Candidate Ron DeSantis Says MAGA Supporters
Are “listless vessels” Who “follow

Feeling empowered after his boost from Georgia Republican Governor Brian Kemp, a man of notoriously intemperate disposition, presidential candidate Ron DeSantis begins the process to align himself with the neocon establishment and labeling Donald Trump supporters as “listless vessels” devoid of principle, who simply “follow whatever comes down the pike from Truth Social every morning.” Appearing with a young millennial wearing a beaver tail on his head, namely Will Witt from the Florida Standard, Ron DeSantis outlines his opinion that the MAGA movement is only driven by the support of President Donald Trump, a person who has exhausted his usefulness in awakening the electorate.

Comments:

So MAGA followers are to be denigrated? What is rhis increasingly clumsy amateur thinking? He is deading himself politically forever… Pretty clear that he never did get it.

You must not miss this: As a result, the high-minded superior intellects of the Republican Party now need to step in, reestablish the core values of the conservative movement, and put the squirming MAGA children in their play pens. You can watch the entire interview below; I’m just prompting it to the part that best highlights the sanctimonious arrogance of a dim-witted candidate who really doesn’t carry his own policies, only those of the managers and branding consultants that create his talking points. I watched the interview, and think Governor DeSantis was excellent. He was absolutely right on every policy point. And he is correct in his understanding that a genuine movement, to be successful. must be about more than one man. To passively go along with whatever Trump says, however unwise or impolitic, is to defeat our own purposes. It won't carry the day with the general electorate. And Sundance has melted down into near mania, as this column makes clear. We have two choices: we can do what we can to save the republic. Or we can indulge in self-pity, invoke a political world which no longer exists and then brace ourselves for one party rule under the radical left. I for one opt for the former.

I didn’t bother watching the video. No longer interested in anything he has to say. No longer trust him. It’s interesting, however, that someone so far behind Trump in the polls is seemingly so confident in defeating him in the election. Same with his “team”. Reminds me of the smug confidence displayed by the Democrats before the 2020 election. A sickening “the-fix-is-in” kind of confidence. I’m thankful that he has shown his true character. There was a time that I would have voted for him. No longer. I’m still bothered by the last GOPe betrayal. He obviously doesn’t want or need the vote of this “listless vessel”. I’ll oblige him.

LOL, Thanks for the insight Ron. Also got a chuckle out of some posters who just know how to reach out for all those uncommitted voters and who are appalled by blunt talk. Hey, even misquoted, made up quotes, out of context edited words by President Trump brought more heat and light onto the sewer of lying, thieving, politicians in DC than generations of smooth talking, focus grouped, empty suits. Ron ONLY got to where he is by having a state government that implemented President Trump ideas. Without that he would be another Larry Hogan. New flash Ron and some posters, 2024 will be controlled and dragged across the line the same way 2020 was. The rats have it down now and it is all a dark circus. THEY will install whoever they want and do whatever they want. No rat is going to jail, trial or impeachment. None. Don't you get it? They want a push back. The move violent the better for them. The ONLY wild card might be if they lose control in a serious way. In a way we have never seen in this country and that won't happen as long as the majority eat 3 times a day and the money isn't absolutely worthless. That should hold till 2024.

Credit Sundance for putting up this Youtube interview. Unfortunately, not many commenters appear to have have watched it. They just read the headline. And spoke out accordingly. That's how it often works on this site. RDS is a smart guy who has a reasonable chance of defeating whomever the dems run in the general. Versus Trump. who will be a certain loser. But, barring a miracle, Trump will be the Republican nominee. Maybe after the November '24 loss we'll be able to flush Trump out of Republican politics forever. Then he can go back to being a Democrat.

Everyone should stick to the issues and solutions to problems, not ad hominem attacks on being "offended" by name calling. Shutting up and discussing issues instead of personalities would be so helpful. Governor DeSantis is going to get tagged in the lib media being linked to Hitlery and her "irredeemable basket of deplorables" comment on September 10, 2016. It is way too early to be engaging in barbs at this point, and votes determine primary candidates for the nomination and not media coverage. IF the demonrat socialist Marxists are successful in their lawfare quest, the next person up needs to not have been ruined by a republican circular firing squad with everyone calling each other out as RINOcrats

Big Picture: Democrats want power, Republicans want money – and when it comes to foreign policy, they are in complete UniParty alignment. This is the baseline to understand why only Donald J. Trump represents an alternative to the foreign policy worldview of the corrupt DC system. This is also why they hate him and us. There is no genuine alternative, no distinction between the foreign policy of professional Democrats and the foreign policy of professional Republicans. The nature of each wing of the UniParty vulture flows in complete sync on the issues of U.S. global interests and the multinational beneficiaries who pay for the policies of intervention.

The assembling of a compelling and fair response to an infectious viral outbreak is an immense challenge. Ideally, unbiased experts without conflicts of interest develop a survey of potentially effective remedies. The team includes seasoned pathologists, broad-thinking social psychologists, experienced epidemiologists, holistic dieticians, and veteran practitioners of complementary and indigenous medicine. Imagine a broadly trusted, well-meaning group gathering knowledge, and through consensus, generating recommendations and medical guidelines designed to have the greatest impact towards minimizing suffering. In making the best efforts to evaluate solutions and means of relief, they never lose sight of weighing risks versus benefits. This did not happen.

During the inferno that devastated part of the island of Maui, wiping entire towns off the map and possibly killing more than a thousand people (once a full assessment can be made), people on Maui begged state officials to allow West Maui stream water to be diverted to fill up reservoirs for firefighting. That request went to M. By the time the approval was received, workers were unable to reach the siphon release so that the water could be diverted.

There really is no other phrase that seems to adequately describe the future for online life in the United States than to describe it through the prism of the previously discussed shadow banning that takes place on the X-platform for specifically wrong-thinking users. In fact, it is quite a different experience depending on where on the globe you are located. The differences are driven by internal controls,
