As remarkable as it may seem, this week marks Joy Behar’s first time atop our list of the week’s top knuckleheads. Though she’s made multiple appearances on our weekly tribute as an honorable mention, there had always been someone else whose knuckleheadedness had exceeded that of ‘The View’ co-host. This week, however, we simply could not ignore Behar’s idiocy as she appeared to be hellbent on taking the KOTW top spot. Therefore, congratulations Joy! You’ve done it… how proud you must be. Winner: Joy Behar achieves the not-so-rare idiot trifecta.

Considering the high-profile status that Florida’s Republican Governor Ron DeSantis has achieved, it’s easy to forget that he almost lost his state’s gubernatorial election four years ago. He may be the front runner to succeed Donald Trump as the GOP’s presidential nominee during the next election cycle should Trump decide to sit it out, but in 2018 Governor DeSantis barely squeaked by the Democrats’ candidate, former Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum.
Fortunately for Florida, and indeed for all Americans, DeSantis succeeded in defeating Gillum the last time around,

It wasn’t that long ago when the left’s narrative on ‘gay rights’ was simple, straightforward, and easy to support: Let’s all be tolerant of one another, live and let live, and don’t discriminate. Tolerance is, after all, one of the fundamental tenets of the philosophy which drove America’s founding. But as the saying goes, “give someone an inch and they’ll take a mile,” which is the situation in which we find ourselves today.

An armed California man incensed about the leaked Supreme Court draft opinion expected to overturn Roe v. Wade was arrested near Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s Maryland home Wednesday, officials and a report said.
The man, who was not identified, allegedly told police officers he wanted to kill Kavanaugh, the Washington Post reported.
In a statement, the Supreme Court said the man was armed and “made threats against Justice Kavanaugh.”
The suspect was taken to a local police station after he was arrested at about 1:50 a.m., the Court spokesperson said.
He was carrying an unspecified weapon and burglary tools, according to the Post.

Naturally, Donald Trump remains at the top of the conversation on the Republican side, but Ron DeSantis has become nearly as talked about as a probable challenger. The latter has burst onto the scene the last two years as a no-nonsense, fighter of a governor who also has a knack for making the liberal press look ridiculous. Those are skills that GOP voters love, and they’ve earned DeSantis high marks nationally from the Republican base. That he’s also become the leader in the culture wars has only caused his star to rise further.
Just how far has he risen? The first primary poll
Elections will not legitimize any government if they are rigged. We must end the absurdity whereby a private corporation can be hired to count our votes and then refuse to prove to us exactly how it got the final numbers. If the system is not completely transparent and auditable, you can never be confident in it. You can be completely justified in suspecting that it is fraudulent. When the public no longer trusts those who count the votes, then the outcome will be chaos.
The 2020 election was rigged, but it is not up to us to prove that.
