CNN has determined that “master bedroom” carries racist connotations, as do several other commonly used terms and phrases, including “blacklist,” “cakewalk,” and the “peanut gallery.” The English language is fraught with words and phrases that carry racist connotations, (Snip) both of whom presented the problematic terms in a piece published Monday. Many of the phrases used are “so entrenched that Americans don’t think twice about using them,”(Snip) are directly rooted in the nation’s history with chattel slavery. Others now evoke racist notions about Black people,” they wrote, concluding that America’s “reckoning with systemic racism” is “forcing a more critical look at the language we use.”

Per OP, If I were black, this condescending 'wokeness' from white SJWs would be embarrassing. What's next to go?...black-hearted, blackmail, blackguard, black deeds, etc., etc. These people must spend all their waking hours looking for (and hoping to find) something to be offended by.

Being offended is a choice. You know what the end result of this will be? Whites will avoid interactions with blacks just to avoid any possibility of confrontation over stupid stuff. I realized this week that I have been purposely avoiding anyone of color for exactly that reason. Im even avoiding my neighbors, whom I love to death because I just dont want to have any conversations about the current stupidty. Even avoiding that conversation, its still the 800 lb gorilla in the room. Oh wait.....was that racist? Stop......just stop!

Change the name from Master Bedroom to Slaves quarters. Would that make them happy? Or we could stop calling them bedrooms, after all we don't call the kitchen the stove room, or the living room as a couch room, so maybe we should call the bed room a sleep room. I'm sure we can come up with something that would make the ten persent of black people happy. After all they should be the rulers, if you don't believe me "Ask Them."
