Scared Jurors, Intimidation: Reporter
Andy Ngo's Case Against Antifa Shows How
Desperately Lost Portland Is

Original Article

Journalist Andy Ngo was chased, beaten, and chased again when he burst into a downtown Portland, Ore., hotel in May 2021 to get away from his black-bloc-clad Antifa attackers. (snip) On Tuesday, a Portland jury decided that two key alleged Antifa conspirators whose cases went to trial were not civilly liable for Ngo’s injuries, both physical and otherwise. The trial was marred by intimidation tactics — not just from the attackers but from their attorney who declared to the unidentified jury members, “I am Antifa” and “I will remember each one of your faces.” We’re talking Godfather stuff here.

When the judicial system so thoroughly fails, allowing thugs to run free and victimize people at will, where do the people turn for justice? This invites star chambers, vigilantism and open rebellion. The people will not be denied justice. If they can't get it through the proper channels, they will find it through other means. The left may cheer the results of this trial, but they won't like the consequences that are coming.

Disbar the attorney. Convict and jail the Antifa attackers. And award Ngo treble damages and attorney fees.

Re#4. No. Trying them a second criminal court after being found not guilty is "double jeopardy". The only recorse for Andy is suing them in civil court. Even if he prevails, it's on him to collect from dirt bags with no assets. These Antifa dirt bags are free and clear. Here's to hoping that karma bites back.

Ted Wheeler is going to go down in local history as probably the worst mayor Portland has ever had. Even Vera Katz was better than this guy. The DA of Portland has ties to several of the Antifa/BLM leaders and that DA should be disbarred for ethics conflicts. Maybe Portland voters will get a clue finally, but I won't hold my breath. Thankfully my son and his wife no longer live in the Moldy City of Portland.

The judge in this case is at fault for not immediately declaring a mistrial after the defense attorney 's threat. That and all of the other intimidation tactics during the trial were also grounds for mistrial. Can this be appealed based on everything that went on during the trial but was ignored by the judge?

Left-wing columnists are back on the attack against the movie The Blind Side, calling it racist and an example of “white savior” syndrome as the recriminations between ex-NFL player Michael Oher and the Tuohy family continue to echo in the press and soon in the courtroom. The renewed attack by liberals on the 2009 film came after ex-NFL player Michael Oher, who is black, filed a lawsuit alleging that the Tuohy family, who are white, withheld an unknown amount of money from him in profits from the film as well as lying to him about adopting him as a member of the family.

Aerial photos show the red-roofed home with a bright white façade still in seemingly pristine condition, against the grey-toned, ashen landscape by which it is surrounded.
