More than 100 Seattle Public Schools students walked out of class Monday morning to protest the district’s decision to end the requirement that students and staff wear masks.
Many of those students rallied at district headquarters, the John Stanford Center, to ask Superintendent Brent Jones to reinstate the mask mandate districtwide. Mask requirements for Seattle and most other districts in the state ended a week ago.

This was clearly organized. Politically active liberal high school students. Does not represent all of the students in Seattle.

So let the ones who want to wear one do so. Those who don't can now not wear them. There, solved your problem.

They belong to the Seattle Students Union, a newly formed activist group. Surprised? Entirely misinformed/misguided on the value of masks, they press on regardless. This sounds teacher-motivated to me. Amazing what a few forceful, charismatic teachers can do to high school-aged minds.
FTA:
“It is not fair that I have a teacher who is immunocompromised and has to take care of her elderly grandmother and now she has to be scared every single day coming into the building to teach us and nurture us and do what she loves,” the sophomore at the Center School said. “That is injustice.”

Yeah, 100 students out of apprx. 100,000 attending Seattle schools. FYI, masks aren't outlawed, you have a choice to wear one or not. So put one on, stop complaining and get on with your lives.

Get a load of the raised fist logo. And the whiff of Antifa. If this isn’a lefty-organized “union”, I’ll be surprised. Normal Americans don’t engage in this kind of stuff and push their kids to do it.

What’s the big deal? Let the about 100 or so indoctrinated protesting students wear masks if they wish, and let the remainder of about 99,900 non protesting students in Seattle go to school without masks if they wish. What could be fairer than that?

Well, aren’t they nicely brainwashed little sheep! And they are in the minority, but they’re mouthy and loud. Don’t they realize that many, many schools around the country have been mask free ALL YEAR?

100 whole students (out of?)...walked out of class... /wink wink. It couldn't just be they saw an opportunity to play hooky?
And the worthless lazy teachers who didn't do their jobs and yet still got paid for 2 years support them. Again, so (NOT) shocking.

When I was in high school we walked out of school to protest the Vietnam War on the anniversary of the Ohio shooting of four protestors. We were taught to question everything. These kids have no idea what/why they are demanding to have their rights taken away.

Leftist brainwashing in action. Junior is being brought up to trust in the government, and to be a drone of the government. The government is your friend!

Leftist totalitarians love it when they can force people to comply with obviously stupid and irrelevant orders. They LOVE their power.

If there's ever another civil war, these 100 or so weenies won't last through the 1st day. There'll be no one to 'nurture' them, as the indoctrinators will be in deep cover!

Masks are not enough. Tell them to duck tape their whole face-just to be sure they never get a germ.

Wow, I'm impressed. The Seattle School system had just 100 students without their homework ready. Pretty impressive I think.

A minority of students walk out because they want everyone to keep wearing masks. Ignore them. If they want to wear masks, let them.

Simply demand that the offended “students” recuse themselves from attending classes in the future.

If YOU have been 'vaccinated' AND/OR wear a mask then YOU are protected - right ??
If you are 'protected', then why in blazes do you care if ANYONE ELSE wears a mask OR
is vaccinated ??? YOU ARE SAFE ( or so you've been told !! )
These kids - along with a LOT of adults - are buying into something
that LOGICALLY MAKES NO SENSE !

While they’re at it, the school district should give them each a pacifier along with a mask.

They have been taught to use force, not persuation to get what they want. And they demand 100% no risk, which is not possible. (And the teachers' union is as bad.)
