Ryan, a Republican, told journalist Mark Leibovich for his upcoming book "Thank You For Your Servitude" that he often did not cry but "something snapped in him" that day, CNN reported. "I spent my whole adult life in that building," Ryan said. "And I saw my friends, a lot of cops, some of my old security detail – I'm still friends with a bunch of those guys. A people mainly peacefully, firebomb and protest ... oh wait that was the riots across the country that COVID wouldn't infect because it was righteous. This were peaceful people and as I saw on TV walking through rope lines and escorted by the police and our congress men and former congressmen have a sh@t fit about. Not the riots that destroyed major cities.

When it became obvious to anyone with eyes and a brain that the election was being stolen and you knew, you just knew, they were going to get away with it. Paul Ryan knew that night too. But he was okay with it. The threat to "The System" had been removed.

Paul Ryan to me seemed to always be a RINO wimpy putz. I wanted someone with guts like Jim Jordan to be Speaker when that time came but here he was. No wonder big mouth Biden was able to walk all over him in their VP debate back in 2012. There was no fight in Ryan. When he was Speaker he did everything he could to stop MAGA while licking Pelosi's corrupt boots. I believe that sorry excuse for a RINO hates PDJT, Conservative and MAGA and loves to be liked by democrat dirtbag political hacks in our government and the fake news media. Gov. Gavin Newsom is pushing back on criticism and news stories about his family vacation to visit his in-laws in Montana for the Fourth of July. A law then-Gov. Jerry Brown signed in 2016 bans taxpayer-financed travel to Montana and other states with policies that discriminate on the basis of gender identity or sexual orientation. Among countless state and national headlines blasting the governor's visit to his in-law's ranch, FOX News dubbed it the latest example of Newsom "flouting his own state laws." When we hear about an American being detained in a foreign country for offenses which are considered minor here in the U.S., we often become sympathetic, depending on the infraction, of course. And when we learn that the country holding that prisoner is an archrival or enemy such as China, Iran, North Korea, or Russia, our sympathies become that much stronger. Shocking video footage has emerged of a young child repeatedly hitting a Minnesota cop who was there to arrest a murder suspect — calling the officer a “b—h” and telling his colleague to “shut the f–k up!” The clip released by Alpha News was filmed last week in St. Paul, a city that saw widespread rioting after the nearby police murder of George of Floyd and manslaughter of motorist Daunte Wright. “Shut up, b—h!” screamed the young child, who appeared to be only a few years old and wearing just underwear while standing in the street, with an even younger child in a diaper just behind him.

The Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) has warned power consumers in Texas to conserve energy on Monday afternoon and evening because there will not be enough wind power to operate the power grid reliably in peak demand. (Tweet) Though Texas is known for its role in the oil industry, it is also the nation’s number-one producer of wind energy. During a cold snap in the winter of 2021, however, wind turbines froze and many Texans found themselves without electricity. Now that scenario is likely to repeat itself, albeit due to high temperatures that are accompanied by calm conditions.

Fewer Americans than ever say that they believe that the Bible should be taken literally, while a record number of Americans now say they view the holy book as a compilation of "fables, legends, history and moral precepts recorded by man," according to a Gallup poll. One in five Americans surveyed said the Bible is the "actual word of God, to be taken literally," about half off from the high point in 1984. The survey also shows that as fewer Americans are ranking religion as "very important," the number of those who believe the Bible came directly from God decreases.
