It's been little noticed by the media, but ever since the beginning of the Iran War, Arab countries have been quietly, but not secretly, coordinating with Israel. The UAE, for instance, has Israeli advisors on the ground who are helping with air defense, and an Iron Dome battery is based in the UAE. During the 12-Day War, several Arab countries shot down Iranian drones aimed at Israel. An Israeli air defense system deployed to the UAE was used to intercept an Iranian missile today, CNN reports. It was recently reported that Israel deployed at least one Iron Dome battery and dozens of IDF operators to the UAE

The problem with that attack is that his opponents, current L.A. Mayor Karen Bass (D) and L.A. In a wide-ranging interview, the former 2024 GOP presidential candidate blasted soaring taxes and runaway spending in big cities like New York, Chicago and California. “I don’t think it’s good that, like, one guy gets elected mayor and then people feel like they have to flee the city,” DeSantis told me, referring to Mamdani.

Jimmy Kimmel joked about Rudy Giuliani rising from “the grave” in a monologue just days before the former New York City mayor was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. “So last night, America’s mayor, Rudy Giuliani, rose from the grave to weigh in on the ongoing drama involving me,” Kimmel said in a monologue on Tuesday, referencing his ill-timed joke about first lady Melania Trump looking like an “expectant widow” days before the President Trump assassination attempt at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. During “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” Kimmel played a clip of Giuliani, 81, remarking on his podcast that the embattled talk show host is —

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said on Sunday that the indictment of former FBI Director James Comey goes beyond his "8647" Instagram post about President Trump. "Rest assured that it's not just the Instagram post that leads somebody to get indicted," Blanche said on "Meet the Press" on Sunday. "The career FBI agents, the career Secret Service agents that investigated this case, didn't just look at the Instagram post and walk away," he added. Blanche declined to elaborate on the matter. "So I am not permitted to get into the details of what the grand jury heard or found," he said.

The United States on Monday kicked off an effort to “guide” stranded ships from the Iran-gripped Strait of Hormuz, as it tries to counter economic disruptions that outlasted the peak of fighting with no peace deal in sight. A day after U.S. President Donald Trump announced what he called “Project Freedom,” the Joint Maritime Information Center said Monday that the U.S. had set up an “enhanced security area” south of typical shipping routes and urged mariners to coordinate closely with Omani authorities “due to anticipated high traffic volume.” The strait sits between Iranian and Omani territory.

From the president to plumbers, hundreds of Americans spent last week speaking the Word of God at the “America Reads the Bible” event in Washington, D.C. Among them, Tim Goeglein of Focus on the Family. “The reason I was so honored to be there and to read is because you can’t understand the founding of our country without understanding the centrality of the Bible,” Goeglein told The Daily Signal. “When you’re up there reading, you have a soulful sense, a very deep purpose, that you’re not just reading the scriptures, whether you’re in church or at another event. But that you are essentially —
The Real Reason Why Barack Obama Condemned
the Supreme Court’s Racial Redistricting Ruling

Barack Obama is a real piece of work. Seriously, he has no shame. One week after the former president successfully gaslit a small majority of Virginians into voting for a redistricting initiative that got rid of the state’s two majority-minority congressional districts, he has the gall to condemn the Supreme Court’s ruling against the practice of redistricting along racial lines. He doesn’t really care about giving black voters better representation—he cares about the Democrats’ grasp for raw, naked political power, by any means necessary. While the Constitution generally prohibits sorting citizens based on race, lower courts have long interpreted the Voting Rights Act of 1965 as effectively mandating redistricting along racial lines.
The Democrats May Not Survive Callais Ruling replies

If the title of this column seems to exaggerate the potential impact of last week’s Supreme Court ruling in Louisiana v. Callais, it’s probably because most political pundits have focused on its effect below the Mason-Dixon Line. But the majority-minority congressional districts that will need to be altered pursuant to the Court’s ruling are far more pervasive than most realize. Ballotpedia, using data from the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2024 American Community Survey, estimates that these racially gerrymandered districts account for 148 seats in the House of Representatives. This is about one third of the House’s 435 districts.
