Even as the omicron variant loosens its grip on the world, destinations continue to require travelers to show proof of vaccination. And, increasingly, a paper CDC vaccination card is not cutting it. While the United States government has not issued a federal digital vaccine pass, a national standard has nevertheless emerged. To date, 21 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico offer accessibility to the SMART Health Card, a verifiable digital proof of vaccination developed through the Vaccination Credential Initiative (VCI), a global coalition of public and private stakeholders including Microsoft, Salesforce, Oracle, the Mayo Clinic and other health and tech heavyweights. If you think this is a good idea there's no hope for you. In the recorded centuries of man's history we've been subject to multitudes of plagues, epidemics, outbreaks, pandemics, and the like. How does this "pandemic" rate on the scale of the worst of the worst? Quite frankly, I doubt we'll ever really know the actual truth; we've been lied to so much. But my immediate guess is that in a century, when they look back on this, it will be seen as a ridiculous farce that was only used as a method of control. Honestly, we should be in the streets demanding the immediate resignation of anyone and everyone that is currently involved with any level of government, all the way down to your local dog catcher. No one that holds an office right now should be allowed to continue or ever hold one again. In fact they should all be locked up in a mega-max prison on a snake infested island somewhere. A pox on the lot of them.

Word from the battlegrounds in Ukraine is scattered and cannot always be confirmed, but some credible accounts give every indication that Putin may have blundered and faces a stronger defense than he (or the Biden administration) imagined possible.
