Former Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) offered some praise for President Trump, saying he’s energized a base of Republican voters who didn’t previously participate in politics.
“What I think people get excited about is he's not taking any crap,” Ryan said Sunday in a wide-ranging interview with PBS NewsHour’s Judy Woodruff. “I mean, he’s taking on political correctness, he’s taking fights that a lot of people want to see fought. The forgotten man that he speaks to is a person that finally feels like they’re being taken seriously, they’re being paid attention to. And he’s concerned about their issues.”

Paul Ryan is the man who eagerly flipped the House to the Democrats--the ONE thing that Ryan did well in his career.

Maybe if Paul Ryan had been on DJT's side two years ago, things would be different today.

This from the guy who did nothing to roll back obamacare. Same goes for a wall and immigration. All this could have been resolved already. Thanks Ryan for your globalist agenda.

Why did you obstruct him, and not lift a finger to help him, Mr. Ryan?

He did it back then because the "donors" who bribed, blackmailed or otherwise owned him told him to. He's no different than any other politician.

It is obvious Ryan didn't think Trump would survive the Mueller Coup D'tat and now he is looking for some scraps off the table.

Methinks Mr. Ryan has put his finger in the air to see which way the wind is blowing. He senses that President Trump will be treated much more kindly than he by the legitimate historians.

“I mean, he’s taking on political correctness, he’s taking fights that a lot of people want to see fought," fights that sc**bag lily-livered cow**ds like me, Paul Ryan, didn't have the guts to fight for the very people who we promised to fight for but then abandoned once we were elected.

I REALLY do not care one bit what Ryan says. It is almost certainly some sort of a lie, anyway.

Well Paul, you're a little late. You should have done that same thing when you ran the House instead of kowtowing to every Death Party wish.

Maybe ol' Speaker Paul is considering a run to become governor of Wisconsin after his close friend Scott Walker is no longer in office. Wisconsin is Trump Country outside Milwaukee, Madison and Green Bay.
