Young people are growing less tolerant of LGBTQ individuals, a jarring turn for a generation traditionally considered embracing and open, a survey released Monday shows.
The number of Americans 18 to 34 who are comfortable interacting with LGBTQ people slipped from 53% in 2017 to 45% in 2018 – the only age group to show a decline, according to the annual Accelerating Acceptance report. And that is down from 63% in 2016.
Driving the dilution of acceptance are young women whose overall comfort levels plunged from 64% in 2017 to 52% in 2018, says the survey conducted by The Harris Poll on behalf of LGBTQ advocacy group GLAAD.
Caused by the LGBTQEIEIOLSMFT "community" getting so annoyingly in-your-face with their abnormal lifestyle. Blow-back is inevitable.

These numbers are very alarming and signal a looming social crisis in discrimination;” I don’t see this as a “social crisis,” I see this as a good thing.

"39% were uncomfortable learning their child had a school lesson on LGBTQ history vs. 30% in 2017"
There are a LOT of things being taught in the public schools that make me uncomfortable. Especially those that relate to history of any kind. Howard Zinn and his Advanced Placement US History (APUSH) topping that list.
The Left, and lately the gaystapo Left, have become very aggressive and threatening of late. Just as any bakery.

They have been telling kids that gay means love. Now they are realizing that gay means perverted sexual behavior. It must be such a shock for them......

I believe the LGBTQ advocacy groups, elected by nobody, funded by somebody, but mostly not by those they say they represent, should be more tolerant of other people, and their views. Everybody doesn't have to love you, and realistically, won't.

"39% were uncomfortable learning their child had a school lesson on LGBTQ history vs. 30% in 2017"
39% (and more, I suspect) understand that if this same information discussed with schoolchildren were introduced to them on a playground instead of a classroom, the person talking to them would be arrested for child abuse and other charges. The classroom immunizes them from prosecution due to "learning," but the damage to young and impressionable children is still being done.

The "survey" was "conducted by The Harris Poll on behalf of LGBTQ advocacy group GLAAD."
This news release is meant to "prove" that society is becoming LESS tolerant, meaning the LGB... crowd needs more special "protections" and advocacy by the government. Gay pride is no more than Gay pandering.

Gee, you think those women trapped inside a man's body beating the snot outta girls in sports has anything to do with it? Just wondering. Maybe not all little girls are comfortable with a women trapped inside a man's body using the same bathroom. Maybe the specil privilages afforded homosexuals has some kids thinking it isn't fair.

#5 Gets it.
Most people dont care one way or another what one's orientation is. But make it a daily issue, act like a clown and people tend to pull back.
Im seeing this in my own company. The corp is pushing Pride Month 24/7 with non-stop postings and flag raisings to "raise awareness and show tolerance and inclusiveness". As a member of the tribe, I expressed that I was somewhat uncomfortable with the spectacle, and that going overboard and not for other groups was non-inclusive. Sufice it to say that I know how Black and Jewish Republicans feel when they stray from the plantation. Because those of us who dont wear or sexuality on our sleves and support abortion are just like Jewish Nazis.
Im in the ultimate group to be attacked....American first, Messianic Jew, male, white, veteran, pro-life, gay and republican.

This Gay Pride month bs put it over the top for a lot of people. It did for me and lots of folks I know. We are sick to death of it.

What does LGBTQWTF expect? They have bombarded us with their propaganda and exposed us to their way of life, and many people are turned off by their behavior. I am not the least bit interested in their private lives, but their dress in gay parades is particularly disgusting! I don’t need their parades or the false transgender crap or any other gender stuff. Get a job and get on with your lives.

We have all been force fed how oppressed these poor little deviant pansies are 24/7 when they are allowed even encouraged to prance down Main St in pleather tutus and demand our children be taught from preschool on that this is perfectly normal even admirable behavior for mature humans. Real emotionally and socially mature humans know better.
I don't care what consenting adults do in privacy assuming it does not break my leg or pick my pocket but force fed lies are still lies. Healthy adults know the truth and their kids are catching on.

The LGBTQ community has become a bunch of jerks! Getting in people's faces, telling them that they are intolerant and biased, and demanding (with violence) that other people submit to their demands is not the way to win friends and influence people!
I don't think most people care if someone is gay, as long as they don't make an issue of it and harass people.

When less than 1% of the population carry on like they are the majority and everyone must kowtow to them and their 24/7 displays it gets old fast.
When you asked for Tolerance, we were all good with that. But no, the demands never seem to stop.

Agree with #9.
I live in possibly the "gayest" city in the US and I like it here. The city has plenty of money, we all have (mostly) great neighbors, we're a fabulous resort town, the arts community thrives and all is pretty much well. Far better than many other communities across the land and I know this because I'm well-travelled and I've lived in many burgs in several states.
The LGBT sis-boom-bah community is safe thriving and represented here; nobody seems to worry about it and business is good.
I figure this is pretty much what all sane well-adjusted citizens want.
One thing though and this is no big secret anywhere these days -- being a straight single white-happy ponytailed conservative boomer puts me in the mega-minority now.
I don't mind, really. My social and professional interactions are purposely non-political and besides, I look exactly like who I am. This is my MAGA hat if you get my drift; I have no problems with anyone and nobody has a problem with me.

The ever growing mnemonic of LGBTQWERTYMISFITS is just plain tiring me out. The likes of Pete Buttgieg ENDLESSLY going on about wanting Desperately to be the FIRST gay president is just plain tiring me out. The fact that homosexual men ALL have husbands and homosexual women ALL have wives is just plain tiring me out. I suspect it's also tiring out "the young"

This survey will be used to blame Trump for whatever, and it's nonsense. The posts here get it.
I'll bet the farm that if the questions were put with just the word "gay" instead of LBGTQ you'd find tolerance is as high or higher. LBGTQ is a political emblem.
Learning a family member is gay will get a different response than Learning a family member is LBGTQ.

Good news. These bizzaros, demanding that you continuously, vociferously, and publicly tell them how normal that they are and how wonderful that they are -- getting a backlash.
Clearly they are NOT normal, and their short lifespan proves how 'not wonderful' their lifestyle actually is.
Hope that more figure this out.

I don't go around announcing who I share a bed with. Is it too much to ask gays to do the same?
