The Navy is threatening to penalize sailors who purposely misuse pronouns to describe transgender service members, viewing it as a violation of the service's harassment policy. Sailors who run afoul of the policy could face administrative or judicial action under the Uniform Code of Military Justice, Navy Capt. Plus they can't call our enemies names like Japz or Krautz - - the way they used to. They must be called "persons of Chinese and Persian ancestry" - - before lobbing their environmentally-friendly, non-toxic hand grenades at them.

The US military, once a meritocracy, home to some of the country's best and brightest, has become a hollow, woke image of its former status of the world's strongest force for peace in the world. Thank you, Barak Obama and the insane left for making the world a far more dangerous place.

Yet another example of how desperate our military is for recruits. Normal Americans surely don’t want any part of the Biden military fiasco, a military where you risk punishment for not saying “Yes, they” and “No, they” to a transgender officer,

We need TERM LIMITS now and not later. We are going to get them I just don't know where I'll still be alive!!??? My suggestions; Twelve years in the Senate. Ten years in Congress. And MOST IMPORTANT!!! Ten years for ALL of the life long Hangers-on who are, in my opinion, the biggest problem!!

The irony here is the pride the military - including the Navy - takes in being gender neutral. Female officers even now wear the same combo covers as their male counterparts (and they look ridiculous in them). So, introduce a few confused individuals into the ranks and it's suddenly all about sexual choice. Had an XO once who tried coercing everyone to stop using what were even accepted nicknames for their shipmates: Petty Officer Groskowski could not be referred to as "Ski", Seaman Ragusa could not be referred to as "Rags", etc. It didn't last long.

I have a friend in the military who is trans-gender (and is also a conservative.) For reasons passing understanding, I can refer to as a "she" when she is not present, but as I consciously try, I screw it up when she is present. (I believe this is because our unconscious pattern identification abilities. For the most part, I can distinguish male/female when everyone is at MOPP-4 and almost always get it right.) She knows me and doesn't say anything about it. However, other friends of hers give me the snake-eye and the little talks about using her preferred pronouns. I agree with OP's comment, plus the Navy is going to have a lot of people up on charges.

A completely bogus waste of the Navy's time and energy---and they know it. The key word is "purposely." NOBODY can prove what was in someone else's mind at any given moment, so it's impossible to PROVE that someone purposely misused a pronoun. I can say, "you said "her" on purpose" and they can say, "No, I didn't", and just whom do you think is gonna win that argument? The Navy is promoting this drivel because they want to sound woke and oh-so-caring to badly-needed recruits. Ignore this stuff; it's utter nonsense.

Anyone remember Amy Schneider who was on Jeopardy? Very easy to refer to them as a female since that is all I ever known them as, but they were once male. Familiarity is a big factor.

He couldn't care less about the impact of foreign criminals on American citizens. The above are real problems. This administration demanding adults pretend a biological male is a female...or face the consequences...doesn't give Americans confidence in their feeble-minded president, or their military leaders.

"Conduct that is of a nature to bring discredit upon the Armed Forces or is prejudicial to good order and discipline" is cited as the reason for forcing people to use the PC pronouns. I can think of nothing more disruptive or discrediting to the good order and discipline of the military than a transgender person throwing a hissy fit over being called he or she instead of they/them or whatever creative pronoun they have come up with that day and everyone else being afraid of using the incorrect pronoun and receiving discipling. Everyone will just ignore that person to stay safe also destroying the cohesion of the military unit.

Born one sex, die that sex. Fantasies to the contrary notwithstanding. Their fantasies make them mentally deranged and should be incontrovertible proof that they cannot be trusted to do anything of a critical nature. Everything in the military is of a critical nature during war. Get the mentally ill out of the military.

One would hope that the deep bureaucracies would have learned their lessons on how not to respond to a new pathogen. There is no evidence they have. Regardless, the real problem is much deeper. It has to do with the status of the administrative state as the effective governing apparatus of the US. It’s not Congress and not the President. One of the most frustrating arguments the medical field has refined is the unacceptability of challenging any medical dogma because doing so “harms” patients. For example, I and many of my colleagues believe that the number one cause of infant mortality within the United States is the childhood vaccine schedule (which is also what is most clearly linked to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome), and that vaccines often fail to prevent infectious disease and that most of the diseases we vaccinate against are extremely rare or relatively harmless. However, the typical response by the mainstream medical community has been to label anyone who opposes any childhood vaccination as a “baby killer,“
