President Trump has renewed his attacks on Joe Biden, this time questioning why former President Barack Obama hasn't endorsed his former vice president. In a new interview, Trump wondered if there was a “big secret” as to why Obama has not backed Biden. “How he doesn’t get President Obama to endorse him, there has to be some reason why he’s not endorsing him,” Trump told The Hill. “He was the vice president. They seemed to have gotten along. President Obama not endorsing him is rather… a big secret.” After the ponderance, the president accused Biden of lying when he previously

Comedians Roseanne Barr and Andrew Dice Clay are teaming up for a joint comedy tour dubbed “Mr. And Mrs. America,” the two announced in a pair of Instagram posts Sunday.
Clay – who was banned from MTV over his headline-making material – and Barr – who was removed from her hit show Roseanne over an offensive joke about Valerie Jarrett – decided to team up for a joint “Mr. and Mrs. America” comedy tour. The tour is inspired by the “national obsession with political discourse and the policing of comedians’ language,” Deadline reports.

JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia — Just when you were wondering whether Washington, D.C., is still the dumbest place on earth, along comes Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.

The Democrat Plan to ruin America is very clear. California Governor Gavin Newsom gave it away just days ago. Thank you, Gavin. The truth will set us free.Newsom argued in a Politico interview that the national GOP under President Trump is an exact repeat of the California GOP under Governor Pete Wilson in 1994. He argues that Wilson destroyed the GOP in California by campaigning for a law to limit spending on illegal aliens. From that point on, California became a lost cause for the GOP. Newsom claims that’s exactly what’s about to happen to the national GOP. He’s right. Guess who lived in California in 1994? Yours truly.

Likely they will only bring Mueller under VERY carefully control; and they’d probably prefer a panel approach where scripted Mueller confidants can bookend him during any questioning.

The “three Rs” at this school are reading, ‘riting and resentment. A survey on “white privilege” was posted in a Manhattan school with virtually no white students — raising questions about what, besides stirred-up outrage, is being taught. The two-page “White Privilege Exercise” was spotted earlier this month inside the Life Sciences Secondary School amid the ongoing controversy over Schools Chancellor Richard Carranza’s racial diversity initiatives. City Councilman Joseph Borelli (R-Staten Island) said a city worker last week sent him photos of the questionnaire stapled to a hallway bulletin board near the principal’s office, but it’s unclear who put it up or why.

I thought it was satire, something cooked up by his political enemies. You couldn't put out a less attractive video than the one Gavin Newsom did for illegal immigrants on Twitter, advising them himself on how to obstruct ICE from any deportation maneuvers. And sure enough, he wasn't hacked, it really was blue-checked him.(Tweet/Video) Leave aside the fact that he's the governor of a U.S. state, supposedly there to represent the interests of that state's citizens, rather than those of the foreigners who come here without papers, quite illegally, and run up the tab using his state's services. They're his constituents, too now, in fact, the ones whose interests he chooses

It used to be a truism of American politics that we only have one President at a time. That there was a strong tradition ensuring the ‘peaceful transition of power” from one administration to the other. President Barack Obama is obliterating those quaint traditions of American democracy. Indeed he seems to have set up a government in exile, in Washington DC, while he seeks to undermine and sabotage the sitting President.

Never Trumpers would probably accept creeping or trotting liberalism. But Democratic presidential candidates are pledging liberalism at a full gallop.
Democratic presidential candidates keep raising the stakes, particularly on the economy, making the choice for Never Trump Republicans and independents increasingly difficult.
For purposes of this column, let’s define Never Trumpers as people who are center to center right on policy, so there is a lot that Donald Trump has done as president that they like.
They nevertheless find his behavior, as president and as a candidate, abhorrent. And his impulsive and erratic conduct of the nation’s business, internationally and domestically, a threat to stability and tranquility.

Young people are growing less tolerant of LGBTQ individuals, a jarring turn for a generation traditionally considered embracing and open, a survey released Monday shows.
The number of Americans 18 to 34 who are comfortable interacting with LGBTQ people slipped from 53% in 2017 to 45% in 2018 – the only age group to show a decline, according to the annual Accelerating Acceptance report. And that is down from 63% in 2016.
Driving the dilution of acceptance are young women whose overall comfort levels plunged from 64% in 2017 to 52% in 2018, says the survey conducted by The Harris Poll on behalf of LGBTQ advocacy group GLAAD.

Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” President Donald Trump said he was not prepared to lose the 2020 presidential election.
When Chuck Todd asked the president if he was prepared to lose the election, Trump said, “Probably not. Probably not. It would be much better. It would be much better if I said, ‘Yeah.’ It would be much easier for me to say, ‘Oh, yes.’ No, I’m probably not too prepared to lose. I don’t like losing. I haven’t lost very much in my life.”
Todd asked, “You didn’t like the fact you lost the popular vote. That bothered you, didn’t you?”
Trump said, “I’ll say something that, again, is controversial.

