Liz Cheney at Reagan Library: ‘Men Are
Running the World and It Is Really Not
Going that Well’

Original Article

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) further strutted her woke posturing at the Reagan Presidential Library, where she said the world “is really not going that well” under male leadership. As part of the “Time for Choosing” speaker series, Liz Cheney briefly honored former President Ronald Reagan before segueing into a diatribe against former Donald Trump, calling him a “dangerous and irrational man.” Cheney also characterized Republican leadership as being loyal to the former president at the expense of the Constitution. Towards the tail-end of her speech, Cheney celebrated that which gives her the most hope for the future: “young women.”

It's never really goes well. The difference now is the purposeful destruction of this country by people like you who have a grudge against the world for whatever the reason. You and your fellow politicians are destroying this country, on purpose. You owe us all an apology.

Yeah, 'cause Hatshepsut and Cleopatra of Egypt, Queen Victoria, Bloody Mary of England, Queen Isabella, Empress Wu Zetian of China, Ilse Koch Born (ran Buchenwald concentration camp), and Catherine the Great were all real prizes. Not to mention Idhira Gandhi. Such sexist claptrap.

Yeah that’s what we need is more women in govt. I remember the year of the woman when Murray and Cantwell were elected and it’s gone downhill ever since. No more passing budgets, foul mouthed members like the Squad with no respect, and every lib hiding behind their “gender” whenever they get criticized. We don’t need that kind of leadership but that’s what we’re getting. The results we were promised have fallen far short.

Don’t you have an Inquisition you’re supposed to be persecuting, Lizardo? Are you claiming bidet is a “man”? But as #1 observed, the world is always a difficult place. But there are times when competent people try to face the problems. You are one of those people who demonize others and claim they are the problem, rather than providing solutions. Name calling and demonizing is easier than deploying real solutions, fool, and they are the full extent of your strategy and ability.

Human beings are, overall about 90% pretty good people. But there are certain subgroups, with much intersection who really wreck it for the rest of us. This has been so for 10,000 years and more. The criminal class and the politicians are two of the worst, with much overlap. Liz is a perfect example of the political class who is destructive, venal and needs to be banished from normal human activities.

Not for nothing, but young, college-educated women generally support the unstable, progressive dems that have delivered the mess we are in. It's not a surprise that Liz feels this way because she obviously doesn't belong in the Republican party. Why doesn't she stop pretending and join the dems. After her J6 farce, no one wants her in the Republican party anyway. If she hates men, as she seems to, no man should vote for her unless you are a masochist. An elected official should be able to respect and support both men and women in their constituency.

When the country had real men in control, the United States won wars and rebuilt defeated countries. We didn’t allow our troops to be dishonored and humiliated when they returned home. We didn’t need open borders to allow people to enter this great country, they wanted to live in their own countries. The Cheney’s of the world would rather stand on our flag rather than fly it from the highest flagpole. Semper Fi 4th of July, America

Actually Liz, as a woman myself, I have to disagree. The world was a much more civilized and orderly place when the majority of people in influential positions were men. There was much more attention to objectivity and critical thinking, as opposed to rule by emotions. The over- feminism of the culture has not yielded very good results.

The Texas-based company vowed to offer maternity and paternity leave to employees who have children, as well as cover the costs of their female employees giving birth. The company also promised to help out employees seeking to adopt children. "Secular companies are paying the travel costs for employees to abort babies out-of state," Buffer wrote in a Facebook post. If you look hard enough, you can find white supremacy in anything. This is the lesson of critical race theory, which was developed in order to root out white supremacy from all of American society and culture. It appears to those of us who consider ourselves “ordinary” that sometimes, CRT proponents get a little too enthusiastic and perhaps look a little too hard to find white supremacy. Maybe sometimes, it’s not even there. This might be the case in Oregon, where the Oregon Health Authority’s office for equity and inclusion delayed a meeting with a partner agency on the grounds that “urgency is a white supremacy value.”

