Tafari Campbell’s drowning parallels
tragic death of Clinton chef

The tragic drowning death of former White House sous chef and the Obama family’s personal chef Tafari Campbell over the weekend is sadly similar to the premature demise of another White House kitchen veteran. Campbell’s death comes just eight years after Walter Scheib, who served as the White House Executive Chef from 1994 to 2005, was found partially submerged in a ravine in the New Mexico mountains on June 21, 2015. The 61-year-old Scheib was first reported missing by his girlfriend on June 14, one day after he failed to return from a hike near Taos Ski Valley. Scheib died from drowning, an autopsy later revealed.

When they first announced that a drowned black guy was found in OBungles back yard, I thought my hopes had found completion. But alas, no.

Cook badly for these people....and drown. These are not nice people, and crossing them, or discovering something that they don't want known, can be fatal.

Well, at least both chefs did not fall out of a window in a tall building. Chef #1 is in the Clinton 'body count.' Chef #2, hard to understand how a swimmer could drown in a pond. I am reminded of the John Grisham novel The Judge's List.

Both WH chefs. Both drowned but in far different incidents. Not really a parallel.

It seems that he did not in know how to swim, and did not use any safety gear ( vest etc)… he tragically drowned in 8 ft deep water.

#7 is correct. I did a little wind surfing back in my youth but always wore a PFD. It doesn’t take much to get disoriented, suck in a big amount of water, panic and die. It happens way too frequently in our lakes’ public swimming areas and, tragically, to a lot of kids. My sympathy to to the family.

If you noticed some tension in the room between Tucker Carlson and former Vice President Mike Pence during the recent Blaze Media presidential forum in Iowa, rest assured, the antipathy between the two men didn’t suddenly arrive due to a heated disagreement over America’s Ukraine policy. No, this level of animus was built up over several decades. The Dossier has acquired an advance copy of TUCKER, the new authorized biography of Tucker Carlson, which is set to hit bookstores on August 1. President Joe Biden vehemently denied ever talking business with his son, “or with anyone else” in the run-up to the 2020 election. In fact, Biden even fat-shamed an Iowa voter who approached the subject during the Democratic primaries. On the debate stage with Donald Trump, the former vice president peddled conspiracies of Russian interference when emails from Hunter Biden’s laptop revealed otherwise. On Sunday night, the New York Post reported on anticipated testimony from Hunter Biden’s former business partner, Devon Archer.

HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania -- Democratic control of the lower chamber of the state legislature slipped for the second time this session when State Rep. Sara Innamorato of Allegheny County announced she had resigned from office to focus on her run for Allegheny County chief executive in November. Her departure means the state House will once again be tied at 101-101. If you are having a hard time keeping score of how many times power has shifted since January when the legislature was sworn in, the session began with the Republicans holding a slim two-seat majority. That edge quickly evaporated the following month when the three vacant House seats,

Spain was plunged into political uncertainty Monday a day after Alberto Núñez Feijóo's conservative Popular Party narrowly won the country's national election but without securing the parliamentary majority needed to topple the five-year-old coalition government of Socialist Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez. The result means Feijóo can't claim outright victory, though he told his supporters he would try to form a government. That process is likely to take weeks or even months as Sánchez may also be able to secure support from smaller parties to form a governing coalition. A new election could also be called.

MADRID (AP) — Voters in Spain withstood soaring summer temperatures to vote Sunday in a general election that could make the country the latest European Union member to swing to the political right. The Interior Ministry said turnout was 40% at 2 p.m., 2.5% more than in the last elections in November 2019. Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez called the early election after his Spanish Socialist Workers Party and its far-left partner, Unidas Podemos, took a severe beating in local and regional elections in May. Sánchez has been premier since 2018.

LONDON (AP) — Environmentalists cautioned Britain’s main political parties on Sunday not to water down their climate change promises after a special election result widely seen as a thumbs-down from voters to a tax on polluting cars. The governing Conservatives suffered two heavy defeats in a trio of by-elections for House of Commons seats on Thursday. But they managed to win the third contest, for a suburban London district, by focusing on a divisive green levy imposed by London’s Labour Party mayor. The Ultra Low Emission Zone, or ULEZ, charges drivers of older gas and diesel vehicles 12.50 pounds ($16) a day to move around the city.

A number of politicians are stoking speculation that they could make late entries into the 2024 presidential race ahead of what’s shaping up to be a potential rematch between President Biden and former President Trump. Former Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan (R) became the latest figure to raise questions about a White House bid after he released a cryptic video this week that prompted murmurs about a possible third-party campaign. Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) has sparked similar questions for the past few months and in recent days.

The letter signed by over 1,000 Israeli Air Force personnel on Friday announcing they would suspend their reserve duty if the government continues pushing the judicial overhaul legislation is the most critical step taken by the pro-democracy protest movement thus far.  'We are defending Israel from an internal threat,' say military reservists    It comes at the 11th hour, just before the coalition led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu completes a key component of the judicial overhaul – revoking the reasonableness standard, which would deprive courts of the power to overturn government decisions that it deems unreasonable.

A damning FD-1023 document detailing then-Vice President Joe Biden’s Burisma bribery scheme was made public on Thursday by Sen. Chuck Grassley. The record shows Biden fired a Ukrainian prosecutor tasked with investigating the energy company his son was a board member of in exchange for a total of $10 million. Delaware prosecutors hid the document from IRS investigators who say it would have aided their tax crime probe. The FBI, similarly, stonewalled publicizing the bombshell form, which earned FBI Director Christopher Wray the ire of Grassley and other Republicans focused on exposing Biden family corruption.

The Florida law bans promotion of divisive concepts, based on race or sex, in the educational setting. Its language is similar to President Trump’s Executive Order 13950 which applied to the federal workforce but was withdrawn when Biden took office. Challengers claim that the Florida law chills the free speech rights of professors and therefore violates both the First Amendment and what is called “academic freedom,”

When Joe Biden tapped Kamala Harris to be his running mate in 2020, it was perhaps the most easily predicted vice presidential choice in recent memory. Biden had made it clear that after emerging from the most diverse Democratic presidential candidate field in history, he would select a woman to join him on the ticket. The dynamics of the Democratic Party, which relies heavily on the votes of African American women to win elections, made it seem likely that Biden would select a running mate from this demographic group, especially as the murder of George Floyd brought race issues to the top of the public agenda.

The tragic death of the Obamas' private chef Tafari Campbell has left family and friends reeling in shock and struggling to understand how he came into trouble on a seemingly calm body of water. Campbell, 45, was a competent swimmer who drowned on Sunday night while paddle boarding on the pond next to the Obamas' $12million home. The couple were not in the house at the time but were elsewhere on the island, their office confirmed today. Police do not suspect foul play, but many questions surrounding the accident remain unanswered.

Now they are altering the story to say they were indeed on the property. The Gateway Pundit reported Monday night that the body of a 45-year-old paddle boarder was found in a pond on Obama’s Martha’s Vineyard mansion.

Romney issued his call in a Wall Street Journal op-ed published Monday.
