Joe Biden has one major goal when it comes to the presidential debates: Don’t let President Trump get away with a single thing. Aides and allies to Biden say the Democratic nominee needs to be ready to fact check Trump in real time and not let the president get away with exaggerating or distorting his record. And they say he needs to aggressively hold him accountable when the candidates meet on state Sept. 29 in Cleveland. (Snip) There is a palpable fear among some Democrats about whether Biden is up for the challenge, and whether being too aggressive could backfire.

Drug test both candidates. And check for ear pieces. Sell popcorn to eliminate the national debt. Should be able to wipe it out by the third debate.

The only way sundown Joe goes after the President is getting down on his knees like a chihuahua and gnawing at the Donald's ankles.

Make sure 'Good Old Joe' is facing the right way, has his ear piece, teleprompter, and prescription questions, IN ORDER, and doesn't forget his pants.

I'm really beginning to think spell-check has internal programming to confuse certain words. I triple checked my post, and the word 'prescription' was very clearly, 'pre-scripted', before I hit the send button.

Sniffer Joe will be decimated by the President in the first ten minutes. Joe will have to be so juiced up on his meds he'll come out bobbing his head like a boxer or when he entered the stage with his I-phone playing Mexican music.
The debate or debates will be a joke and will only gain more votes for Trump or no votes for Biden.

Knowing Joes 'fantastic' memory, that strategy will last all of 8 seconds...why 8 you ask...
Well it will take Joe 7 seconds to know he's supposed to speak, the in 1 second he'll forget what he was supposed to say...Game OVER!

If Sleepy Uncle Joe even SHOWS UP at the debates, it will be considered a win. If he doesn't shuffle onto the stage and drool from his lips, Katie bar the door, the election is over.
NOT. I expect President Trump to handle himself well. Maybe he needs to break out that line from President Reagan back in the 80s, "Well, there you go again."

Biden's plan for economic recovery will rely heavily on pelletized chicken manure. Here's the proof:

Biden need not worry about fact check. The useless Chris Wallace will make up more than enough "facts" to help him out.
Biden's record needs no distortion. Endless corruption, and being on the wrong side of every issue and decision. Plus eight year association with the worst president in American history.

There will be no debate, the day before Joe will be exposed to Kung flu and have to do it on Zoom from basement.
If they want to fact check, fact check the questions first.

FTA "A Biden cogent performance should be a win, period.” This speaks volumes.
This article dances around the real issue - Biden as part of a Bait 'n Switch scam. A little history:
1. Many in the Democrat rank & file are as sick of the Uniparty as those of us here. We purged a lot of the losers and had Donald Trump to send into the ring. For 2020 they only had a Communist.
2. Say what you will about him, Bernie was the only conviction politician running in the Democrat Primaries and as such was on track to the nomination. This was intolerable to the Uniparty - recall the panic, especially that of the political vandal James Carville, so they used blacks (again) in SC to give the corpse momentum and the MSM on cue began declaring Biden the nominee.
3. Now that they had a "respectable" face (what a low bar!) for the nomination, the VP pick became the real primary and Heels Up was selected to advance Marxism in the United States.
4. The problem now is to keep the corpse going long enough to get over the goal line. The debate presents a major problem, major! Notice the assertions made in this article that Trump is responsible for the economic slowdown and nursing home deaths in NY - they have nothing and they're pushing a mental invalid out onto the stage to make their case with...nothing. I predict record ratings for this debacle/debate, which spells disaster for the Democrats. He will be a string mop in Donald's hands. A pitying approach by DJT, played right, would be devastating.

I keep seeing the tin foil theory that Biden and his feeble behavior is all an act and he is laying a trap for Trump. I doubt it. You cannot fake that blank expression he is powerless to hide. Then there is the very interesting point Rush raised this week about the subject of Sundowning. Why aren't we seeing Biden in the evening? Sundowning is very real and anyone who has watched a loved one go through dementia knows exactly what I am referring to.

Biden readies 'to go after Trump'....ha ha ha...If I had a cup of coffee in my hand I'd be wiping it off the computer display...this is so funny I might laugh the rest of the day until gropin' Joe's handlers come up with something new...that's like sending a chipmunk to attack a Lion....

Sorry for the second post, but just had to pass on 'Mountain Mean', which is what Trump is gonna do to Joe...taken from a song by the same name by Mike Cross...little trucker gets attacked by 3 big guys in a diner...pours salt on his pie, milk on his head and walk out laughing...trucker finishes his pie and and walks out. Couple guys say 'he ain't much of a man to let them guys do that to him', and the waiter says 'yea,.and he ain't much of a truck driver, he just ran over 3 guys in the parking lot'...

Biden will be "going after Trump". Yeah, right.
Kinda like a Biden snake going after a Trump mongoose. Far faster, far more agile, and little doubt about the outcome.

Agree with others here.
'Something' at the last minute, will prevent Joe's 'participation'. Virus exposure, testing positive for hives, twisted ankle, it will be something.
Also, does anyone else get the feeling the the 'guiding hands' for Joe leading up to this election have NEVER ACTUALLY dealt, first hand, with someone having dementia of some type ?
One almost gets the idea that the thought process is - Joe's doing pretty good today so he should be OK for the first debate tomorrow.
There is no realization that the frequency and timing of 'bad days / or bad hours' cannot be predicted.
Yes I have first hand experience with this - an affliction I would not wish on anyone.
I don't know what drug(s) may be being used but from my experience -
Joe could be just fine, sharp as he ever was at 5:15 PM and by 7:00 unable to complete a sentence, let alone a coherent thought.
Letting him on stage could be a live broadcast disaster. It's a crap shoot and I can't believe none of the 'handlers' knows or sees this and intend to go through with the debate(s).

One concern I have is that Biden does SOOOO BADLY in the first debate that his handlers decide they need to cut their losses. Assuming they can take care of Dr Mrs Joe Biden (who I understand is a real piece of work as well), then they have to flip Horizontal Harris to the top of the ticket.
I want Biden to fail in the debate but only enough to keep him at the top of the ticket. After the second or third debate, I don't think they can pull the old switcheroo. But I've been wrong before.

Trump needs to be careful not to be perceived of taking advantage of Joe's diminished mental ability due to his early stage Alzheimers. Let Joe make a fool out of himself without pummeling him when he's against the ropes. Trump needs to stick to the facts and play up his many accomplishments without personally attacking his frail opponent. We all know that Chris Wallace won't ask Biden about his dealing with China, or his quid pro quo when dealing with the Ukrainians. Let's hope the President does.

President Trump should borrow from Reagan, at the perfect moment, with: it smells funny in here. Oh, there you go again!
