President Biden on Friday afternoon scrapped plans to stay at the White House and prepared to depart for his home in Delaware for the weekend. He changed his plans as chaos reigned in Ukraine with Russian troops battling to take control of the country’s capital, Kyiv. The White House released a daily schedule confirming that Mr. Biden will travel to Wilmington in the evening. He had no public events scheduled for Saturday or Sunday.(Snip)The president will also have a meeting with his national security team in Wilmington on Saturday, she said. “Every president can work from everywhere they are because that is how presidencies are equipped,” Ms. Psaki said.

Comments:

The same trash that criticized President Trump now says presidents can work from anywhere, even from the imaginary sandbox occupied by people whose minds are blown from dementia and sin.

Most presidents would go for months between visits to home. Old Joe will find out sometime on Monday if Kiev is still standing.

During past conflicts the Presidents have remained in the White House or at Camp David. Since Jobama is not really the President, he can go wherever he likes. Question is, who has been running the country into the ground since Jan 20, 2021? Obama, Ron Klain, an unknown deep state cabal? It’s high time we found out!

Chances are Biden has compromised himself by way of the obviously corrupt activities that his family carried out in China and Ukraine that is well known to the Chinese and Russian intelligence services. If they have that compromised information on Biden, the Chinese and Russians could blow Biden out of the saddle by publicly releasing that information at any time if Biden does not walk on the straight and narrow. So maybe Biden is personally better off in his mansion in Delaware than out there answering media questions in ways that make him look pretty weird, rather than brilliant as Biden was pronounced to be today by Nancy Pelosi.

For three decades, I was assigned by the State to hold factfinding hearings, mostly in school district/teacher disputes. The appointment came when the parties were at impasse. So I would schedule hearings, having subpoena power to compel attendance, on Friday afternoons, during H.S. football season. I would convene the hearing, have the parties initial everything they agreed upon so far, and then tell the school board members - go enjoy the game tonight, and good luck to your boys! I'll stay behind with the administrators and teachers, and we'll work on some boiler plate stuff.' And then, in the absence of the school board, we then would hammer out an agreement. That approach worked for three decades, and I thought about it as I read about Biden and Delaware.

Forgive second post but I must agree with #2. The new pronunciation and spelling of Kiev by journalists reminds me of their obsession with the pronunciation of Nicaragua back in the 80s. Why don’t they do the same with Roma, Italia, Espana, Paris, France, Bruxelles, Belgique etc? It appears that they only do this for their pet countries.

A market in Wuhan, China, that sold live animals likely was the point of origin for the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a pair of studies released Saturday. “When you look at all of the evidence together, it’s an extraordinarily clear picture that the pandemic started at the Huanan market,” said Michael Worobey, an evolutionary biologist at the University of Arizona who co-authored both studies, told the New York Times. The studies have yet to be published in a scientific journal. Researchers analyzed data from a variety of sources to seek clues to how the pandemic began.
