Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the demure firebrand who in her 80s became a legal, cultural, and feminist icon has died. The Supreme Court announced her death, saying the cause was complications from cancer.
Architect of the legal fight for women's rights in the 1970s, Ginsburg subsequently served 27 years on the nation's highest court, becoming its most prominent member. Her death will inevitably set in motion what promises to be a nasty and tumultuous political battle over who will succeed her, and it thrusts the Supreme Court vacancy into the spotlight of the presidential campaign.

It's horrible, all I could think of was Trump's election prospects. But hey RIP, sorry for the family's loss, even though I bet she died a month ago.

Thank you God for your many blessings by opening up a seat on the Supreme Court for Trump to fill before the election. So did she die of pancreatic cancer or was it also corona virus connected? Whatever.

Ruthie's big mistake was not retiring while Obama was POTUS. Plenty of liberals dropped hints which she ignored. Despite her best efforts, she wasn't able to outlive the Trump presidency.

"Champion of Gender Equality" is the propaganda hack Nina Totenberg referring to Ginsberg's fanatical stand on abortion, where babies are slaughtered regardless of gender?

This means that as long as the SC has 8 Justices it will harder for Roberts to be the swing vote to decide the respective case against President Trump (in the cases where his blackmailers - every so often - instruct him).

Although I have been expecting her death for several years it still comes as a little shock when you first hear the news. She sacrificed years of retirement and time with her family for the liberal cause. I wonder, if now, she thinks it was worth it.

Vile evil person that loved the idea of state sponcered murder. She also hated the first amendment. It is appropriated tha she was nominated by the immoral reprobate Clinton. It is a condemnation of the Senate she was approved her appointment. But hey, what else will RINOS do? Regardless, I'm sure her family grieves as do the hardore lesbians, men hating women and the atheist that want to eliminate religion (only Christianity, Muzzies are cool cause they will kill infidels so no need to upset them). I know millions die every day and its a tragedy to their loved ones. However, deaths of pure evil happen only once in a while (like Hitler, Mao, Stalin). She hasn't a single noteworthy SCOTUS opinion. But her votes made sure millions continued to die under the protection of the US Goobernment. I'm sure since our country (goobernment and Kneepad Media) celebrates evil she will be lionized for the next 60 or so days (gotta keep the American voters occupied instead of presenting facts). Its sad our country has come to this. But the Dems and Kneepads will try to muddy the waters with her near deity status to harm this country and the election results.

I normally refrain from speakng ill of the dead; however, after the way Dimmocrats have behaved the past twelve years, the gloves are off. Good riddance. She will NOT be missed. She was a lousy lawyer, and a lousy justice.

I didn't like her politics but she was a force to be reckoned with. She was tireless and did what she thought was best even though most of us here didn't agree.
She died with her boots on, which is a lot more than most of us will be able to do. May she rest in peace.

"Gender equality"...except in the womb. Then it was a free-for-all, especially for babies of a certain skin color.
Sometimes, I really hate my own kind (women.)

She was for "gender equality" for the unborn -- they were slaughtered before birth in equal numbers, male and female, thanks to her.

Tireless, #31? She slept through most of the SCOTUS cases over the last 10 years.
#14, don’t bet against Trump. He can nominate someone today and Mitch can ram it through well before the election. The president has every right and a constitutional obligation to do just that.