June 2019 is an “especially menacing time” for Christians both on the domestic and international fronts, writes Christian persecution expert John L. Allen in a report Sunday.
The U.S. Catholic Church is facing “one of the most serious potential violations of religious freedom in its history in the form of SB 360 in California,” writes Allen, author of the 2013 bestseller The Global War on Christians: Dispatches from the Front Lines of Anti-Christian Persecution, since the bill would compel priests to reveal information learned while hearing confessions as evidence against possible sex offenders.
“The bill passed the California senate in late May by a 30-2 vote and is expected to be considered

Three people had acid thrown on them in two separate incidents over just a few hours in London, including a market stall vendor targeted by people “wearing burqas”.
Djamil Mogdad was preparing his clothes stall around at 6.40am on Friday morning at Walthamstow Market when he was “assaulted with a corrosive substance”, according to a Metropolitan Police spokesman.
“Officers and the London Fire Brigade attended. The man was taken to an east London hospital for treatment; his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening,” the spokesman added.
“It is alleged that the victim had been approached by two suspects, both wearing burkhas,

“Equality” cries were cherished by feminists when they gave females entry into military academies, boardrooms and the ranks of police; prize-money parity in some sporting events; and access to boys’ athletics. But with these appeals now putting sexually confused men in women’s sports, well, feminists’ cries are a tad different. Equality can be a real downer when it’s principle and not ploy.
As for my position, I’ve devoted more ink to combating the made-up sexual status (MUSS, usually called “transgender”) agenda than most any other writer.

Tensions were already smoldering in the Oregon Senate Wednesday, when Sen. Brian Boquist, R-Dallas, poured gasoline on the situation, suggesting he would shoot and potentially kill any state trooper sent to haul him unwillingly back to the Capitol.
After Senate Republican Leader Herman Baertschiger Jr. said Tuesday that his caucus was “prepared to take actions” to prevent passage of a major climate change bill, Gov. Brown announced on Wednesday that she was ready to answer Republican stonewalling by calling lawmakers back for a special session.

“Whether I shall turn out to be the hero of my own life, or whether that station will be held by anybody else,” Charles Dickens wondered. He feared that if he wasn’t the hero, then he would surely be the victim of his own life.
Dickens, like most of us, would like to be the hero. That means that we have achieved our important goals and that we are, at least somewhat, in control of our own lives.

It was the operation that reportedly cost former Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen her job. She was reluctant to go through with it. So, Trump got rid of her, part of the massive overhaul at DHS that occurred in April. To put it simply, we’re going to have a large-scale raid on illegals by Immigration and Customs Enforcement. It’s not cruel. It’s not immoral. It’s the right thing to do. It’s the law. You cannot come here illegally, no matter how sad your sob story is—we have a new sheriff in town. It’s time for these folks to go.

COLUMBIA, N.H. — A long-planned Blessing of the Bikes ceremony for motorcycle enthusiasts became a scene of mourning and reflection Sunday as about 400 people paid tribute to seven bikers killed in a devastating collision with a pickup truck . The victims of the wreck Friday evening were members or supporters of the Marine JarHeads — a New England motorcycle club that includes Marines and their spouses — and ranged in age from 42 to 62.“When they fall, we all fall,” said Laura Cardinal, vice president of the Manchester Motorcycle Club, adding that fellow bikers will support the families of those who died. “Those families, they’re going to

Before California slips into the ocean after a massive earthquake, as some predicted decades ago that it would, it looks like it will first become America’s very own undeveloped nation.
California has endured its share of Old Testament calamities in the modern world. Yet at times it seems that it will surely succumb to disasters created by its own hand.
There are real monsters loose in the streets. Rats, “an army” of them “millions strong,” reports KOMO News, have “overthrown” Los Angeles. Not long ago, “officials briefly closed part of City Hall after reporting that rodents had invaded the building,” said California Healthline.

