President Joe Biden will nominate federal Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson on Friday to replace Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer, which would make her the first black woman on the high court's bench should she be confirmed by the Senate. Breyer announced his retirement last month after 28 years on the Supreme Court, effective when the current term ends this summer. That paved the way for Biden to fulfill his 2020 campaign promise of nominating a black woman as a Supreme Court justice.

Another affirmative action pick who was shepherded through Harvard Law without having to do anything, just like Obama. She’s been overturned a number of times already. Here we go again. Time for the Republicans to grow some ‘nads and refuse to vote for her.

Ukraine is going to be disappeared like afghanistan. The Gullibles will be directed towards the first black female justice without a penis who can- biologically speaking- bear children absent a protective abortion. Like afghanistan and Ukraine we too are being buried. The Gullibles are happy. They’ll be even happier when they can hate Trump even more!!!!

What liberals fail to understand but many black people do is that the great flaw with affirmative action is that even when a highly qualified black person gets a job they are still under a cloud of suspicion that it was not because they were highly qualified but because they were black. Biden set that in place when he announced he would appoint only a black woman to the Supreme Court. If he had just shut up, whoever he appointed might have been more fairly judged on their qualifications. Of course if a black CONSERVATIVE gets a high position it's because they aren't REALLY black or they are an Uncle Tom.

Are ya sure she hates America enough? After all biden wants to be sure that American citizens are given the least amount of concern. Especially if they are white. Even though HE is white the rest of us must be punished for being white. Because anyone other than black must be of primary importance. No need to worry because soon white will be a minority. Will we be allowed to survive? We must first ask permission. CEO's want to have more minorities but they are never willing to be the first to leave. Elites always win.

Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, as amended, protects employees and job applicants from employment discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex and national origin. If the Repubs in Senate had spines, they would ask a federal court to block any nominee who is selected on the basis of race and gender. Such blatant discrimination in hiring is against several specific federal laws, and any nominee so chosen should be challenged on the violation of these laws. Won’t stop this candidate but it will at least force Biden’s DoJ to justify Biden’s hypocrisy in not equally applying US laws.

Isn't ironic that the man who treated the second Black person to serve on the SCOTUS like a piece of dirt on his shoes gets to pick another Black person for the court. Why so many black mothers insist on naming their kids with such ridiculous names is beyond me. These kids are then saddled with these non-African names which to a certain extent could impede their progress later on in life. A Manhattan judge on Monday said he will toss out Sarah Palin’s libel lawsuit against the New York Times over an editorial that falsely linked her to a mass shooting — but he didn’t exactly side with the Gray Lady. The former Alaska governor sued The Times – and the newspaper’s former editorial page editor, James Bennet – in 2017 after the paper published an editorial under the headline “America’s Lethal Politics.” But Manhattan federal court Judge Jed Rakoff said Monday he would dismiss the complaint when the jury returns a verdict because Palin had not met the high standard of “actual malice” in the complaint.

The Trafalgar Group is very accurate in its polling. It found 55.7% of voters prefer a Republican candidate in the upcoming congressional races. 42.2% prefer a Democrat. Let me put that in perspective. Remember the 2010 congressional races when the Tea Party flipped 63 seats for Republicans, which gave them their largest majority in decades? Republicans received 51.7% of the votes overall. Democrats got 44.9%. That was a 6.8-point gap. This is a 13.5-point gap.

Minnesota has removed race as a preferential factor for determining which COVID-19 patients should receive scarce monoclonal antibodies, which are outpatient infusions that reduce the risk of severe illness and hospitalization. Updated rationing guidance on Wednesday prioritizes infusions when they are in short supply for people who are immunocompromised or pregnant. It also gives preference to people who are older or have underlying conditions that increase their risk for severe COVID-19, but it switched to a scoring system that no longer considers race.
