Ghislaine Maxwell is expected to be transferred early this week to the Southern District of New York for her upcoming court appearance, according to a new letter filed by federal prosecutors on Sunday night. Maxwell, 58, is currently at the Merrimack County Jail, a medium-security facility 20 miles from the luxurious home where she was arrested Thursday in New Hampshire. Federal prosecutors consulted with Maxwell’s attorneys and both want the arraignment and bail hearing to take place on Friday, according to the letter addressed to Judge Alison J. Nathan.

Well, it looks like the makeover has begun. Corrupt Joe Biden, who used his office to enrich himself and his family, to say the least, is now the foreign policy maven, particularly on China. That's the spin from the New York Times, which has beclowned itself badly, trying to tell the audience that something smelly is shinola. To voters unsettled by President Trump’s disruptive approach to the world, Mr. Biden is selling not only his policy prescriptions but also his long track record of befriending, cajoling and sometimes confronting foreign leaders — what he might call the power of his informal diplomatic style. “I’ve dealt with every

In an impassioned press conference Sunday night, Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms issued a full-throated call for citizens to stop "shooting each other up on our streets," after an eight-year-old girl was shot and killed on the Fourth of July near a Wendy's that has become a flashpoint of anti-police Black Lives Matter (BLM) protests in the city. Bottoms, a Democrat who is considered a potential running mate for Joe Biden, made the remarks as she fought through tears -- and the nation endured a new bout of urban carnage.

The house was purchased for $1 million in cash through a shell company in December 2019. In the same month, Reuters reported that Maxwell was a target in the FBI’s investigation of people who ‘facilitated’ Epstein’s sexual crimes. Meanwhile, her location became the subject of international speculation. It now appears that the FBI knew exactly where she was. On Thursday, the FBI’s New York Assistant Director, William Sweeney admitted that ‘an eye was being kept and information was being collected’ for months:

The American Academy of Pediatrics has released a needed opinion that is strongly in favor of getting children back to school this fall. It’s just what the nation needs right now in times that seem anything but normal. “The AAP,” the group’s statement reads, “strongly advocates that all policy considerations for the coming school year should start with a goal of having students physically present in school.“ “Schools are fundamental to child and adolescent development and well-being,” AAP’s statement points out. They “provide our children and adolescents with academic instruction, social and emotional skills, safety, reliable nutrition, physical/speech and mental health therapy, and opportunities for physical activity, among other benefits.”

It shouldn’t have to get to this point, but here it goes: We need a written pledge to protect our statues and monuments. That is, a written document for politicians to sign, if they wish, pledging to protect public order and the dignity of our society.Yes, of course, desecration and destruction are already illegal, but as we know, many elected officials have chosen to turn a blind eye — or, in some cases, have actively supported — vandalism of statues and monuments. For the most part, these officials have been local officials, such as sitting mayors. And yet lately, higher officials in the Democratic Party have started to express

Beneath the granite faces carved into the Black Hills of South Dakota, he spoke of building up the country, not tearing it down.
