Former Vice President Mike Pence suggested he would be willing to testify against former President Donald Trump in court if he is called upon to do so on Sunday.
Pence made the comments during a Sunday appearance on CBS' "Face the Nation," telling host Margaret Brennan that he had no plans to testify against Trump voluntarily, but left the door open nevertheless.
"It is a matter of public interest, Mr. Vice President, if this case comes to trial, would you be a witness against the president?" Brennan asked. "You know, I didn't want anything to do with the January 6 committee. That was a partisan committee on Capitol Hill," Pence responded.

He can't be deluded enough to think he will take the Primary. There's something else going on. FBI files?

First question, Mike was the process to certify the Electoral College votes done any differently in 2020 than in previous elections?
Did the normal process of challenges (which Democrats have used numerous times in previous elections) of Electoral electors happen in 2020?
If not, who changed that process and why?
Why do you think the Democrats determined they should establish a statute detailing what the VP can, and can't, do during the certification process of Electoral College votes?

Well Mike, its like this. You could not do your job as VP, what makes you think that we believe you would do your job as president?

I think his cheese has fallen off his crackers. I assume he has a good health insurance plan with mental health coverage. I suggest he use it. Stating he will testify is one thing. Stating he will testify and run for president is something else all together.

Just as Pence was a plant in the White House, so he is in the primary. He is there to keep the Never Trump fire stoked.

As most declared Republican voters are Trump supporters the “UniParty” and “ prayerful” Pence is a dead duck as far as ever being elected to a future Republican ticket for President!

It would be fun to find out whether he’s as good at ducking a well-aimed shoe as Bush was. Hopefully by a deranged leftist who he failed to appease.

What is all this "if he testifies" and "if he's willing"? If the Trump team wants his testimony, they issue a subpoena. A witness can appear voluntarily or be compelled to appear, but they can't just decide they would rather not.

Pence will be testifying. He just admitted that. But Pence won't be on the debate stage --- because he has nearly no support, and even that is declining every day. It is obvious to everyone that Pence has no campaign advisors.

To those who continually grouse about PDJT’S “choosing” Pence, PDJT was presented with three choices for running mate: Pence Gingrich and Christie. Pence: Midwestern, conservative, experience as governor and representative, pledged loyalty…what could go wrong? Now we know. 20-20 hindsight.
He did not have a wide open absolutely personal choice (the VP nominee has often been chosen by the same convention that nominates the presidential canddate)...

When Pence arrives in ourt, whom will he salute with “VP Pence reportiing for duty”? Will little karen sport an orchid corsage as she adores him from the front row (and glares at PDJT)? (I just read “Sense and Sensiility”… these characters are right out of Jane Austen)….

Mr. Ps call "We will respond to the call" reminds me of summer camps in the woods. Must be in his memory ... Mr P needed to find his place in the woods and let go with whatever." Still say he's been having too many lunches with the Bushies.
