Risk of US recession 35% as Russia wages
war in Ukraine: Goldman Sachs

Goldman Sachs slashed its U.S. growth forecast and is warning that a recession could occur after Russia invaded Ukraine. The financial services giant cut its forecast gross domestic product growth for the United States to 1.75% this year after previously forecasting a 2% increase in GDP. The downgrade comes as Russian forces continue their invasion of Ukraine, a war that has resulted in soaring energy prices and crippling sanctions for Moscow. “We now see the risk that the U.S. enters a recession during the next year as broadly in line with the 20-35% odds currently implied by models based on the slope of the yield curve,”

Putting "recession" and "war in Ukraine" in the same headline is maliciously misleading. The risk of recession is not related to Russia's Ukrainian misadventure, but due to Biden's obstinately insane domestic policies (especially "green" energy, covid, and border security).

American CEO's have made pariah's of themselves by trying to force Biden values on the world and American conservatives. Global corporations are going to see more resistance to their products, as brands become more regionalized. The global corporations that reside in America have bitten off their noses to spite their faces, and the companies they head are going to harvest lower valuations. World markets are massive in comparison to the American market. What fools we have for leaders.

Try doing your own research and NOT believing Brokerage firms// asset managers. If they want prices to go down, guarantee they are shorting the products. ( That is, profiting from the drops ). A 1/4 of one percent guess is ridiculous.

Biden's popularity is improving, but pollsters

President Joe Biden's response to the Russia-Ukraine war has boosted his popularity, yet pollsters warn that the reprieve may be brief before November's midterm elections. The bloody conflict between Russia and Ukraine, half a world away, has created "a short-term bottom" for public opinion of Biden, according to Suffolk University pollster David Paleologos. "Prior to the State of the Union address, approval ratings in the high 30s were a regular occurrence," the Suffolk University Political Research Center director told the Washington Examiner. "Since the State of the Union, Biden's approval has settled into the low to mid-40s, suggesting a short-term bump."

In August, when Joe Biden oversaw one of the worst military disasters in American history – otherwise known as the Afghanistan withdrawal – it was clear that the US, and indeed the world, would be feeling the negative repercussions for years. The full force of those consequences is already been felt in Ukraine, and we’re beginning to see other side effects with Taiwan. And just when we thought things couldn’t get any worse, here comes Kim Jung Un to get in on the act in North Korea. The collateral damage from the Afghanistan debacle was widespread. After eighteen consecutive months with zero combat casualties, Biden’s abandonment last summer

The charge comes with a possible sentence of up to ten years in prison. There isn’t a whole of new information at this point, with her agent, Lindsay Kagawa Colas saying that: “We are aware of the situation with Brittney Griner in Russia

German officials have ensured that Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov won't be able to relax on his lavish yacht while Russian firepower pummels Ukraine, according to a new report. Authorities this week seized his treasured $600 million, 512-foot yacht Dilbar, which was being refitted in a German shipyard, sources told Forbes. The seizure came in response to European Union sanctions against Usmanov and other oligarchs Monday over Russia's deadly invasion of Ukraine. "On 28 February 2022 I became the target of restrictive measures imposed by the European Union I believe that such decision is unfair,

Ukraine is a manageable localized problem in a distant part of the world and Russia is going to manage it. The American crisis of confidence in its own operating system is something else. Did “Joe Biden’s” handlers actually want to start World War Three? They are the same posse who contrived the Russian Collusion hysteria of 2016-19, then launched Covid-19 — and the even more deadly mass “vaccination” response to it — and have now successfully goaded Russia into cleaning up the international hub of grift and mischief known as Ukraine. One thing established for sure as fact: the “Joe Biden” family received plenty of cash off that grift wagon,

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s open threat to use nuclear weapons against NATO allies supporting Ukraine appears to European officials to be a watershed in high-stakes brinkmanship which could foreshadow a new level of carnage in Ukraine. The threat is, first, sign of “desperation and frustration by Putin,” a European official whose country emerged from behind the Iron Curtain after the fall of the Soviet Union told the Washington Examiner. "And secondly, as psychological pressure to the West before his major escalation in Ukraine (most likely in the coming days).”

The weird thing about Utah is that while its patriotic, conservative citizens will elect winners like the ever-amusing Orrin Hatch, they are also suckers for prissy invertebrates like Mitt Romney. But Biden's approval problems could hamstring his own political aspirations, with polls indicating that Democrats would prefer another nominee on the ballot in 2024. Two polls finding that Democrats support usurping Biden as their party's leader reflect "unhappiness" with the president's job so far, according to Democratic strategist Stefan Hankin.

As talks over a return to the 2015 Iran nuclear deal continue, Congress is upping scrutiny of President Joe Biden’s efforts to forge an agreement with Tehran that some argue needs provisions that extend for longer and stronger terms to contain the regime’s malign regional activity. Twice last week, Biden’s envoy on Iran appeared in private hearings before Congress, a ratcheting up of pressure that points to fissures inside the Democratic Party over the policy.

CNN continues to undergo massive changes coinciding with AT&T’s corporate handoff to new owner Discovery and the ouster of former company president Jeff Zucker. Zucker left, Chris Cuomo left, and sundry employees did the same as disgusting allegations of pedophilia came to light. Ratings have been in a freefall ever since Brandon was inaugurated and over-the-top, fake news about Donald Trump couldn’t be manufactured for its unthinking viewership anymore. Covid panic porn has likewise lost its luster. So, in a battle for survival, the “news” network’s owners are realizing that simply making up hysteria after hysteria might not be a viable long-term plan.

Smollett was found guilty back in December, after he conspired with two men to make it seem as if Trump supporters had attacked him and tied a noose around his neck at 2:00 AM, in the middle of a polar vortex. While he received an initial outpouring of support, including from Vice President Kamala Harris, it quickly became apparent that his story wasn’t adding up. Why was he out after midnight getting a sandwich in sub-zero temperatures? Why didn’t he call the police right away? Why did he leave the noose on until police got there?

The flu shot used during the 2021 to 2022 virus season was a poor match and did little to prevent circulation, a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) report finds. Researchers found that the vaccine only reduced the number of mild influenza by 16 percent, which they do not consider statistically significant. The flu strain that struck America this year was of the H3N2 strain, one of the more dangerous versions of the virus, and the shot was not tailored to the specific version of the virus that ended up emerging. Experts had warned of a brutal flu season this year for months leading up to it,

There is an additional feature of that poll that deserves notice, as highlighted in the Journal’s article about it: The survey also found Republicans making gains among minority groups. By 9 percentage points, Hispanic voters in the new poll said they would back a Republican candidate for Congress over a Democrat. The two parties had been tied among Hispanic voters in the Journal’s survey in November. Democratic margins also eroded among Black voters, who favored a Democrat for Congress by 35 percentage points in the new survey, down from 56 points in November.
