During the evening of July 4, retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn shared a video of himself leading five other people in a recitation of the oath of office traditionally given to federal elected officeholders, ending the oath with a slogan associated with the QAnon conspiracy theory.Flynn, the former national security adviser for President Trump who recently won a major court victory when an appeals court ordered a judge to grant the Justice Department’s motion to dismiss its case against him, posted the Independence Day video of himself on Twitter reading the oath of office off of a cellphone as three women and two men,

FTA: ~~"Flynn and the others ended the short video by quoting a popular QAnon slogan — “Where we go one, we go all!” — after which they said, “God bless America.” Sidney Powell, a former federal prosecutor who took over Flynn's defense last year, denied that her client's video had anything to do with QAnon. “The slogan comes from an engraved bell on JFK'S sailboat — acknowledging the unity of mankind. I don’t know what to think about Q. As a Constitutional conservative, I hope it’s true. I really do. But, even if it’s not, it sure is fun to see the left’s reaction to it. It’s about time we had our own psy-ops.

Oh, HORROR of horrors....crazy people out there pledging to uphold the Constitution.

How.....patriotic. How normal. How proper. How WONDERFUL!
Wash Examiner is frequently a NeverTrumper publication. If you read long enough, this article, despite it's snarky, disapproving tone, does fairly well cover all the bases reasonably accurately.

These people are attuned to the wildest assortment of dog whistles.
The OK sign that has been in common use for ? decades? Centuries? This silliness. Does it ever stop? Only when the media ignores it.

If it is associated with QAnon, it is because they adopted it from JFK’s bell. An interesting source. He probably adopted it from somewhere else. Often the case with “sayings”.
The media and the TDS crowd (now there’s a cult if I ever saw one) spends its time trying to hang people with their words. This was simply a matter of some NYT reporter (we know they lead the pack) Googling the saying and Google obliged by providing the QAnon connection. Clever? How they all work to support each other.

The Washington Examiner walks a very fine political line. Sometimes its slip shows. Didn’t someone here say that it was owned by a NeverTrumper?

The thing to remember about craziness is that it never stops. There is no arguing with it or trying to refute it with facts and logic. And right now the Never Trumpers, Democrats, enemedia and all their collaborators have dialed up their craziness knob to eleventy.

Confirmation that any expression of patriotism is now interpreted as an indicator of white supremacy.

#7, when The Weekly Standard went belly up, it morphed into The Washington Examiner. It’s still William Kristol and friends and still very much Never Trumper.

Philip Anschutz’s company owns the Examiner. Here is the guy who’s running it. Have seen him on Fox. A Brit. I have not considered him to be a Trump fan. We do find Byron York and other lean conservative writers at the Examiner. Edgewalking the fair and balanced thing?

This article sounds a little too ''jock table in the high school cafeteria'' to me. That's the sociological equivalent of Mean Girls. Or maybe the prayer of elites, ''Lord bless us four and no more, Amen''
