Representative Liz Cheney left the door open on the possibility of a 2024 presidential run on Sunday. Following last year's attack on the U.S. Capitol, the Wyoming Republican emerged as one of the most vocal critics of former President Donald Trump within the Republican Party. She also sits on the House select committee that is investigating the January 6 attack, and has warned against what she views as Trump's negative influence on both the country and GOP. During an interview on ABC News' This Week, journalist Jonathan Karl asked Cheney if she plans to run for president in 2024 "as

Comments:

She's knows the media would gush all over her. But I don't think she could tolerate any scrutiny from other candidates.

Amen, OP. She must think that she’s the new John McCain. The enemedia will support her until it’s no longer beneficial to them and then they will sneak up behind her with a garrot. It looks like she will lose in the primary, so what makes her think that she has any hope nationally? She is anathema to conservatives. She’ll be about as successful as Michael Bennett. Anyone remember who he is? The first demonrat candidate to drop out of the 2020 race.

Will Liz run as a lib or GOP? With choices on the dem-side like Hillary Clinton, Michelle (Mooch) Obama, Howard Stern, Meghan Markle, Liz (Lizzie Borden) Cheney, AOC, Ilhan (I married my brother and I liked it) Omar, Matthew McConaughey, I like the chances of the GOP more and more of a landslide lib blow-out even though the GOP's have a tendency of stealing defeat from the jaws of victory.

Liz Cheney was hand picked by Pelosi after Pelosi for this witch hunt committee, which makes her pure poison as the Republican nominee. It is hard to believe that she is this stupid to believe that she could win the nomination. The only chance she would have is to switch parties. After all, the Democrats voted Biden, the poster child for a stupid candidate, into office. I believe a Cheney/Harris ticket would be perfect for the Democrats.

If she should, by some miracle or criminal act, become the nominee her father's association with Haliburton and other schemes will come to haunt her. The dems would love to have her run and probably will pay to have her nominated in open election states where you don't have to be a member of the party to nominate a candidate. She has no soul.

The White House is pushing back against her coach's claim that WNBA player Brittney Griner would be released now from her detainment in Russia if she were a straight man. President Biden is finding himself largely powerless to address a spate of setbacks in recent weeks that have sparked alarm among Democrats about the state of the country. Biden has been dealt blow after blow in recent weeks: The Supreme Court struck down Roe v. After redistricting carved up the House seat in Oregon that centrist Democratic Rep. On May 17, Schrader fell victim to a redrawn map that chopped up the 5th Congressional District that he currently represents, which includes parts of Oregon's central coast. It’s a fairly common phenomenon, though we normally see it with adolescents and teenagers. They bite the hand that feeds them, then come back with their tails between their legs pleading for help. The 14-year-old lashes out at Dad for making him cut the lawn, then asks him for $200 for a new pair of Adidas shoes that same afternoon. The newly licensed driver says, “Yeah, yeah, yeah” on her way out the door with the car keys as Mom reminds her to drive safely, and then calls home in tears two hours later after she gets into a fender-bender. And the 19-year-old college freshman gets punched at a rally

For many readers, the above title will conjure up memories of the 2008 housing crash caused by the proliferation of subprime mortgages and the subsequent tsunami of defaults. But a better corollary for the coming Biden bust is the Carter crash that occurred three decades earlier. During the final two years of Carter’s term, sales of existing and new homes collapsed because the Fed was forced to raise interest rates sharply to get double-digit inflation under control. This, in turn, produced double-digit mortgage rates that priced millions of potential buyers out of the market.
