Manhattan—A woman involved in a racist incident in Central Park in May is being charged with falsely reporting the incident, the Manhattan district attorney said on Monday. Amy Cooper, who has since been dubbed “Central Park Karen,” was issued a desk appearance ticket for an arraignment on Oct. 14.
“Today our office initiated a prosecution of Amy Cooper for falsely reporting an incident in the third degree. Our office will provide the public with additional information as the case proceeds," Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance said in a statement.(Snip) Cooper was caught on camera falsely accusing a Black man of threatening her life

NYC is literally on fire as shootings spiral out of control and this is where they focus their effort.

If (a big if) this report is factual and comprehensive, it seems to me this woman filed a false police complaint with malice aforethought.

Good for Cy Vance, he knows when to go after the important cases! Meanwhile, NYC has gone back to the Dinkins days...even worse. but he'll nail Amy Cooper good! She's a real threat to the city.

She's definitely an annoying, self-important Karen, so it feels a bit satisfying to see her getting her comeuppance. However, the guy filming her was also a Karen (or male equiv) for being so insistent that she leash her dog, which was harming or threatening no one. His threat to treat the dog with something Karen wouldn't like was as threateningly superior as were her threats--until she actually followed through with her cell phone call.

In my very best "Archer" voice: Are we not doing sarcasm tags anymore /s?
As we all discussed as this rolled out last time, she took the troll bait and now is being persecuted for it. Her crime? Using the work "Black" to describe the person tormenting her. I would think a factual description was it's own defense but she has to PAY for it, as the agitator walks away happy and free.

Finally some action! Will this spur NY on to prosecute Ms. Maxwell to the fullest extent of the law, to name names so we can pull the plug on ALL the perverse friends of Epstein? JUSTICE!

Another upshot of this incident may be White Americans' pets are being targeted.
There have been several examples of violence and threats to animals since the Central Park confrontation. I'm not keeping URL's on these stories, there have been enough to raise questions. Just the other day in Canada, don't watch --

As stupid as this "Karen" was, I would put that fairly low on the list of "crimes" that need to be solved and prosecuted by the Manhattan DA.
But then again, he is working more on "thought crimes" than actual physical crimes. You know, like how the state persecuted their arch-enemy, Goldstein, in Orwell's 1984. But in Biden's 2020, it's Trump who is the arch-enemy. Even though years ago, many of them took the trip to Trump's Manhattan office to try and get a campaign contribution or other payola from him.

Don’t watch #8a link. Even he warned you. I was so disturbed by it (saw it on a fb story over the weekend) I googled to see how the poor doggy was. He’s fine from what animal control says. The kicker is that neither chick wanted to press charges when the police showed up but public outcry was so big they are investigating charges of animal cruelty. If I see someone doing that to any animal, lead is coming their way.

NYC has failed to charge or keep in jail hundreds who committed violence against the city and citizens but it finds it necessary to pile on this 'Karen' who already lost her job and quite possibly chances of future employment over an interaction with a black gay troll in Central Park. Really!

A bLACK gay activist "bird watcher" loitering in the Central Park Ramble, AKA The Fruited Plain (a longtime cruising spot for homosexual men seeking anonymous sex), implied that he was about to poison a high-strung liberal woman's dog by feeding it something and she's not going to like it. She's been fired from her job, but now also faces what sure looks like a racially target malicious prosecution. USA 2020, fundamentally transformed.
