As abortion rights collapse, Black and
Brown women will suffer most

The women’s Bible group leader leaned close to me. She lowered her voice. “You know, abortion was intended to be a form of genocide against Black people and Brown people.” The implication was that she, as a Latina woman, and I had a special duty to our races — that fighting abortion was a form of fighting racism. “Did you know that Margaret Sanger wanted to exterminate us?” It was 2010, I was 22 and this was evening ladies’ Bible study at the evangelical church I attended in a Dallas suburb. The women were planning a pilgrimage to an antiabortion march.

This woman is so full of bovine excrement that it's coming out of her ears and leaking out of her mouth. “High risk” pregnancies? Is that all she’s got? And by the way, it’s just as “safe” to get pregnant in Texas now as it was a couple of weeks ago. A pregnant woman can get first-class medical care most anyplace in that state, right up through delivery and postpartum care. Oh, and by the way, Karen: Margaret Sanger WAS a eugenicist and a racist.

Gosh too bad women will suffer. Think a baby in the womb suffers as it's being pulled apart piece by piece and vacuumed out into a catch basin? Tell me about suffering. A pregnant woman got pregnant by choice. God blessed them with a life he created and knew before the earth was formed. These aborted babies are known only to GOD. Do not play the suffering card ok. Abortion is child sacrifice, murder, and an abomination and a sin against God and is not to be considered another choice as a birth control method.

Jenna Ellis, an attorney who advised then-President Donald Trump as he tried to overturn the 2020 election results, was censured for misconduct Wednesday by a Colorado Supreme Court judge. The Colorado Supreme Court’s Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel said that Ellis violated a Colorado rule for professional conduct that prohibits “misrepresentation” by attorneys. The office said Ellis made a series of public statements about the 2020 election that were false. “The public censure in this matter reinforces that even if engaged in political speech, there is a line attorneys cannot cross, particularly when they are speaking in a representative capacity,” the office said in a statement.
