Biden Adviser Sperling: Powell Didn’t
Contradict Biden, Gas Prices ‘Due Solely

On Wednesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “The Lead,” Senior Adviser to President Joe Biden Gene Sperling said that Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell’s comments that high inflation pre-dates Russia’s invasion of Ukraine don’t contradict President Joe Biden’s rhetoric and “the reason we’ve seen the gas price rise, both here and really around the world, is due to Putin.” Sperling responded to Powell’s comments by saying, “Jake, that is clearly correct, and that is not contradictory with anything this president said.”

Powell clearly said NO on Russia as the cause of inflation. He also said he would focus on what the Federal Reserve could do about it, and refused to take up what Biden and Congress could do with fiscal policy. That was rounded shoulders of him. The Federal Reserve is independent, and Powell has a responsibility to the public, not this type of cya.

They are using the old Soviet playbook. So-and-so did not say such-and-such, because we are stating the official position and besides he's been sent off to the re-education camp and can't be reached for further comment. This Administration and the bureaucracy that supports it must be totally ANNIHILATED!! If we have to kick everyone out of Washington DC, right down to the newspaper vendors, it needs to be gone as of last week if not sooner. Start over. Reject any measure that allows anyone to become entrenched in power. We want freedom? We need to step up and take responsibility. Have a lottery, like for jury duty, taken from any political party to randomly create a pool of candidates for public office. The conventions are used to hash out what positions they run for. I would rather have a garbage collector running for president than these Elite snobs from 'Hah-Vahd' or other ivy leagues. They would do a much better job on the whole. And trim the media's wings. Have a mechanism seated in the population that will punish them for propaganda.

What about the role of the United States government in helping to foment the civil war in Ukraine, ethnic Ukrainians vs. ethnic Russians in the fragile young democracy? The Obama / Biden State Department headed up and managed the coup in 2014. There are many war mongering protagonists, including Biden (who is the face for Obama STILL), Romney, Graham, Merrick Garland, Victoria Nuland and Jake Sullivan, still active in the government. The war and the side effects can be laid at their feet. No sane American wants the war in Ukraine. No sane American wants the suffering of innocent Ukrainian citizens whether of Ukrainian or Russian ethnicity. I hate that the coup in 2014 was done by the U.S. government! What arrogance!!! And for what purpose other than to create mayhem and suffering.

The constant lying is an insult to everyone listening. It may sound like a trivial matter compared to some issues that Biden has caused, but this is terribly important. Truth must be an integral part of a Constitutional Republic. Without truth there is no trust in government. This administration lies deliberately because they know if they tell the truth they are finished. Their fragile house of cards would collapse. I cannot believe the moral nosedive this country has taken. At one time, men and women of good character believed in integrity and were revolted by liars. Now, the POTUS and his entire wretched administration cannot tell the truth. The lies they tell to us to our faces would shame the devil, yet they never stop. Why should they? Does anyone challenge them in a meaningful way? The media are as bad. The truth is not in them and they don’t care as long as they get their way. A liar is evil in all his ways. He is a destabilizing force. Look at the leadership in this country. They are nothing more than a cabal of thieves and liars.

Even libs have to buy gas and baby formula, and the anxiety and annoyance is daily, Now they want to tell everyone to buy a $50-60,000 electric car which most cannot afford. People are living paycheck to paycheck and the middle class is being taken down day by day-- all according to plan. Removing the federal gas tax and encouraging states to do the same means they are feeling the heat of election time!

Then please explain to me why gas prices started to rise within 48 hours of TaliBiden being “elected”? He campaigned on shutting down the US petroleum industry so I started to watch prices on 11/4/20. Prices in my area had almost doubled long before Putin invaded Ukraine. Once gas prices started to rise, the price of everything else started to rise. Couple that with the trillions in government spending and here we are.

Here is the reality. Fact 1. Oil is a fungible commodity, which if you peel all the economist prattle about world wide demand economic price setting really boils down to "if you don't buy it someone else will". Fact 2. Putin has to sell his oil to finance his war in Ukraine. Fact 3. US and others refuse to buy Russian oil. Fact 4. See fact 1. If europe and the US won't buy Putins oil China and India and much of the rest of the world will. And every barrel China buys from Russia is pretty much offset by a barrel china does not buy from Saudi Arabia. The US is then free to buy that Saudi Barrel of oil. So net effect of the US oil sanction on the world oil supply is pretty much zero So if Russia is still flooding the world market with his oil why are oil prices still rising, Remember oil price is set by the world market, it is very difficult for any single country to effect that. So if oil prices are rising the only reason is oil supply is shrinking or demand is rising. Demand rise alone does not explain the price hike so there must be a component of oil production reduction. Who has decreased production? Certainly not Russia, Putin needs every dime he can get so hes pumping as fast as he can. No, the only major oil producing country that has seriously cut production is the US, on the direct executive orders of Biden and with the full support of the Democrat party.

#12, I remember inflation similar to what we have today. It was the early 1970's. The Arabs stopped fighting among themselves long enough to form the OPEC oil cartel, and jack up the price of oil.... I don't recall the price of a barrel of oil, but a gallon of Gasoline went from 29.9 CENTS to 45 CENTS, then about $1.15. The price of everything produced or transported using petroleum followed along, until things came back into balance. The final effect, from what I can see, is a serious decline in the value of the Dollar. For comparison, I remember that in 1969, a full-size Ford or Chevy car, or a full-size half-ton pickup, cost around $3,000. Now that full-size car or pickup is anywhere from $35,000 to $75,000. The Arabs did it to us in the 1970's. The Biden administration is doing it to us today. Lenin said it: "The surest way to attack a Capitalist State is to Debauch the Currency." By the way..... President Trump had people closely watching the price of oil during his term, and during a spectacular 'dip' in the price, they bought contracts to FILL the Strategic Reserve at a significant cost savings. Biden's handlers are SELLING OFF the Strategic Reserve.... and my understanding is that the oil is being shipped OVERSEAS. When we REALLY need it, the Reserve will be Empty. On Purpose. Worst. President. Ever.

Protesters are planning demonstrations outside the home of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas on Friday night, after he revealed he now has laws protecting gay marriage, gay sexual activity and contraception in his sights, after axing Roe v. The U.S. Supreme Court’s decision allowing states to ban abortion stirred alarm Friday among LGBTQ advocates, who feared that the ruling could someday allow a rollback of legal protections for gay relationships, including the right for same-sex couples to marry. In the court’s majority opinion overturning the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision, Justice Samuel Alito said the decision applied only to abortion. But critics of the court’s conservative majority gave the statement no credence. “I don’t buy that at all,” said Lawrence Gostin, a professor of medicine at Georgetown University and faculty director of its Institute for National and Global Health Law.

Where abortion is concerned, Alabama just became a different state — not only compared to its former self, but to other areas of America. Following the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn 1973’s Roe v. Wade decision guaranteeing a federal right to abortion, Alabama has outlawed the practice — with one exception. The process began in 2019, when Gov. Kay Ivey signed the Alabama Human Life Protection Act. As noted by WBRC, “The law made performing an abortion at any stage of pregnancy a felony unless the mother’s health was in danger. It did not provide any exceptions for rape or incest.” However, a preliminary injunction was imposed against the ban.
