GOP megadonors are privately courting popular Republican Govs. Glenn Youngkin of Virginia and Brian Kemp of Georgia to challenge former President Donald Trump in 2024, Axios reported Saturday.
As Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has struggled to gain traction in the polls against the former president, the Republican contributors are seeking other potential alternatives to jump in last minute, according to Axios. Though Youngkin and Kemp have both previously ruled out a 2024 bid, several sources told the outlet they’re keeping the door open as top donors reach out.
“People are desperate. They are concerned with what could happen if Trump wins the primaries

Kemp is a RINO and I sincerely doubt that Youngkin has the chops to stand up to evil.

Let me say that the "Governor of Georgia" is not popular. Not with me anyway. His handling of the election through "Secretary of State" PufnStuff is HARD evidence that he not fit for the job he holds.

They are wasting their money, Trump has already proved he can help this country, the economy was good under him, I haven't heard anything from those running just how they are going to get us out of the horror Biden has put us in. Trump has the know-how AND the backbone to do what it takes, the border, China, the economy,
and undoing all the crap Biden has forced on us. MAGA

One more thing...all the crap during Trump's term rests solely with the Dems, it was and is all made up, as does all the crap they are doing now to persecute him. I doubt they will stop, but we have to stand with him, against them. He has my vote! MAGA

Why are "Republican" mega donors panicked about a President Trump???
Maybe because they are not what they seem.
Far too many appropriate the term "Republican" or "conservative".
More likely that the "mega" donors are those who stand to lose if a "republic" is ever restored...

Brian Kemp is most assuredly not a Republican! Perhaps a Trojan Horse in the Republican Party... Those "Mega-Donors" are scraping the bottom of the barrel here.

5, yes.
Republican is a private corporation.
Conservative is a political philosophy.
Never conflate the two.
Trump has already won the nomination. They can waste their RINO cash however they like.

I wish someone would ask what is it the MEGA donors are so afraid of if Trump wins? Make them say it.
If nothing else, we are witnessing the unveiling of the GOP. We know who and what the Dems are, but we have been hoodwinked up till now who was running the GOP and what it stands for.
It’s gonna get worse as they get more desperate. Pray for Trump. The knives are out on all sides.

By now it should be evident to anyone with a lick of sense that there is only one party...and it's been that way for decades, at least. If not since the beginning.
It's Trump (and us) against the "Establishment," and his (and our) chances of winning are not good.
After all, they installed a senile, brain-dead career politician over Trumps winning 2nd term....just to show us they could. Elections are now only for show. The vote counting program is a proven process.

Kemp was instrumental in throwing the Georgia 2020 election. I have only one thing for him and it certainly isn't a vote. His runningmate, Raffensberger is even a bigger puke.
Youngkin, for all his hype, sure isn't tearing up much turf in Virginia. He's ultimately useless.
Isn't it fascinating how much terror DJT strikes in the hearts of the unrighteous? The liar, schemer, swindler, user, power addicted class soils their pants at the mention of Trump.
I've been what I thought was a conscientious voter for over 50 years, never realizing until '20 that I was simply participating in a hoop jump orchestrated by the uniparty I hadn't yet recognized.
I'm done.
No Trump...no vote.
But I'll do something...

While he didn't intend to, Jonah Goldberg explained who GOP mega donors are: "moderates" (lite dems) who talk opposition to creeping socialism, but cave to it every single time. They think their way is the road to successful elections. What Jonah ignored is that those people gave us the following losers: John McCain, Mitt Romney, Bob Dole and Heb Bush. Their only success was GWB who won by the skin of his teeth 23 years ago.

The more candidates there are, the more likely that Trump will win the nomination. In the early 2020 primaries, Trump consistently won about 40% of the vote, with the remaining 60% split between the dozen other candidates.

Bull pies. Kemp allowed his state to become the biggest campaign cheat in the country and Youngkin is in the same category as DeSantis, potential presidential material in maybe another decade if the country lasts that long.

What are they afraid of?
Do they still believe Trump is a Russian asset? Or, in the Russiagate scheme used against him?
Do they not realize the attacks started when he was campaigning and escalated during the transition (not very peaceful after all).
Or, they simply want less drama?
Well, they could have it if they simply allowed for the honest reporting of what has happened and let Trump clear his name.
Bet he would settle for that if they helped achieve that outcome.

OK, just for comparison let's compare one candidate with a proven political worldwide, track record and .... who can fill a football stadium with 60,000 people and
any other candidate who has nothing but a locally elected state office as a "feather in his cap" - that's right!!!, no comparison
give me a break, all you Never Trumpers, RINO's and deniers, your intentions are clear and they are the same as the demcommies ... domination of the greatest group of collected humanity in the history of the world who fought and died to save what we have been so fortunate to inherit from them, not from any politician sitting in his/her office in D.C. making millions by doing what diapers has done since he began his political money grabbing career

Kemp let the elections get corrupted and as long as he got back in office it was OK with him. His Secretary of State let ballots airdrop from the sky to anyone whether they are citizens or not.

Go ahead and waste your money. This reminds me of my cousin who worked in Reno as a dealer at the Peppermill. Quite often people would come in and bet large sums of money for months. Then they would disappear only to return six months later and instead of betting large, they're betting 10's and twenties. Go ahead big guys and bet big on these losers.
