A liberal-leaning group and individuals are using social media to encourage Trump opponents to reserve tickets for the president's upcoming reelection rally in Portsmouth, N.H., in an attempt to make the venue appear empty. "Get your tickets and don't go," one Twitter user wrote Monday.(Snip)"If you have two minutes of your day to troll the president....Reserve two tickets and laugh knowing that’s two seats not filled," another person tweeted about the New Hampshire rally.(Snip)A liberal Facebook group called Blue Revolution, which has more than 60,000 members, posted the RSVP link for Trump's rally scheduled for Saturday and encouraged its members to reserve spots.

Charge $20 per ticket, validate the tickets when the rally is over, and give a $20 refund to anyone who mails in a validated ticket. As for those who don't show up, the money will go to Trump's Presidential campaign.

I wonder if these morons understand that two can play this game. If Dementia Joe ever emerges from his basement hold a rally, Conservatives can pull the same stunt and leave his rally empty, not that many people would be going anyway.
And I love the idea of charging $20 for admission and letting people know that unused tickets would be considered a donation to President Trump's reelection campaign. That, in itself would kill the efforts of the college kids, since most of them are notoriously cheap!!

If old Joe ever holds a rally, I say pack it with Trump supporters who will shut the event down.

I have attended three (3) Trump Rallies and each time I "reserved" and downloaded a ticket for the venue. When I got there it was first come/first served until the venue was filled to capacity and the ticket wasn't looked at, scanned or collected. You went through the security screening and found a seat, or stood in the area of the stage if you wanted to be close. The overflow who got to the venue too late to get in could watch on the jumbotron screens outdoors. Something doesn't smell quite right about these stories of liberals not showing up on purpose

If we're counting brains ALL of them could show up and the venue would be totally empty!

Each ticket should be billed on a credit card for $100, IF you show you get a refund...it's free, if you don't you pay...The tightwad Libs (with their own money) would NEVER pony up!

Why not charge $25 for each ticket and make it refundable at the door? I don’t mean having the money there but to enable the ticket-holder who shows up and sits down for the whole event to get his money back electronically.

The silver lining is they just wiped out any argument they ever had in favor of vote by mail. Thats if the republicans have the spine to oppose it.

First come first served is better. The things liberals do is unfortunate. Peel their skin and EVIL comes out.

Boy are these clueless idiots going to be surprised in November when all those people show up to vote for Trump. One can't purchased tickets to an event on election day and not show up. There are more of us than them.

Make the person pay $3 or $5 for a ticket and this ends. No Trump supporter will be bothered in the slightest, and if they persist, more money to fund the Trump campaign.

I like the $20 charge for tickets and offer the option for a refund if you show up to the rally, but offer the alternative of the $20 being a contribution (assuming it does not mess up stupid Federal Election Commission rules). My guess would be that you would have to declare the $20 ticket charge as a contribution to start with - which will cut off the libs because they would be reported as a Trump donor - I the agony of that!!!

But Sleepy Uncle Joe has already figured that out. He's not gonna have any rallies because he's worried that (1) stated -- somebody might catch a cold or COVID-19 at them and (2) unstated - he couldn't fill up a small bar with drunks if he promised free beer all night.
I like the idea of a modest charge that would be recorded as a Trump campaign donation.

This is the kind of people they are. Bitter, twisted freaks who can't make a coherent argument about anything. If they aren't in a mob vandalizing something, they have no idea what to do.

Empty it out all you want. It's still 100 times the crowd in Puxatawney Joe's basement.

I also agree that there should be a small charge for tickets. It is like anything else. When you give something away for free, people abuse it. Charge $5 per ticket. Conservatives are happy to pay it to keep the riff-raff from destroying the event.

Isn't it illegal to interfere materially with an election campaign? I know that's true for foreign entities, but is it true for domestic saboteurs?

News flash: Registering online for a Trump event is just their effort to collect email information. When I went in Baton Rouge they never asked to see anything. It is just a matter of showing up early enough to get in and going through security. So ignore the numbers and go out - it is a fun time.

Folks, the lib are simple. Leave them be. They think there will be empty seats. HA! There are 10 Trumpers wanting each seat.
The real problem is the liberals who attend and cause havoc inside the arena. Blocking passageways, restrooms, prime seating areas and intimidate attendees.
Who sits behind PDT? It would be disruptive for liberals to be back there.

I heard that in OK, the mayor was talking about curfews, and there were scare tactics about violence and the virus. A lot of people travel great distances for rallies, and i suspect that calculating the risks came into play on deciding whether or not to make the trip.
The 6,000 or so who attended is a heck of a lot of people! And millions tuned in. No Dem (excepting probably BO) has garnered as much participation.

At Tulsa, the officers of the management company that supervises operations for the arena attempted to sabotage the Trump rally then went on social media bragging about it. Or so the story went that was posted on here last week. If seating was reserved, people wouldn't be showing up a day or two ahead of time to queue up for admittance.
As the recipient of umpteen e-mails a day from every interest hawker in the country as the result of a contribution to the Swift Boaters back in 2004, they want your email address.

Relax. After Tulsa, one of President Trump’s campaign people explained how the tickets work. There are no reserved seats. They put out more tickets than there is room in the venue. It is first come - first serve at the rally. Tickets make nice souvenirs - no one checked them, according to #4 (see above). This is more propaganda intended for the stupid media to broadcast. And for us to panic over if we are dumb enough to believe it.

All they have to do is announce the number of reserved tickets, and we can laugh on election night while they cry and scream. Remember that about four years ago. I try to catch it on YouTube when I need a good belly laugh.

Since no one shows up for the pervert moron's events, the pervert moron should pay people to show up. It's the only way anyone would go.