On the campaign trail in 1992, Bill Clinton famously stopped by a McDonald’s during a jog. Impromptu or not, it helped cement Clinton’s image as a regular guy who understands budget-minded middle-class families.
Fast forward 27 years, and Democrats are once again making campaign stops at McDonald’s. But not to eat there. No, no, no.
They are showing up to protest the fast-food chain for “corporate greed” and for not paying its workers a “living wage.”
Kamala Harris, for example, was in Las Vegas marching in a protest and telling those assembled that “if we want to talk about these golden arches being a symbol of the best of America, well

If you thought that Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx’s Jussie Smollett fiasco couldn’t get any worse, it quite clearly can.
At least for her. But not for the people of Cook County. It was a great day for the people.
And it was a great day for retired appellate Judge Sheila O’Brien, who figured, like so many of you, that Foxx’s handling of the Smollett case and her office’s decision to drop the charges against him smelled like the gutters in an alley off the Chicago Way.
On Friday, Cook County Judge Michael Toomin ruled in support of O’Brien’s petition that a special prosecutor be appointed to reinvestigate

Often in the early evening over the last few weeks, Joe Biden’s team has told reporters that the front-runner doesn’t have a public campaign schedule for the next day, but that he instead “will meet with advisers.” Biden has lots of meetings to attend to, but increasingly this has been code for prep sessions as the former vice-president and his aides think through how to counter a wide array of inevitable attacks in what will likely be just six and a half to nine minutes of talking time on the debate stage in Miami on Thursday.

Medicare-for-all. Medicare for all who want it. Health care as a form of freedom. As they campaign, most of the 23 Democratic candidates for president are trumpeting bold ideas to achieve the party’s long-held dream of ushering in health coverage for every American.
The problem is that many voters are not focused on such lofty goals. They want something simpler — to pay less for their own health care.
Voters have plenty to sort out, with nearly two dozen Democrats running, each offering a raft of proposals on many issues. But in public opinion surveys and interviews, people rank health care as their top concern. And with insurance deductibles,

The former vice president is one of 25 prominent Democrats running against Trump in 2020. “I think what’s happening now is, I think that Donald Trump may have reawakened sensibilities

It’s an article of faith among Democrats that the President’s base consists primarily of white working class voters without college degrees, and that they must be won back in order to beat Trump in 2020. This is why Elizabeth Warren inflicted that cringe-making, “I’m gonna get me a beer,” video on a long-suffering electorate. It is why Joe Biden, who reputedly enjoys a special rapport with blue collar voters, is the frontrunner for his party’s presidential nomination despite his penchant for gaffes and plagiarism. Thus, during this week’s Democratic debates, the candidates will devote considerable effort to courting the “deplorables.”
This will, however, be an exercise in futility because everything

The Supreme Court is set to hand down its much-anticipated decision on whether the Trump administration can include a citizenship question on the 2020 census.
The question has been the subject of multiple legal challenges since it was announced in early 2018. And a courtroom twist this past week added a new level of drama that could affect the Census Bureau’s timeline for finalizing and printing the decennial questionnaire.
Opponents of the citizenship question cite studies that indicate it might lead to an inaccurate population count, which would impact the data used to determine congressional representation and the allocation of federal funds to states.

When the rape allegations brought against President Trump by advice columnist E. Jean Carroll surfaced on Friday, you could instantly predict that we were going to see a standoff between supporters on both sides. That’s been playing out over the weekend already, but one interview that Carroll did on Friday night caught my attention. She appeared on MSNBC and one of the expected subjects came up. She’s made a very serious charge in her upcoming book, far beyond any sort of harassment or inappropriate touching, so is she going to bring charges? Apparently not. That’s her call to make, of course, but why? It’s her reason

What do Democrats want to do about illegal immigration? Will they ever tell us? Or will they keep emoting about how deeply they care about the issue without ever offering a plan?
Rep. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez made a splash last week by referring to the detention centers housing illegal immigrants as concentration camps. Using the rhetoric of “never again,” she drew a revolting false parallel between the Holocaust and an imperfect democracy’s efforts to deal with tens of thousands of illegal migrants crossing our southern border.
When called out, she doubled and tripled down.

President Trump admitted in an interview aired Sunday that he views appointing Jeff Sessions as his attorney general was his “biggest mistake” as president and said if he had a do-over, he would have tapped someone else.
Trump was on NBC’s “Meet the Press” when he made the comment. Sessions resigned last November—just after the midterms—after stark public criticism from the president. It was the height of the Mueller investigation and Trump was openly critical of Sessions decision to recuse himself from the probe in early 2017.

There are many seemingly never-ending debates: Republicans vs. Democrats; impeach vs. don’t impeach; capital punishment vs. life in prison; wall vs. no wall; legalizing marijuana vs. not; self-driving cars vs. human drivers; Red Sox vs. Yankees; takeout vs. home-cooked; or “Gone With the Wind” vs. any other movie.
All of these issues are stunningly important, right up to the second where cataclysm falls and creates a nightmare scenario that so many fear.
That cataclysm is a complete loss of electricity and every mode of convenience and survival we take for granted.
The largest red flag on this issue in years just waved in South America. Last weekend, tens of millions of people
