tub of popcorn and eat slowly.

Bad headline. There was no rolling of the eyes. Shannon gave Jim all the time he needed to get his message out. Shannon did not downplay anything. She was very polite throughout. At the end of the interview Jim showed his dismay, not at Shannon, but regarding the situation in our country right now and the film.
Jim Caviezal is a rarity in Hollywood and a fine actor.

Shannon Bream did NOT downplay Caviezel's stand of faith. And he did NOT roll his eyes. What's with this article's ridiculous title?

Agree with #11; I didn't see an eye roll from Shannon Bream.
Jim Cavaziel is right about pastors. Most of them are what the Bible describes as false teachers. Many TV ministries are led by men and women who've become wealthy on the backs of those who "believing for a miracle" donate hard earned money to these charlatans. Case in point Joel Osteen, Kenneth Copeland, Jesse DuPlantis. These people have multiple homes, cars, boats, planes. They give people false hope. Too many ministries are built totally around the prosperity gospel and give short shrift the rest of scripture and the Lord's teachings.
They want to be popular with "the world" rather than with God. They deem themselves successful based on the size of their churches rather than how many people they have helped or led to the Lord. At the end of the day they'd sell their congregations down the river to save themselves. Look up Clergy Response Teams. Many pastors have succumbed to the SJW set.
They will be judged harshly when the Time comes, I'm sure.

Poster #6, you are so right. You have to be an evil somebody to infiltrate a legitimately Christian organization to destroy it. It's like fake Republicans running the Republican party. Only to destroy it. It's like what leftists did to the Ivy League colleges created to train Christian men. They completely took them over. Leftists can't build, so they steal and then they kill and destroy everything they touch.

Great interview! Great defense of the Christian faith! I'd love to see this movie, if only Herr Newsom would allow movie theaters to open. But alas, the "king" is about to put the San Diego area back in lockdown on Tuesday.
MAGA!!! KAG!!! TRUMPS 2020 AND BEYOND! Caviezel was passionate and right! OPEN UP! OPEN UP! OPEN UP!

Terrible headline designed to appeal to the Fox News haters. I watched the clip. Shannon Bream did not downplay Jim Caviezel's faith and he did not roll his eyes. Headline writer needs to be disciplined or Gateway Pundit needs to stop focusing on click bait.

#6, the term you are looking for is Churchian. Those Churchians follow the world and worldly trends vs obeying and standing strong in God's corner. There is a major sifting of wheat and chaff coming, and these Churchians are going to be blowing like chaff in the wind. Bream is minion and Bot, and she is another who isn't worth watching anymore. Only one worth watching besides Gutfeld and Dobbs is Tucker.

OK, when Jim says, "It wasn't some candyass Christian, stupid film..." that's when Shannon blinks, shifts position, and smugly smiles. He's definitely on fire in this interview.
I agree with Jim in that 95% of modern "Christian" movies go on for 90 minutes and never once give the gospel of Jesus Christ. A total injustice to unbelievers and Jesus Christ in my opinion. Muslims can't get their heads around the Holy Trinity of God, and neither can Orthodox Jews for that matter.
Jim is an amazing actor who has put his entire career in Hollyweird at risk for his faith in making these films. Until recently, I didn't realize how many Christian films he's made, since portraying Jesus in the "The Passion of the Christ." By the way, that film was re-edited by Mel Gibson in 2005 to remove 5 minutes of the most violent part of the movie.

My guess is that Hollywood deep down really hates Jim Caviezel as he speaks the truth about the sheep that are the cancel culture. He is also right about the blurring of the leaders of faith and politicians. One can only do what one thinks is correct. And ignore those who think they know better, will let you know and tell you that don't forget it that they know it all. And we now know that the tragedy of the holocaust is not being taught to skulls full of mush. History is repeating itself again to our ultimate detriment.

He did give a sideways glance at the end of the interview. My guess is he felt so strongly about what he is talking about and he KNOWS what is coming to Christians
