Kentucky voters weigh in on McConnell’s
health scare

Original Article

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell spoke Saturday at the Fancy Farm picnic, one of Kentucky’s classic political events, but his remarks were largely drowned out by jeers from the Democratic side of the crowd, who stomped their feet and yelled, “RETIRE,” and “DITCH MITCH” as he spoke. McConnell’s appearance at the picnic comes amid recent questions about his health and political future. Late last month, he froze mid-sentence during a press conference in the US Capitol and had to be led away from the podium by his fellow senators and his aides. The Republican leader, 81, later returned and answered questions from the press, telling CNN’s Manu Raju, “I’m fine.”

CNN? Why bother!? I'm no fan of McConnell , but CNN will never say ANYTHING complementary to any Republican unless the Republican does something stupid to try to be liked by Democrats in the propagandistic bureaus posing as news agencies.

#8. I agree with you. They stay so they won't be found out. One of my own Senators, Collins R -ME, is a millionaire after marrying her longtime boyfriend who was.... a lobbyist. She married into "money".. The other Maine Senator, Angus King who claims to be independent but everyone knows he;'s a Democrat, became a millionaire after his governorship by starting a business to make consumers aware of energy saving. The company was purchased shortly after that by Central Maine Power.. for millions. CMP could have started the consumer company without King. Payoff.... sweetheart deal. If you weren't a millionaire before you went to the Senate, your stupid if you don't leave as a millionaire (or maybe you're honest?).

What should happen... when it is virtually impossible for the defendant to get an impartial jury in that state or district? The prosecution of Donald Trump for the events around January 6, 2021 would seem to call for a change of venue. The District of Columbia is the most extreme Democratic district in the country. Approximately 95% of the potential jurors register and vote Democrat. Whereas approximately 5% voted for Trump. Furthermore, the anger against Trump is understandable in light of the fact that the events of January 6th directly involved many citizens of the district.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Donald Trump’s defense attorney says the former president never asked Mike Pence to overturn the will of the voters in the 2020 election, but only wanted the former vice president to “pause” the certification of votes to allow states to investigate his claims of election fraud. Those baseless claims had already been rejected by numerous courts.Speaking on several Sunday morning news shows, Trump attorney John Lauro said Trump was within his First Amendment rights when he petitioned Pence to delay the certification on Jan. 6, 2021.

Donald Trump's GOP support has been on the rise while he has been indicted 3 times by multiple prosecutors. AFP via Getty Images It is an article of faith in the political world that Democrats’ legal jihad against Donald Trump has the perverse goal of assuring he becomes the Republican presidential nominee. The Dems’ reasoning is that prosecuting Trump will make him unbeatable in the primaries and unelectable in the general election. It’s a clever, jujutsu-style move that aims to elevate the opponent before flattening him. And the plan is working, with Trump’s GOP support growing into a dominant majority while he has been indicted three times by Democratic prosecutors.

The New York Times asked readers what type of animal President Joe Biden would be, and the answers are brutally honest. The results weren’t pretty, given the people answering the question didn’t hold back their honest thoughts on the 80-year-old president. Dinosaur, hippopotamus, and a sloth were just a few of the answers given when describing the president who forgets where he is more than he remembers— and Democrats expressed these about Biden. “A camel. The way he talks, I see the camel’s mouth moving,” said Donnia, an independent from Illinois. “A meerkat,” said Milan, a New Hampshire Independent noted.