I wasted 20 years of my life chasing utopian energy. Utopian energy is an imagined form of energy that’s abundant, reliable, inexpensive, and also clean, renewable, and life-sustaining. But utopian energy is as much a fantasy as a utopian society. Seeking the fount of perfect energy allows us to pretend there aren’t real-world tradeoffs between, say, banning fossil fuels and helping people in impoverished nations or between using solar and wind power and conserving natural habitats. For years, I chased utopian energy. I promoted solar, wind, and energy efficiency because I felt like I was protecting the environment.

Infectious disease experts and public health advocates are warning that the Biden administration has been too slow to respond to the monkeypox outbreak and that the U.S. is at risk of losing control of the disease. The response to monkeypox is mirroring the worst parts of the early days of the coronavirus pandemic, they say, with severely limited testing and a sluggish rollout of vaccines leading to a virus that’s spreading undetected. “Where we have lagged is streamlining testing, making vaccines available, streamlining access to the best therapeutics.(Snip)Unlike COVID-19, monkeypox is not a novel virus, and the strategies to reduce the spread are well known.

Because Independence Day always makes for a slow news weekend, that leaves room for looking at and thinking about other news stories that wouldn’t normally make the grade at American Thinker. The one that caught my eye was the Daily Mail’s huge photo essay showing the wedding of Charlotte Freud, one of Rupert Murdoch’s granddaughters, to Luke Storey, a rapper. It was held in the exquisitely picturesque English Cotswold district but the photos are a testament to the death of beauty in the modern era. If you like things that are quintessentially English, the Cotswold district is the place for you:

President Joe Biden celebrated Independence Day on Monday, but expressed disappointment about ongoing gun violence and the Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. “Liberty is under assault, both here and abroad,” he said, alluding to the Supreme Court. “In recent days, there’s been reason to think this country is moving backward, that freedom is being reduced, that rights we assumed were protected are no longer.” The president delivered a speech to the American people from the White House as part of a barbecue with military service members.

Vice President Kamala Harris likened the end of Roe v. Wade to slavery by saying that the Supreme Court's ruling was an example of the United States government 'trying to claim ownership over human bodies.' Harris made the comparison while speaking at the Essence Festival in New Orleans on Saturday. 'We have to recognize we're a nation that was founded on certain principles that are — that are grounded in the concept of freedom and liberty,' she told the crowd. 'We also know that we've had a history in this country of government trying to claim ownership over human bodies. And we had supposedly evolved from that time

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg is under fire from fellow Democrats for flight delays and cancellations that have paralyzed the nation’s airports, wrecked holiday travel plans and caused Americans undue financial stress. Progressive lawmakers, in particular, say Mr. Buttigieg needs to do more to rein in airline companies that have taken billions in public subsidies since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. “It’s time for the Transportation Department to impose massive fines on poor-performing airlines,” said Sen. Bernard Sanders, a self-described socialist from Vermont. In an email to supporters, Mr. Sanders called on the White House and Mr. Buttigieg to require airlines to refund passengers for flights delayed more

Jump out of a perfectly good airplane, charge a machine gun nest, be stationed at Ft. Irwin – these are just three of the myriad miseries American patriots are willing to endure to defend our country. But today's military is asking too much of our young people, as evidenced by the crashing recruitment rates that threaten to deplete a military already running short of soldiers. Have our young people suddenly turned from heroes to zeros, ne'er-do-well heirs of the brave warriors who confronted the forces of tyrannical gun control at Lexington and Concord?

The man suspected of killing six people and wounding more than a dozen others during a July 4th parade in Highland Park is a Donald Trump-supporting rapper with a seemingly-successful music career. Robert 'Bobby' Crimo III, 22, goes by the moniker, Awake the Rapper, in his music career. According to his Spotify page, he boasts more than 16,000 listeners per month and has a net worth of $100,000. The rap career has taken on a chilling relevance in the wake of the shooting.
