Jen Psaki, the White House press secretary, has tested positive for Covid-19 and will not travel to Europe with Joe Biden for meetings in Brussels and Poland this week. In a statement on Tuesday afternoon, Psaki said she had met twice with Biden, 79, on Monday but he had tested negative the following day.(Snip)“Thanks to the vaccine, I have only experienced mild symptoms. In alignment with White House Covid-19 protocols, I will work from home and plan to return to work in person at the conclusion of a five-day isolation period and a negative test.” Biden is vaccinated and boosted. Comments:

The shots work so well that she keeps catching Covid despite being vaxxed and boosted. Or is this just an excuse to avoid a long flight to Poland with President Poopy Pants?

But she had her shots, she was boosted, distanced herself, wore a mask, maybe wore more than two masks as far as I know, washed her hands, did everything right and she still got covid? Welcome to the real world. I do not want you to be sick (I just want you to go away) but please leave the rest of us alone when you preach covid protocol to the great unwashed masses.

Thus we can conclude that "the Science" is complete bullshiite, and that: 1) The "vaccine" doesn't prevent infection or transmission; 2) The masks, social distancing, and lockdowns are completely ineffective; 3) The imposition of such measures have nothing to do with controlling the virus but everything to do with controlling our citizens.

Sorry for the second posting. As a side note - It boggles my mind (1) why we should be testing for COVID in healthy individuals without any symptoms? Do we test our temperature or undergo colonoscopy/mammogram daily? (2) are they still following the CDC guidelines of cycle threshold 40 for PCR?

Positive for Covid a second time, negative for honesty for all time. Probably just an excuse to keep from going to Poland. The vaccine only works, not to stop Covid, but for its intended purpose.

So the vaccine doesn't work. Getting covid doesn't produce immunity. You can get it over and over. Eventually on one of those times it will kill you. Sounds like they've engineered a virus which is going to wipe out the entire human race. I figure in 5 years 3 billion people left. In 10 years Earth's population measured in mere millions.

Two points. (1) Am I the only person who notices an extraordinary burst of "me too" announcements of celebrities who have COVID? Obama, Psaki, a whole bunch. I, on the other hand, haven't heard of a friend coming down with it in months. Is this a push to make everyone believe the plague is "still with us" in full force.? (2) I love my brethren on this board, but sometimes anti-vaccine preaching is tedious. Yes, these are weird "vaccines," and YES, the number of dangerous reactions, while NOT statistically overwhelming, is notable, and yes, much like the flu vaccines of yesteryear, these COVID shots are not 100% effective. Children NEED NOT TAKE THE VACCINE -- that's tantamount to child abuse. Young people surely are reasonable to take their chances and OMIT the vaccine. Anyway, IT SHOULD NOT BE MANDATED FOR ANYONE. BUT -- It is tedious and silly to deny basic evidence that the vaccine can forestall, or, more importantly, MUTE, the virus, especially among vulnerable populations Several elderly (70+) members of my family contracted the virus but were completely unaware they had it -- no symptoms. For them, the risk of an adverse reaction to the vaccine (or speculative longterm effects) was likely worth it -- COVID could have killed them. It's an individual's choice

On the internet all caps represent shouting. We don’t do that around here. You’ll be seen without it.

I've had three shots, taken HCQ and Ivermectin, been careful -- masked and isolated (working from home since March 2020), with underlying issues (obesity, heart issues). My son (20) had COVID twice (mild) and my wife caught it about a month ago, and was laid up for a couple days. My doctor (a family member) and wife both said I'd get it. Went to his office, and tested negative. A couple days later, tested at home (negative). Two days later, I tested at home and this time, won the COVID jackpot. I took some more horse wormer (ivermectin, which by the way has really jumped in price), got in for the monoclonal antibodies, and came home. Was tired one afternoon and quit early. But hey, I've had colds and flus much worse. Will I say the vaccines weren't effective? No way. Vaccines, among other forms of medication and prevention are great when used by those who benefit most.

The "vaccines" that are still being pushed were gene therapy until the definition of "vaccine" was changed to include them. There are a couple of real vaccines , by the old definition we are used to, but the FDA and CDC refuse to acknowledge them.

About a third of people around the world are not now covered by early warning systems, but in Africa the problem is greater, with about six in 10 people lacking such warnings. As climate breakdown takes hold, more people are likely to be affected by extreme weather, including flash floods, heatwaves, more violent storms and coastal storm surges, made worse by sea level rises. António Guterres said it was unacceptable that so many people were still not covered by early warning systems,

Many may have to play along with declaring Lia Thomas as one of the greatest female athletes of all time, but everyone else lives on planet Earth where dogs bark, the sky is blue, and men can’t suddenly be women because they said they were. Thomas is definitely a man and there’s no escaping that fact. It’s why when he was declared the winner of the NCAA women’s swimming championship, many people immediately rejected his first-place victory and focused on the girls who finished below him. In one stunning moment, the girls did the same.

A groveling Disney CEO Bob Chapek on Monday told employees the company should have condemned Florida’s Parental Rights in Education bill that blocked the teaching of sexuality and transgender ideology to students in kindergarten through third grade, speaking 24-hours hours before mutinous staff planned to walk out during a day-long strike. Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson refused to define the word 'woman' during the fiery second day of her confirmation hearing conducted by the Senate's Judiciary Committee. The moment came during a tense exchange with Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) who pressed Jackson on sex and gender issues amid the fallout of biological male swimmer Lia Thomas storming to victory in the NCAA championships against female competitors. Quoting late Supreme Court judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Blackburn said: 'Physical differences between men and women are enduring. The two sexes are not fungible. A community made up exclusively of one sex is different from a community composed of both.'
