One of the most frustrating arguments the medical field has refined is the unacceptability of challenging any medical dogma because doing so “harms” patients. For example, I and many of my colleagues believe that the number one cause of infant mortality within the United States is the childhood vaccine schedule (which is also what is most clearly linked to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome), and that vaccines often fail to prevent infectious disease and that most of the diseases we vaccinate against are extremely rare or relatively harmless. However, the typical response by the mainstream medical community has been to label anyone who opposes any childhood vaccination as a “baby killer,“

This anonymous author is a practicing general practitioner, if I recall correctly. I always read him because he touches on so many important issues and includes a lot of facts, all written in an easy-to understand style unusual for medical people. This one has a few shockers in it.

Chuck Grassley slams Justice Department

Ranking Senate Judiciary Committee member Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) slammed the Department of Justice on Monday for "repeated failure to prosecute employees" who were caught lying during internal investigations. "An unsettling pattern has emerged from the Department of Justice (DOJ) whereby criminal referrals by the Department of Justice, Office of Inspector General (OIG), against DOJ employees for making materially false statements are rarely prosecuted," Grassley wrote in a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland. Grassley said the "most shocking example of this pattern" occurred last month after the DOJ declined to bring charges against the former FBI agents who botched the investigation of Dr. Larry Nassar,

The way Ginni Thomas recalled it, she and her husband, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, were driving through upstate New York, by Lake George, when the red check engine light flickered on the dash of their 40-foot 1992 Prevost Marathon conversion coach. (Snip) In the book of interviews, Thomas said he never traveled much as a poor child in Georgia. Then, over 20 years ago, a friend encouraged him to see the country by mobile home, and he’s never looked back. Now more than ever, a month on the road looks to be a good thing for the judge and his wife.

It has long been a dictum of mine that, as far as the progressive Left is concerned, "they never stop, they never sleep, they never quit." After their twin defeats at the Supreme Court last week, regarding two of their most sensitive issues (both of which derive from their devotion to cultural suicide, which is their principal objective), don't expect them to give up easily. They subscribe to their version of Islamism or the Brezhnev Doctrine: once they've conquered moral or physical tparerritory, it can never go back to the way it was. They see themselves as the heroes of their own movies, good red-diaper babies constantly battling the forces

The Navy is threatening to penalize sailors who purposely misuse pronouns to describe transgender service members, viewing it as a violation of the service's harassment policy. Sailors who run afoul of the policy could face administrative or judicial action under the Uniform Code of Military Justice, Navy Capt. Dave Hecht, a public affairs officer, told American Military News. "Intentional misuse of transgender service member pronouns is inappropriate and inconsistent with the Navy zero tolerance policy on harassment," Hecht told the news site. "The UCMJ prohibits provoking speeches or gestures, conduct that is of a nature to bring discredit upon the Armed Forces or is prejudicial to good order and discipline,

If you listen to the mainstream media you will know that from time to time spontaneous peaceful protests break out in the nation focused on various social issues. You will also know that Antifa is largely a fiction of the ‘delusional right’ and that the real threat to the nation comes from a vast right-wing conspiracy driven by white supremacists. In short, you will know nothing. (Snip) What we saw in the infamous “summer of love” was the work of a nationwide network of highly organized anarchist and Marxist groups with the express purpose of destroying the nation as we know it. Their actions are meticulously planned and well supported.

The quality of evidence for the FDA's emergency use authorization (EUA) of COVID-19 vaccines for children as young as 6 months is drawing scrutiny from high-profile doctors and academics, some of whom are asking the White House not to pressure parents to vaccinate. With CDC seroprevalence data from February finding 75% of minors had natural immunity, more attention is going to the risk/benefit calculation of vaccines for the age group at lowest risk from COVID. Parents on the fence may find their hesitancy reaffirmed by new studies, not yet peer-reviewed, on the COVID infection fatality rate (IFR) by age and underlying health conditions and "serious adverse events of interest" following

Senator Ron Johnson heard about the letter and sent a letter dated June 15 to Dr. Richard Baron, President & CEO of the ABIM where he politely offered to host an expert panel of doctors in Washington DC to resolve what the science actually says, similar to the widely popular “A second opinion” panel he hosted, but this time with scientists on both sides. Note that Johnson’s original panel invited scientists on all sides but nobody was willing to support

Editor’s note: In these exclusive excerpts from the book “Created Equal: Clarence Thomas in His Own Words,” out Tuesday, author Michael Pack asks the Supreme Court justice about the influence of his maternal grandfather. (Snip) Pack: What happened on the other end, when you showed up to your grandparents’ house? Thomas: My grandfather was this myth. We saw him maybe once or twice when we lived on the West Side. But I was completely floored by what I learned about him—and from him—online. At first, to be honest, I worried this kid was just too good to be true. Here’s what I mean: When he was six, Cole—whose family owns a farm in Beryl, Utah—started taking on the repair and maintenance for his family’s vehicles. Both of his parents are disabled: his father is a wheelchair-bound veteran; his mother is partially blind.

“All political power comes from the barrel of a gun. The Communist Party must command all the guns; that way, no guns can ever be used to command the party.” The quote was from Mao Zedong, founder of Communist China. Mao’s first act after gaining complete control of China in 1949 was to take away all guns from the population. It was a policy he began in 1935 as he took over each rural province. Anyone found with a gun post-confiscation was executed. An estimated 65 million Chinese died as a result of Mao’s repeated, merciless attempts to create a new “socialist” China.

Joe Biden is letting one of the largest illegal migrant caravans in history move into the U.S., with no effort to stop it. Texas's governor, Greg Abbott, isn't. According to a very interesting report by Todd Bensman of the Center for Immigration Studies, the record-sized 15,000-strong caravan has run into interference from the Texas governor, and his counterpart in the adjacent Mexican state of Coahuila, who had the foresight to sign an agreement in April about border security. Bensman writes: (Snip) But now those thousands of federal permit holders have collided with an unusual and wide-ranging Coahuila State police roadblock operation that is systematically halting buses carrying the migrants

In case you were too busy caring about things that actually matter to notice, the January 6th committee is back in session. That came after its members announced an “emergency” hearing for Tuesday, including the inclusion of a “surprise” witness. Now, you’d think going through such pomp and circumstance meant they came across some damning new evidence proving their assertion that Donald Trump organized an insurrection. But if you thought that, you thought wrong. Rather, Tuesday’s hearing was another ridiculous parade of absurdity, full of hearsay and no hard evidence of essentially anything. Yet, one claim by a woman named Cassidy Hutchinson, a former Mark Meadows aide, truly took the cake.
