Buffer Insurance condemned "secular" companies' response to the end of Roe v. Wade, vowing instead to support female employees who get pregnant and even cover the costs of giving birth. The Texas-based company vowed to offer maternity and paternity leave to employees who have children, as well as cover the costs of their female employees giving birth. The company also promised to help out employees seeking to adopt children. "Secular companies are paying the travel costs for employees to abort babies out-of state," Buffer wrote in a Facebook post. "Today we are announcing that Buffer will pay the costs for our employees who birth babies."

Buffer Insurance is a perfect name for these these purveyors of a brilliant tactic in our current spiritual warfare. Those who promote death have been checked by those who support life and family. A buffer zone has been created that gives other mid-sized companies an example to follow. Those will be the companies necessary to build a parallel or secondary economy such as was developed in Poland prior to Solidarity. That may be a necessary step for us in our resistance against the Deep State. When Schmucky Schumer screamed about releasing the whirlwind, he had little awareness it was a self-prediction of the future of the Left's Marxist dream of AmeriKa. They played their hand too rough, too fast and too hard. They came after our kids. We will not go gently into their horrible nightmare. Saddle up Buckaroos. Its time to play Cowboys and Commies. Its Ultra MAGA time!

The January 6 Committee appears to have stepped in another political cow pattie. (snip) Hutchinson may have misidentified a Trump Administration DOJ attorney — whose house was subsequently tossed, and all of whose electronics were confiscated by the Department of Justice. All while he was forced to stand outside in his pajamas. Oopsie! Mike Davis, a D.C. attorney, former Supreme Court clerk, and leader of the Article III Project, says he believes the aide mistook “J Clark” in the White House logs for DOJ Assistant Attorney General Jeff Clark instead of Trump’s former campaign aide and White House public liaison, Justin Clark.

If you look hard enough, you can find white supremacy in anything. This is the lesson of critical race theory, which was developed in order to root out white supremacy from all of American society and culture. It appears to those of us who consider ourselves “ordinary” that sometimes, CRT proponents get a little too enthusiastic and perhaps look a little too hard to find white supremacy. Maybe sometimes, it’s not even there. This might be the case in Oregon, where the Oregon Health Authority’s office for equity and inclusion delayed a meeting with a partner agency on the grounds that “urgency is a white supremacy value.”

The January 6 committee’s key witness, Cassidy Hutchinson, called the committee “bs” in a text message obtained exclusively by the Daily Caller. On Feb 1. Hutchinson sent a text to a conservative activist with connections to the First Amendment Fund, which is a group started by the American Conservative Union that helps Trump officials cover costs for Jan. 6 lawyers. Matt Schlapp said Hutchinson approached CPAC for help through the First Amendment Fund. Schlapp said he is happy they did not end up assisting her because she was relaying White House “hallway gossip as fact.”

Disney could soon lose exclusive rights to its most iconic cartoon character as Mickey Mouse's 95-year copyright is set to expire in two years. Mickey will become available for the public domain in 2024 under U.S. copyright law that states intellectual property on artistic work expires 95 years after first publication. Mickey Mouse first appeared in the 1920s and has become both the symbol for media conglomerate Disney and one of the most recognizable animated characters.

A Seattle man was arrested for reading aloud the Gospel of Saint Matthew in a public park as a “Gay Pride*” event was taking place. Matthew Meinecke, often referred to as a “street preacher,” was on public property reading aloud from the Bible without the benefit of amplification when he was rousted and then arrested by Seattle’s finest. (snip) according to reports, the Seattle city prosecutor does not plan on charging Meinecke for anything. This reveals the true purpose of the arrest was to silence Meinecke so the Gay Pride bunch wouldn’t be upset.

The women’s Bible group leader leaned close to me. She lowered her voice. “You know, abortion was intended to be a form of genocide against Black people and Brown people.” The implication was that she, as a Latina woman, and I had a special duty to our races — that fighting abortion was a form of fighting racism. “Did you know that Margaret Sanger wanted to exterminate us?” It was 2010, I was 22 and this was evening ladies’ Bible study at the evangelical church I attended in a Dallas suburb. The women were planning a pilgrimage to an antiabortion march.

Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s fiery rhetoric over the Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. As part of the “Time for Choosing” speaker series, Liz Cheney briefly honored former President Ronald Reagan before segueing into a diatribe against former Donald Trump, calling him a “dangerous and irrational man.” Cheney also characterized Republican leadership as being loyal to the former president at the expense of the Constitution. Towards the tail-end of her speech, Cheney celebrated that which gives her the most hope for the future: “young women.”

I wasted 20 years of my life chasing utopian energy. Utopian energy is an imagined form of energy that’s abundant, reliable, inexpensive, and also clean, renewable, and life-sustaining. But utopian energy is as much a fantasy as a utopian society. Seeking the fount of perfect energy allows us to pretend there aren’t real-world tradeoffs between, say, banning fossil fuels and helping people in impoverished nations or between using solar and wind power and conserving natural habitats. For years, I chased utopian energy. I promoted solar, wind, and energy efficiency because I felt like I was protecting the environment.
