One of the more irritating aspects of modern life in America is the utter inescapability from major pop culture news. Whether or not we’re interested in the latest shenanigans from Hollywood, we’re going to get pummeled with details anyway. With the recently concluded Johnny Depp/Amber Heard trial, for instance, the only way to avoid such bombardment would have been to take up a lifestyle similar to that of Ted Kaczynski. Now that the trial is over, we can mercifully move on with our lives. However, we would be remiss if we didn’t take at least a moment to recognize the complete stupidity that

The contrast in the levels of taxation between Red states and Blue states is well documented. Folks in Democrat-run states like Massachusetts and New York pay exorbitantly high taxes, apparently for the privilege of living in a state that disregards basic freedoms. Whereas those in Republican-run states such as Indiana and Florida typically pay far less in taxes. But when it comes to citing the most extreme example of high tax rates – whether we’re talking about sales tax, gas tax, income tax, or property tax – California is almost always at the top of the list.
Now, based on yesterday’s news regarding the California Task Force

After tragedies like the horrific school shooting in Uvalde, Texas on Tuesday, we learn a lot about our political figures. In the aftermath of 9/11, we saw the epitome of leadership with then-Mayor of New York Rudy Giuliani, earning him the unofficial title of “America’s Mayor” and the recognition of leftwing Time magazine’s “Person of the Year.” When Libyan dictator Muammar Gadhafi’s henchman blew up Pan Am flight 103 in 1988, killing scores of innocent Americans, President Ronald Reagan didn’t just retaliate, he bombed Gadhafi’s house, and Gadhafi went into hiding for decades. Those are examples of true leadership following a tragedy. And then, we have clowns like Beto O’Rourke.

Chicago is a mess, and the staff at The Blue State Conservative has been documenting the city’s descent into complete lawlessness for months now. Violent crime is out of control in the Windy City under Mayor Lori Lightfoot, with almost 800 murders last year, record-breaking violence in its most problematic neighborhoods, and more murders than any other city in the country despite only being the third-largest.
Chicago has been run exclusively by Democrats for over 90 years, and Illinois, the state in which Chicago lies, is run by a Democratic governor and legislature. Democrats have complete control of Chicago and Illinois as a whole.

As Johnny Depp’s highly publicized defamation trial against Amber Heard continues to play out in court, his film, “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” has seen a surge of views — propelling the film into Netflix’s Top 10.
The 2005 flick — directed by Tim Burton — found itself sitting at No. 8 of the streaming giant’s Top 10 as of Tuesday, Entertainment Weekly reported.
Based on Roald Dahl’s 1964 book of the same name, Depp stars as the eccentric chocolatier, Willy Wonka, who allows five children to tour his factory.

When it comes to innovation from a global perspective, the ideas and products from America’s Silicon Valley are second to none. And when we consider which of those Big Tech companies has been the boldest, it’s difficult to argue against Apple. From producing the very first home computer known as the Macintosh, to its iPods and iPhones, to the Apple Watch, there is no doubt Apple Inc. has been on the cutting edge of technological development for the better part of four decades. But their latest venture into electric vehicle manufacturing has just hit a major pothole.

AOC will see you at the altar.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is engaged to longtime boyfriend Riley Roberts, she confirmed on Twitter.
“It’s true! Thank you all for the well wishes,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted.
The couple were engaged in Puerto Rico last month but haven’t set a date as they take “some space to savor this time before diving into planning,” the congresswoman told Business Insider.
Rumors started circulating earlier in the day when Ocasio-Cortez was photographed by The Hill sporting an engagement ring.

Former President Donald Trump didn’t waste any time in making his feelings known regarding the announcement by billionaire Elon Musk that his blockbuster deal to buy Twitter had hit a snag.
On Friday morning, Musk tweeted, “Twitter deal temporarily on hold pending details supporting calculation that spam/fake accounts do indeed represent less than 5% of users.” The news came as a surprise to many, coming less than three weeks after the Twitter board of directors approved the $44 billion deal to have Musk buy out the company.
Within hours of Musk’s tweet, Trump weighed in from his own platform Truth Social later on Friday:

The rhetoric from various Democrats last week regarding the leaked draft of Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito’s purported majority opinion regarding the potential landmark case of Dobbs V Jackson was predictable. Democrats called those voting in the majority ‘radicals,’ and they lamented the demise of Roe V Wade. They also claimed that their position on abortion was aligned with most Americans: it’s not. In fact, it’s not even close. But this week, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), the Senate Majority Leader – for now – couldn’t help himself, as he insisted on enshrining that disconnect for the ages.

A pro-choice protester in a “Handmaid’s Tale” getup justified rallying outside Amy Coney Barrett’s home by saying the Supreme Court justice doesn’t understand what it’s like “to carry a pregnancy to term” — even though she’s given birth to five kids biologically.
The unidentified protester was one of six in red smocks and white bonnets who marched outside Barrett’s home in Falls Church, West Virginia, on Wednesday, according to video obtained by Fox News Digital.
The protester initially argued that Barrett, one of the justices expected to overturn national abortion rights given by Roe v. Wade, was biased by her devout Catholicism

The Kentucky couple who came under fire for allowing their 6-year-old son to run in the Flying Pig Marathon in Cincinnati have revealed that they were visited by Child Protective Services.
Ben and Kami Crawford, of Bellevue, shared a photo on Instagram of an official interviewing Rainier, “who adamantly decided that he wanted to run a marathon.”
In the caption, they wrote that Child Protective Services arrived at their home unannounced on Friday “and interviewed our children because leaders in the community are calling running with children wrong.”

Is there even leftwing bias in our web browsers? You bet there is. Regardless of the browser you’re currently using, chances are it’s pointing you towards the political left. The effort may be only a subtle nudge, barely noticeable to those who aren’t paying attention. Then again, it could be hitting you in the face like a sledgehammer.
But starting today, there’s a new web browser available for use. Its name is TUSK, its owner and designer has been heavily influenced by conservative figures such as Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin, and as it says on its website, TUSK is:
