Often in the early evening over the last few weeks, Joe Biden’s team has told reporters that the front-runner doesn’t have a public campaign schedule for the next day, but that he instead “will meet with advisers.” Biden has lots of meetings to attend to, but increasingly this has been code for prep sessions as the former vice-president and his aides think through how to counter a wide array of inevitable attacks in what will likely be just six and a half to nine minutes of talking time on the debate stage in Miami on Thursday.
Biden debated well during the 2008 cycle and as the vice-president

I'm a bit surprised that DeBlasio qualifies to be in the debates.

Call me cynical but I suspect that some or all of these folks have already been given the questions....

Quite possibly #2, and also the answers, which of course are: ''It's Trumps fault.''

It is way too early to make any reasonable conclusions about the Dems and the current polls. But after a few debates if Biden is still the frontrunner, one can start icing the champagne for Trumps' reelection. Is there a worse candidate than Hitlery? No. Is there a just as out of tough, complete imbecile as Hitlery with slightly better social skills? Yes, and its Biden! Of course we have all made the mistake of assuming Democrat voters can't really be so dumb as to elect Biden or one of the other 20+ obvious losers. But then again, I think back to Carter, Mondale, Dukakis, Gore, Obambi and realize that one can never take for granted a modicum of intelligence in a Democrat voter. Not that the Rebublicans with Bush, Dole, McLame, Romney have shown to be much smarter.

Goodness! Instead o the voters actually getting to see and hear the Democratic Party candidates, all they will get to see are The best-prepped pretenders ever. The candidates huddling down with a bevy of political experts honing their answers, sharpening up their comments, shaving off the idiosyncrasies of their body language, practicing their delivery of one minute condensed versions of their position, ideas and thoughts- it is all so utterly phony. The voters never really get to see the real persons they might be deciding on. Which actor on stage - which trained kitty, puppy, parrot or turkey on that stage can be qualified to run the country? No one will get to see them subconsciously scratch their behind, shift their undies, pick their nose, stutter, wrinkle their forehead, stare blankly at the podium while others speak...or utter untoward, unplanned blurts, issue forth an untimely guffaw, yawn or cough. In short- voters will only see a bunch of actors playing to the best demographic delight their trainers can train them to do.

Biden only did well in the VP debate because the game was already thrown and decided by then. But this is a whole new rodeo, and the democrats aren't going to be nice about it this time. In fact, I suspect they know there is going to be much entertainment to be had, what with the live tweeting going on during the debates. Will be my first time following a democrat circus, but I will follow the Trump tweeting for the amusement.

I wouldn't miss these debates for the world. I love a circus, the only thing is the ones I've seen before had lions, tigers and bears. This circus will only have jackasses and clowns.

Biden has been drawing taxpayer funded pay checks all of his adult life. Can anyone name a single important improvement he has made for the taxpayers?
