Madeleine Albright, the first woman to be Secretary of State, died on Wednesday from cancer at age 84. The mother of three served under President Bill Clinton from 1997 to 2001 and was a longtime diplomat.
Albright was born in 1937 in Prague, Czechoslovakia and immigrated to the United States with her family in 1948 as a refugee in the aftermath of World War II.
Her family fled to Britain in 1939 to avoid the Nazis and then the United States nearly a decade later to escape the communists' grip on Czechoslovakia.

The only thing that anyone needs to remember about her is her chase down the hall in pursuit of Yasser Arafat after he walked out of a meeting with her.

When "madeline albright greatest accomplishment" googled, you get this answer:
"Albright orchestrated a campaign on her own behalf that proved successful. When Albright took office as the 64th U.S. Secretary of State on January 23, 1997, she became the first female U.S. Secretary of State and the highest-ranking woman in the history of the U.S. government at the time of her appointment."

Reminds me of how Hillary Clinton supporters would list her getting elected as Senator and appointed as Secretary of State as "achievements".
No. Those were opportunities to achieve something. And when you'd ask for anything she achieved WHILE in those positions, you'd get the crickets.
From the original article, I gather it was much the same for Albright. RIP, but let us not overdo it.

People die every day. It doesn’t matter whether they’re over-educated and self-important jet setters or RV loving humble spirited welders. For those with an emotional attachment who are left behind, it is sad. Madeleine Albright aimed for an elite position in Washington politics and international affairs and was probably far less important to international peace than comfortable shoe manufacturers or heating and air conditioning installers. There are truly extraordinary people but I never saw any evidence that Albright was any more so than the ordinary sort that we meet in our daily lives. Why her passing deserves more attention than a beloved coach/father/mother or mentor is beyond me.

The only image of Maddie which stays with me - - is the one of her furiously waddling after Yasser Arafat - - while yelling, "Close the gates! Close the gates!"
Otherwise - - i can't think of a worthwhile thing she accomplished - - nor of a worthwhile thing to say about her.

My late husband and I were professional photographers. We had the "pleasure " of taking grip and grin photos of Albright with Jr. League members. In between shots I tried to engage her in small talk; complimented her brooch, etc. She wasn't having it. Never met a more elitist, rude snob in my life.

Hallelujah, another DemonCommieRat bites the Big Enchilada.
Madeleine Halfbright, Secretary of State under notorious pedophile B. J. Clinton, has just returned home to the fiery embrace of her Dark Lord, Lucifer. How fitting since he is the Father of Lies and she was so incredibly adept at lying. I thought I felt a thump this afternoon. Must have been Maddy's fat, evil ass touching down in Hell. Adios, pootah. (Damnable censors)

She was well deserving of Rush and Mark Levin calling her Madeline “Half-Bright”. Not very smart but a token woman appointed by the hound dog Slick Willy.

May St Peter escort her to that 'special place in hell'
Once there she will find that it is not for women who refused to vote for Hillary, but for people who kill 500,000 children with sanctions and declare it worthy.

Madeleine Halfbright went to her reward as the only person who still believes Bill Clinton "did not have sex with that woman." Now she's cooking her brisket (...hat tip, Michael Savage) over a very hot fire.

Oh well...at least there weren't a Waco or Ruby Ridge where she was concerned.
Still the same old evil retard Democrap. But Reno has her beat on the banality of evil.

She achieved nothing to the world's benefit. Flitting and floating amongst leaders who considered her a necessary nuisance to garner US dollars or US armaments. She sure won't pass through the Pearly Gates, but Satan doesn't want her either. Well, Purgatory isn't just a ski resort in Colorado.

I sincerely wish her a safe trip to where she's going and please take Soros, Hillary, Schumer, Schiff, Pelosi, Romney, Klaus Schwab, Maxine, Putin, Zelensky, Liz Cheney, Jane Fonda, Bill Gates, Zuckerberg, Bernie, Barbra, Cher, and all the Jabbas from The View with you as your praetorian guard cohort. Pope Frank can hitch a ride, too, if he wants.
