Niger’s president, in an op-ed published Thursday, raised concerns that the political unrest in his country will present Russia with an opportunity to gain a foothold and advance its interests on the African continent. "With an open invitation from the coup plotters and their regional allies, the entire central Sahel region could fall to Russian influence via the Wagner Group, whose brutal terrorism has been on full display in Ukraine," Niger President Mohamed Bazoum wrote in The Washington Post. "Boko Haram and other terrorist movements will surely take advantage of Niger’s instability,

Excuse me but when all Europe and US do to those in Africa is lecture them, wag their fingers and tell them to not exploit their natural resources for their own good but to export them all to whatever previous colonial power that was their master in the past 2 centuries, what did you expect? China and Russia are fiends but they are fiends that build hospitals, roads, bridges, railroads, ports and then do real commerce. Now by all means lecture me on what China and Russia will expect in return for these services as those in the West always do. When a hospital is what you need, a lecture is just so useful.

Go for it, Niger. Kick out the "bad guys" and bring in the "good guys". Claw your way to the top of government today (or anytime) and get your slice of the goods...10% OR A LOT MORE to the "Big Guy".

Nice try. This is a thinly-disguised attempt to do exactly as Zelenskyy is doing, receive unlimited funds and weapons from Uncle Sugar to combat a threat from big, bad Russia. First, you need to get something on Joe or Hunter, then the checkbook opens for you.

An attorney for former President Trump spent Sunday fiercely defending his client in a series of TV interviews that aimed to reset the narrative in the case related to Trump’s efforts to cling to power after losing the 2020 presidential election. John Lauro, one of two attorneys who were alongside Trump last week during his arraignment, appeared on all five major Sunday morning political TV shows, collectively known as a “full Ginsburg” — albeit a modern-day one since he was not in the studio for all five — where he continued to mold his legal defense of the former president.

The juxtaposition of the Department of Justice’s handling of Hunter Biden with its outrageous treatment of Donald J. Trump justifies Scott Adams's view: "We can now see all of the machinery of government, from influence peddling to fake news to intel-supported hoaxes to political persecutions.” Diving even deeper, as have Jonathan Turley, James Freeman, Dan Bongino, and David Samuels, it’s beginning to look as if Barack Obama knew of Hunter’s corruption and the danger it posed to national security and did nothing about it. In exchange, he’s serving a third term as president behind the scrim while the demented present officeholder serves as a front.

Special counsel Jack Smith alerted the court to a social media post by former President Donald Trump in a filing that asks for a protective order so prosecutors can begin providing discovery to Trump’s legal team in the Jan. 6 case. Trump on Friday afternoon had posted a message to his social media platform, Truth Social, saying, "IF YOU GO AFTER ME, I'M COMING AFTER YOU!" The message was posted hours after Trump swore in court that he would not attempt to intimidate witnesses.

Nearly two years ago, Virginia Republicans stunned the D.C. pundit class after mounting an electoral upset in the increasingly blue commonwealth. By capitalizing on issues like Covid lockdown policies and parental rights, the state GOP not only took control of the House of Delegates; it also swept in races for governor, lieutenant governor, and attorney general. Now, with the state rapidly approaching its upcoming General Assembly elections, the Republican Party of Virginia (RPV) is seeking to embrace a Democrat-favored election strategy in order to turn the state completely red this November. Barack Obama quietly huddled with Joe Biden at the White House on June 27 to discuss a strategy to defeat Trump in 2024. Obama privately warned Joe Biden about Trump’s massive popularity and promised he would do everything possible to help Biden get reelected, according to the Washington Post. Shortly after the Obama-Biden White House huddle, Trump was indicted again by the federal government. Joe Biden doesn’t have a real strategy to win in 2024. Biden doesn’t have a record to run on because inflation is still high, gas prices are still high and the majority of Americans believe the country is on the wrong track. Without the cover of Covid, social distancing, lockdowns,

It was a rough month for FOX News. For anyone who’s been paying any attention to what a post-Tucker Carlson landscape would look like at Fox News, two things are pretty apparent: That landscape is pretty barren. The suddenly-beleaguered news network has lost so many viewers, its stock was downgraded. Fox News is trying anything — or perhaps flailing about — in response to hemorrhaging viewers, including some shakeups to its primetime lineup. Following all of the recent turmoil FOX News has lost the trust of American conservatives. Only one-third of self-described conservatives trust FOX News the most. They may never gain back those former viewers. And it doesn’t appear to be a priority.

Of all the outrages in Biden special counsel Jack Smith’s latest indictment of Donald Trump — and there are many — the worst comes at the end of the 45-page screed’s Count One, the section titled “The Defendant’s Exploitation of the Violence and Chaos at the Capitol.” This is where Smith waves the bloody shirt. Smith intends to try Trump for the Capitol riot even though he hasn’t charged Trump for the Capitol riot. No rioting charge. No allegation of criminal incitement. No seditious conspiracy, no insurrection, no crime of violence of any kind. To levy such an allegation would have been untenable. Smith’s indictment hides the ball, as did the like-minded.

President Joe Biden vehemently denied ever talking business with his son, “or with anyone else” in the run-up to the 2020 election. On Sunday night, the New York Post reported on anticipated testimony from Hunter Biden’s former business partner, Devon Archer.

The tragic drowning death of former White House sous chef and the Obama family’s personal chef Tafari Campbell over the weekend is sadly similar to the premature demise of another White House kitchen veteran. Campbell’s death comes just eight years after Walter Scheib, who served as the White House Executive Chef from 1994 to 2005, was found partially submerged in a ravine in the New Mexico mountains on June 21, 2015. The 61-year-old Scheib was first reported missing by his girlfriend on June 14, one day after he failed to return from a hike near Taos Ski Valley. Scheib died from drowning, an autopsy later revealed.

Pence made the comments during a Sunday appearance on CBS' "Face the Nation," telling host Margaret Brennan that he had no plans to testify against Trump voluntarily, but left the door open nevertheless. "It is a matter of public interest, Mr. Vice President, if this case comes to trial, would you be a witness against the president?" Brennan asked. "You know, I didn't want anything to do with the January 6 committee. That was a partisan committee on Capitol Hill," Pence responded.

Stupidity is increasingly state-sanctioned. Since 2000, the Scottish government has felled around 1,700 trees on a daily basis, all to make way for “green” initiatives. Leave it to the government and their leftist abettors to harp on the “destruction of the environment” then chop down literal trees to create barren wastelands—all to make room for obtrusive, industrial, inanimate behemoths that obliterate all sorts of animal populations, and create massive amounts of environmental pollution (in production, maintenance, and disposal).

The way he talks, I see the camel’s mouth moving,” said Donnia, an independent from Illinois. “A meerkat,” said Milan, a New Hampshire Independent noted.
