Vice President Kamala Harris likened the end of Roe v. Wade to slavery by saying that the Supreme Court's ruling was an example of the United States government 'trying to claim ownership over human bodies.' Harris made the comparison while speaking at the Essence Festival in New Orleans on Saturday. 'We have to recognize we're a nation that was founded on certain principles that are — that are grounded in the concept of freedom and liberty,' she told the crowd. 'We also know that we've had a history in this country of government trying to claim ownership over human bodies. And we had supposedly evolved from that time

Funny how liberals are so against slavery but do NOTHING about global slavery. Slavery still exists and yet I never hear about libs denouncing that. They just hate America. It really has nothing to do with slavery for them. Dems still are the party of Jim Crow and the KKK. They are the racists. Ever wonder why the inner cities, run by dems, never get better? They still believe in keeping the POC on their plantation. They hate Trump but love biden, who literally gave a eulogy for a dem senator KKK member. Actually slavery DOES still exist today in many countries. Amazing how dems always talk about past slavery in America but never once say "let's stop slavery around the world today". Because they REALLY do not care about SLAVERY. They care about hating America and want more money.

FTA...'Although she didn't explicitly reference the horrors of slavery, Harris is widely-believed to have been referring to the United States' grim past of buying and selling black people.' How DARE the Daily Mail, a Brit newspaper, criticize the U.S. for having slavery for the first 83 years of our existence. I googled the history of slavery by Britain and this is part of what I found...'The British put serious effort into buying, transporting and selling as many slaves to the colonies as they could. This was the real origin of what we call the trans-Atlantic slave trade, the massive enslavement and transportation of people from West Africa into the American colonies.' Also, quoting Harris...'we're a nation that was founded on certain principles that are — that are grounded in the concept of freedom and liberty,' No, you knucklehead, we're a nation that was founded on the principles of LIFE, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. Read the damn Constitution. How convenient she didn't mention the Life part. Right?

Abortion is more like slavery, people claiming ownership of each other's bodies. It's mothers who are either choosing for themselves or having pressure on them to kill the baby in them. "My Body My Choice" pretends it isn't somebody else's body that's being killed. Sure, your body is yours. But do not harm the baby's body.

For a supposed lawyer, Harris not only can’t think on her feet, but she can’t even acknowledge that slavery was abolished by constitutional amendment, whereas Roe was made up out of whole cloth. Want constitutional abortion rights? Try amending the Constitution—I dare you! Dem politicians claim that there’s overwhelming support for expansive abortion rights, but they’re scared spitless of actually having a public debate about it.

He had no material that was responsive to the subpoena, as he claims, leading to demands by the judge and the office of New York Attorney General Letitia James that his attorneys provide detailed explanations of how they conducted their search.
