Murdoch family wedding photos show how

Because Independence Day always makes for a slow news weekend, that leaves room for looking at and thinking about other news stories that wouldn’t normally make the grade at American Thinker. The one that caught my eye was the Daily Mail’s huge photo essay showing the wedding of Charlotte Freud, one of Rupert Murdoch’s granddaughters, to Luke Storey, a rapper. It was held in the exquisitely picturesque English Cotswold district but the photos are a testament to the death of beauty in the modern era. If you like things that are quintessentially English, the Cotswold district is the place for you:

Bridal dresses everywhere are often so revealing that they are a parody. Same for bridal party dresses. But this wedding party “takes the cake.”

One thing not mentioned in the piece, but it was in the article, is that both of these creatures were druggies. Drugs sure take the beauty out of things. I wonder what Murdoch and all the frowning hags at that wedding were thinking.

Excellent comments on beauty in the article and how important it is to society. FTA ‘’we are hardwired for beauty’’ so we know it when we see it and it is worth saving. I’m also glad she defended Jordan Peterson.

Money can buy a lot of stuff. But common sense, a sense of decency and style, modesty, elegance. grace cannot be purchased as evidenced from this video. Talk about white trash. This makes the last Kardashian wedding look fabulous, which it wasn't.

What a freakshow! The dude in the bridesmaid dress, with his junk clearly delineated (and to make sure you noticed that his transition wasn't complete, in one pic he was cradling it,) was too much for me. Wish I hadn't clicked the Daily Mail link. Marriages are supposed to be serious commitments, and were once celebrated with beauty, solemnity, and joy. Now, it seems like the more outrageous, the better. My niece (by marriage) had a "theme" wedding, with the theme being some stupid video game that included meatloaf helmets and urinal cakes. I wouldn't debase myself to go. I scheduled a hysterectomy for that week instead.

The Bentley with heart & devil horns on the door delivering the bride, with Beetle Juice tattoo, to the church building for her gothic subculture themed wedding. She and her groom are apparently aspiring musical artists. A comment beneath DM pictures (paraphrased) - “easy to see why circuses are disappearing…can’t compete with reality.” But, the comparison to a carnival side show seems more appropriate. It’s all really sad beneath the ludicrous face of it. But, we all are free moral agents making our own choices. We reap our rewards and suffer our consequences regardless of our station in life. God help us all.

I looked up further pictures of that wedding. Her wedding cake had black and white checkerboard pattern with black roses. Rupert Murdoch was dressed in all white with red tie and red shoes. A heart with horns tattoo is on her chest and the same symbol is on the car. Hairy chested man in dirty white tennis shoes is in a brides made dress. In one photo, he is grabbing his own crotch. The rest of the brides maids look like would be found in a typical wedding. What appears to be symbols of some sort are on the front of the car they drove away in. Trying to research the symbolism, I came across some pretty disturbing stuff.

When you think of the world's "deadliest land crossing," what springs to mind? Perhaps the Stalag-like border around North Korea? The jungly narcoguerrilla-infested Colombia-Venezuela border? Perhaps the swampy predator-infested Colombia-Panama Darien Gap? Maybe the Israel-Gaza line? Some nightmare crossing full of child soldiers around the Central African Republic? The Afghanistan-Pakistan land crossing? There are a lot of hellholes out there that make good candidates. But according to a United Nations agency, looking at the objective numbers, the honor goes to Joe Biden and his open border -- now the world's deadliest land crossing. According to the Epoch Times: The U.S.-Mexico border has become the world’s “deadliest” land crossing,
