World Economic Forum: Gas Prices Must
Go Even Higher — to Save Democracy

Original Article

Posted By: LoveYourCountry, 7/11/2022 9:47:58 AM

The World Economic Forum (WEF) released a position paper Monday that inexorably links two claimed global crises as one – “climate change” and the “decline of democracy.” It says fighting the former can save the latter as long as consumers stop burning coal, oil, and gas in exchange for green renewables. The WEF paper argues for the past 15 years, democracy has been in decline worldwide. To protect and promote freedom, “leading democracies must strengthen their economies and safeguard liberty.”

None of this is accidental.

When all these climate elites all live in dark caves eating cold fish not using fire because it emits something into the atmosphere I might perk up and pay attention. When Al Gore sells his mansions and all the elites travel to meetings in sailboats using wind power get back to me on 'renewable energy'.

They are sending Biden and the leftist Democrats to the political trash heap in the USA by forecasting that Americans must pay much higher prices for gasoline in the future to pursue a socialist climate change agenda.

Democracy ("if you can keep it") means we have rigged elections that in effect put Klaus Schwab in charge of the USA. And we certainly were warned; everyone knew Bidet embraced the Green New Deal that was cooked up by AOC's handlers, and he did promise to destroy the energy sector, and enough ignoramuses voted for him to make it seem plausible.

Does the WEF believe in representative government? Doubtful. They want to be our masters. We will be their slaves. Provided they let us live at all. How heavily invested in oil is the WEF? How heavily invested in green? Follow the money. This has nothing to do with Democracy. These people are tyrants.

Wonder why "everyone" was against President Trump now? Ever wonder why China, India and Russia aren't as afraid of "climate change"? After all, don't they care too? Or, do most of the WEF folks believe their all stupid? And, wasn't it just a short while ago these same folks were championing "carbon off sets"? Now, it's "we need to get off all fossil fuels immediately". Yet, they have not figured out how to fly their planes or yachts without fossil fuels, which are plentiful and has lifted billions of people out of poverty.

FTA ... First, leading democracies should agree to end the underpricing of fossil fuels, which is the principal factor preventing a clean energy transition. It's NOT the underpricing of fossil furls idiots. It's the OVER pricing of wind and solar. You want affordable GREEN energy ? Produce some.

To protect and promote freedom, “leading democracies must strengthen their economies and safeguard liberty.” The paper goes on to argue that '..Compliance CAN AND MUST BE ENFORCED. . For so many Americans, particularly over the past ten years or so, politics is viewed as some sort of a game. You’re not voters, you’re fans, only the battle isn’t on a baseball field or a hockey rink, it’s within our government. It’s a phenomenon that has become increasingly evident on both sides of the political spectrum but is clearly more prevalent with our friends on the left. Just like we see with our favorite sports teams, so it is with our favorite political party or ideology. Perhaps next to a Georgia Bulldogs National Championship bumper sticker, we see a Biden-Harris decal displayed with equal pride.

Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson, the most electorally successful Conservative politician of his generation and perhaps since the days of Margaret Thatcher, will leave office in a similar fashion to the Iron Lady, ousted from power by members of his own government, including Chancellor of the Exchequer Nadhim Zahawi, whom Johnson had installed in the position just the day before. In the immediate future, Mr Johnson will likely stay on as “caretaker” Prime Minister

The Walt Disney Company has given us a multitude of justifications for canceling our Disney Plus subscriptions, throwing away our Lion King DVDs, and pledging to never spend another nickel with the increasingly far-left wokesters controlling the once-great corporation. There has never been a company more worthy of the mantra: Go Woke, Go Broke. But regarding the patronizing of one of their key revenue streams, Disney World, there’s another reason we can add to the growing list motivating us to stay away. That reason comes not from anyone at Disney itself, but rather from the government running the show in the city which Disney World calls home: Orlando, Florida.

Only 12 percent of respondents either did not approve or disapprove of the president. Thus, bringing his net job approval down to a negative 27. In fact, the poll also showed that Biden’s job approval is underwater in 48 states. The only two states in which he is above water are Hawaii (45 to 41 percent) and Vermont (44 to 39 percent).

he old adage, “Crime doesn’t pay” needs an update. In Democrat-run cities like San Francisco, New York, and Chicago, where soft-on-crime prosecutors and policies have taken hold, tone-deaf political elites drink their wine and eat their brie under the protection of security details at the taxpayer’s expense. Meanwhile, hard-working citizens and business owners are taking it on the chin. Their families aren’t safe to walk the streets, brazen shoplifters help themselves to whatever products they fancy at local supermarkets, and an overwhelming sense of lawlessness pervades everyday life. If you’re a regular citizen or business owner in a blue city, your mindset needs to be adjusted to, “Tolerating crime doesn’t pay.”

President Joe Biden’s approval ratings have been in a historic freefall since shortly after he took office. According to an Associated Press-NORC poll last month, Biden’s overall approval rating here in America was at 39%, a remarkable drop from the 63% he enjoyed in the months following his inauguration. Keep in mind, that the AP is a left-leaning polling outlet meaning that in reality, Biden’s popularity is likely even lower. Biden’s polling amongst Republicans is in the single digits, unsurprisingly, but independents overwhelmingly disapprove of the president, and his numbers are even down with Democrats. The trend is unmistakable. Americans think Biden is a lousy president. But what about internationally?

Failure to ensure the rule of law results in lawlessness, and soft-on-crime, leftist policies yield skyrocketing violent crime rates. On the West Coast, San Francisco may be leading the league in this phenomenon, but other cities such as Los Angeles, Seattle, and Portland aren’t far behind. In the Midwest, Chicago is the undisputed champion, though St. Louis and Milwaukee appear hellbent on giving them a run for their money. But what about the East Coast? New York’s new mayor Eric Adams has done his best to continue with predecessor Bill DeBlasio’s horrendous policies, as crime continues to surge in the Big Apple.

The Brittney Griner story has been one which tears at us from two sides. When we hear about an American being detained in a foreign country for offenses which are considered minor here in the U.S., we often become sympathetic, depending on the infraction, of course. And when we learn that the country holding that prisoner is an archrival or enemy such as China, Iran, North Korea, or Russia, our sympathies become that much stronger. In the case of Brittney Griner, however, things aren’t that simple. Griner, who has been detained in a Russian prison since her arrest at a Moscow airport for possession of cannabis oil
