To paraphrase the great John Bradford, “There, but for the Grace of God, go we.” Considering the high-profile status that Florida’s Republican Governor Ron DeSantis has achieved, it’s easy to forget that he almost lost his state’s gubernatorial election four years ago. He may be the front runner to succeed Donald Trump as the GOP’s presidential nominee during the next election cycle should Trump decide to sit it out, but in 2018 Governor DeSantis barely squeaked by the Democrats’ candidate, former Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum. Fortunately for Florida, and indeed for all Americans, DeSantis succeeded in defeating Gillum the last time around,

And another Florida democrat just got out of prison and is running for congress again. Ex-convict Corrine Brown has decided to run for congress, after having been sent to prison for committing massive fraud and corruption. Brown was sentenced to five years in prison for making her charity a moneymaking proposition. Her charity took in an alleged $830,000 dollars and paid out just $1,200 in grants.

This guy was way in over his head just like the Biden goons are right now! He was also one of Hillary's super delegates and would be in DC as part of her goon-squad if Trump didn't crush her! Just a pretty face that fit the diversity slot - packed Tallahassee City Hall with other inepts who fit the diversity criteria and the City budget soared along with City taxes. Just watch the video that probably still around showing him mumbling in his hands while questioned over what he was doing during Hurricane Hermoine when he disappeared for days & blamed it on the TREES and refused to cooperate either with Gov Scott and the Leon County Administrators telling everyone he had it "under control!" Thankfully some had enough guts to show this guy's TRUE COLORS with his Miami escapades. Now he's the poster boy for the LGBTQ +++ and whatever crowd & still with the smiling pretty face ;)

For those of you who care, and we know very few of you do, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (aka Schmucky Chucky) from New York is indeed related to the irritating activist/actress Amy Schumer. The two happen to be cousins. But based on their propensities to say and do moronic things, they might as well be identical twins. Only six weeks ago, Senator Schumer was recognized as our week’s top knucklehead for forcing members of his party to cast votes on whether to allow abortions up until the time of birth, one of the most extreme and unpopular pro-abortion positions there is. Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon said the gunman who shot and killed two El Monte police officers had “no history of violence” as he defended how his office handled a recent weapons case against the cop killer. Shooter William Flores was out on probation – though he could have been behind bars — following a 2021 plea deal connected to a drugs and weapons arrest when he shot and killed El Monte Corporal Michael Paredes, 42, and officer Joseph Santana, 31 on June 14. Gascon, during Tuesday afternoon’s press conference, argued Flores’ criminal history “did not contain any evidence of violence,”

The failed presidential candidate — who insisted it was “out of the question” that she would run again — agreed when the Financial Times pointed out that her party appeared to be “losing focus by elevating activist causes” that “are relevant only to a small minority.” In particular, Democrats appeared fixated on the “transgender debate,”

A Louisiana judge gave an accused rapist custody of the child conceived from the 2005 attack and eventually ordered his underage victim to pay child support, a report said. Crysta Abelseth told WBRZ that she was raped at 16 years old when a man nearly twice her age promised to give her a ride home from a local restaurant after a night out with friends. “Instead of bringing me home, he brought me to his house,” Abelseth said about John Barnes, who was 30 at the time. “Once inside, he raped me on his living room couch.”

It wasn’t that long ago when the left’s narrative on ‘gay rights’ was simple, straightforward, and easy to support: Let’s all be tolerant of one another, live and let live, and don’t discriminate. Tolerance is, after all, one of the fundamental tenets of the philosophy which drove America’s founding. But as the saying goes, “give someone an inch and they’ll take a mile,” which is the situation in which we find ourselves today. The message of ‘tolerance’ eventually morphed into ‘acceptance.’ At some point late in the Obama Administration, our culture decided that it was inadequate to merely tolerate the shenanigans of the LGBTQ community, we needed to welcome them.

The contrast in the levels of taxation between Red states and Blue states is well documented. Folks in Democrat-run states like Massachusetts and New York pay exorbitantly high taxes, apparently for the privilege of living in a state that disregards basic freedoms. Whereas those in Republican-run states such as Indiana and Florida typically pay far less in taxes. But when it comes to citing the most extreme example of high tax rates – whether we’re talking about sales tax, gas tax, income tax, or property tax – California is almost always at the top of the list. After tragedies like the horrific school shooting in Uvalde, Texas on Tuesday, we learn a lot about our political figures. In the aftermath of 9/11, we saw the epitome of leadership with then-Mayor of New York Rudy Giuliani, earning him the unofficial title of “America’s Mayor” and the recognition of leftwing Time magazine’s “Person of the Year.” When Libyan dictator Muammar Gadhafi’s henchman blew up Pan Am flight 103 in 1988, killing scores of innocent Americans, President Ronald Reagan didn’t just retaliate, he bombed Gadhafi’s house, and Gadhafi went into hiding for decades. Those are examples of true leadership following a tragedy. And then, we have clowns like Beto O’Rourke.
