'Big rig man' Clarence Thomas gets away
from it all

Original Article

The way Ginni Thomas recalled it, she and her husband, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, were driving through upstate New York, by Lake George, when the red check engine light flickered on the dash of their 40-foot 1992 Prevost Marathon conversion coach. (Snip) In the book of interviews, Thomas said he never traveled much as a poor child in Georgia. Then, over 20 years ago, a friend encouraged him to see the country by mobile home, and he’s never looked back. Now more than ever, a month on the road looks to be a good thing for the judge and his wife.

Comments:

No politics here, just Clarence and Ginny Thomas seeing America and talking to people. I can't imagine any other Supreme Court justice doing this typically American thing.

I would give almost anything to have a conversation with Clarence Thomas. He is a brilliant Constitutional Law practitioner, who suffers with the burden of explaining Constitutional Law to Chief Judas John Roberts, who is a C student, and the three leftist loons who just don't get it. He now will face the impossible task of dealing with Breyer's replacement, an ignorant woman who happens to be black. We should thank the memory of President George H.W. Bush, who appointed Justice Thomas.

Mobile home - tarted up name for what you find in what used to be called a trailer park Motor home, called an RV by most. A travel vehicle. Curiously, although Bedard erred, I’ll bet most of us knew exactly what he was referring to without any correction. We loved using an RV when we were racing. I remember a hilarious trip home to So Cal from Sonomoa raceway with an RV full of young boys. Through the streets of San Francisco at rush hour. They can be self-limiting, which is why you’ll see many towing a small car behind.

Ranking Senate Judiciary Committee member Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) slammed the Department of Justice on Monday for "repeated failure to prosecute employees" who were caught lying during internal investigations. "An unsettling pattern has emerged from the Department of Justice (DOJ) whereby criminal referrals by the Department of Justice, Office of Inspector General (OIG), against DOJ employees for making materially false statements are rarely prosecuted," Grassley wrote in a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland. Grassley said the "most shocking example of this pattern" occurred last month after the DOJ declined to bring charges against the former FBI agents who botched the investigation of Dr. Larry Nassar,

It has long been a dictum of mine that, as far as the progressive Left is concerned, "they never stop, they never sleep, they never quit." After their twin defeats at the Supreme Court last week, regarding two of their most sensitive issues (both of which derive from their devotion to cultural suicide, which is their principal objective), don't expect them to give up easily. They subscribe to their version of Islamism or the Brezhnev Doctrine: once they've conquered moral or physical tparerritory, it can never go back to the way it was. They see themselves as the heroes of their own movies, good red-diaper babies constantly battling the forces

The Navy is threatening to penalize sailors who purposely misuse pronouns to describe transgender service members, viewing it as a violation of the service's harassment policy. Sailors who run afoul of the policy could face administrative or judicial action under the Uniform Code of Military Justice, Navy Capt. "Intentional misuse of transgender service member pronouns is inappropriate and inconsistent with the Navy zero tolerance policy on harassment," Hecht told the news site. One of the most frustrating arguments the medical field has refined is the unacceptability of challenging any medical dogma because doing so “harms” patients. For example, I and many of my colleagues believe that the number one cause of infant mortality within the United States is the childhood vaccine schedule (which is also what is most clearly linked to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome), and that vaccines often fail to prevent infectious disease and that most of the diseases we vaccinate against are extremely rare or relatively harmless. However, the typical response by the mainstream medical community has been to label anyone who opposes any childhood vaccination as a “baby killer,“

If you listen to the mainstream media you will know that from time to time spontaneous peaceful protests break out in the nation focused on various social issues. You will also know that Antifa is largely a fiction of the ‘delusional right’ and that the real threat to the nation comes from a vast right-wing conspiracy driven by white supremacists. In short, you will know nothing. (Snip) What we saw in the infamous “summer of love” was the work of a nationwide network of highly organized anarchist and Marxist groups with the express purpose of destroying the nation as we know it. The quality of evidence for the FDA's emergency use authorization (EUA) of COVID-19 vaccines for children as young as 6 months is drawing scrutiny from high-profile doctors and academics, some of whom are asking the White House not to pressure parents to vaccinate. With CDC seroprevalence data from February finding 75% of minors had natural immunity, more attention is going to the risk/benefit calculation of vaccines for the age group at lowest risk from COVID. Parents on the fence may find their hesitancy reaffirmed by new studies, not yet peer-reviewed, on the COVID infection fatality rate (IFR) by age and underlying health conditions and "serious adverse events of interest" following

“All political power comes from the barrel of a gun. The Communist Party must command all the guns; that way, no guns can ever be used to command the party.” The quote was from Mao Zedong, founder of Communist China. Mao’s first act after gaining complete control of China in 1949 was to take away all guns from the population. It was a policy he began in 1935 as he took over each rural province. Anyone found with a gun post-confiscation was executed. An estimated 65 million Chinese died as a result of Mao’s repeated, merciless attempts to create a new “socialist” China.
