The number of teenagers identifying as transgender has exploded. Advocates say it protects young people from marginalization. Some experts, however, many of whom consider themselves survivors, warn against treating adolescent confusion with drugs and surgeries that have irreversible physical and psychological effects. In the second part of this series, the Washington Examiner speaks to the mothers affected. Abby Martinez tried to fight back when a Los Angeles school, county social workers, and an LGBT group sought to transition her confused 15-year-old daughter.

Why are libs always pushing others to accomplish THEIR agenda. If you love the trans idea then be trans. Do not tell others to be trans because it helps YOUR agenda.

The left controls the school environment. They control the school board environ and woe to any parent who expresses their anger at a board meeting. We have just woken up to the reality that the left even controls the election process. So of course they control our children's mental and emotional development under the pretense that they are just 'educating' our children. Maybe it is time WE took the war to board members and teachers more directly in an environ and manner they do not control......

In this installment of their weekly Sunday Six conversation, PF Whalen and Parker Beauregard of The Blue State Conservative discuss the six Congresspersons who best represent the term ‘Republican In Name Only,’ aka the dreaded RINO. #6: Representative Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) Parker: This crying traitor doesn’t even deserve that “R” behind his name here. I am not even sure he deserves to be called an American for that matter. The fact he takes an oath to uphold the Constitution is beyond me. Does anything really need to be said about him? While he has never done much for the conservative, limited-government movement,

Liberals in Congress are pressing President Joe Biden to invoke emergency powers to push ahead with Democrats' climate change agenda and to put new restrictions on fossil fuels, even while gasoline remains at its highest per-gallon price on record. With legislation stalled in Congress, the nearly 100-member Congressional Progressive Caucus released a slate of policy recommendations Thursday for Biden to pursue, calling on him to use executive action to deal with a list of topics his "Build Back Better" agenda sought to address, including the development of more green energy technologies and placement of restrictions on new fossil fuel production.

Former President Donald Trump is effectively ruling out tapping former Vice President Mike Pence as his running mate should he mount a third White House bid in 2024 and win the Republican nomination. “I don’t think the people would accept it,” Trump told the Washington Examiner Tuesday evening during a wide-ranging telephone interview from Mar-a-Lago, his private social club and political headquarters in Palm Beach, Florida. The former president cited friction stemming from the aftermath of the 2020 election, suggesting their differences are too stark to overcome. Trump claimed the contest was stolen and wanted Pence to overturn the results during the congressional certification of President Joe Biden’s Electoral College victory.

Bill Maher is not a conservative. In fact, on many issues such as the role of government and religion, Bill Maher is on the far left. But one thing Maher is not is a leftwing panderer. He is a liberal, but in the classic sense, and he doesn’t pull punches when it comes to criticizing a public figures: left, center, or right. He welcomes debate and the exchange of ideas, he’s adamantly opposed to cancel culture, and he also has a keen sense of rationality about him. Such was the case yesterday when he appeared on Ben Shapiro’s Sunday Special.

Goldman Sachs slashed its U.S. growth forecast and is warning that a recession could occur after Russia invaded Ukraine. The financial services giant cut its forecast gross domestic product growth for the United States to 1.75% this year after previously forecasting a 2% increase in GDP. The downgrade comes as Russian forces continue their invasion of Ukraine, a war that has resulted in soaring energy prices and crippling sanctions for Moscow. “We now see the risk that the U.S. enters a recession during the next year as broadly in line with the 20-35% odds currently implied by models based on the slope of the yield curve,”

President Joe Biden's response to the Russia-Ukraine war has boosted his popularity, yet pollsters warn that the reprieve may be brief before November's midterm elections. The bloody conflict between Russia and Ukraine, half a world away, has created "a short-term bottom" for public opinion of Biden, according to Suffolk University pollster David Paleologos. "Prior to the State of the Union address, approval ratings in the high 30s were a regular occurrence," the Suffolk University Political Research Center director told the Washington Examiner. "Since the State of the Union, Biden's approval has settled into the low to mid-40s, suggesting a short-term bump."

In August, when Joe Biden oversaw one of the worst military disasters in American history – otherwise known as the Afghanistan withdrawal – it was clear that the US, and indeed the world, would be feeling the negative repercussions for years. The full force of those consequences is already been felt in Ukraine, and we’re beginning to see other side effects with Taiwan. And just when we thought things couldn’t get any worse, here comes Kim Jung Un to get in on the act in North Korea. The collateral damage from the Afghanistan debacle was widespread. After eighteen consecutive months with zero combat casualties, Biden’s abandonment last summer

Ukraine is a manageable localized problem in a distant part of the world and Russia is going to manage it. The American crisis of confidence in its own operating system is something else. Did “Joe Biden’s” handlers actually want to start World War Three? They are the same posse who contrived the Russian Collusion hysteria of 2016-19, then launched Covid-19 — and the even more deadly mass “vaccination” response to it — and have now successfully goaded Russia into cleaning up the international hub of grift and mischief known as Ukraine. One thing established for sure as fact: the “Joe Biden” family received plenty of cash off that grift wagon,

Quoting late Supreme Court judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Blackburn said: 'Physical differences between men and women are enduring. The two sexes are not fungible. A community made up exclusively of one sex is different from a community composed of both.'
